Where I work all the managers need to get written up!!!!
I got written up twice for the break time citation in a three week time frame and now I have to wait 60 days for it to fall off.
June 30, 2022 afternoon I received first written up but I refused to sign the first write up for performance rates. After 30 days What happens if I continue to refuse to sign the second written up for falling below 25% rates for stowing at the Amazon?

Idk if its different for every site but i just got written up and they said the write up last 12 months and its up to 6 write ups before termination
Amazon Hr don't give letter when you are Whitten up the read it over the phone without any start and end date of the write up .and they upheld it
I was told at my warehouse if I get written up 3times period I can get fired no matter if the write ups expire they said I heard it can take a year from my second write up for all of them to expire
I just had a write up today but the manager said “but it’s positive” and walked away. What does a positive write up mean??
What if you got written up back to back in the same month and you have accommodations?
can you get written up for pick amnesty last touched or pick error indicators and if so, will you get termed for mult. write ups for these
Ok so what is feedback? I got a blister on my foot and didn’t wear my safety shoes because that’s how I got it. I was on my way to get the over shoes and a manager gave me feedback. Which is crap considering it was one time, there’s people that get the over shoes everyday day.
Where can I fight the write up bro? I just got my final written for pick productivity but this last two ok I get it but this last one I feel is bs
one time i got talked to for 1 hr 45 min TOT and another hour TOT both in one night, i didn’t realize it was that long lol i started being careful with that though. i had to sign something but i wasn’t told it was a written, but i’m thinking it was since i signed a paper? also i got a first written for not making rate. i would ask them what rate was and get told “don’t worry about rate” so that was annoying. i think even if they don’t hold you accountable for rate in the beginning i should have at least been told what i should strive for just to have an idea. oh and the day before i got written up for rate, a process assistant told me to stow slower lol
Those papers are either regular warnings or first written warnings (a write up), but sometimes the managers can be super unclear and not tell you which one it is. I hate those papers.
As for the rate that’s dumb, how are they going to tell you “don’t worry about rate” when you’ve literally been written up for it lol
@@C11, I recieved my first write up for quality back in Novmeber. This was when I was a picker. I've been in Outbound Dock since peak season, but do pick up VET for Picking frequently. My manager spoke to me today that I have 2 write ups for pick qualities for the month of April . I need to avoid a third to not be fired right ?

Oh, it is serious. Five citations, and you're looking at a violation. Four of those, and you'll receive a verbal warning. Keep it up, and you're looking at a written warning. Two of those, that will land you in a world of hurt, in the form of a disciplinary review, written up by me, and placed on the desk of my immediate superior.
What about verbal warnings from PAs or PGs? Are those documented against you?
No, unless they scan your badge or something, then verbal warnings most likely aren’t documented
What are the parking lot violations? Because at my Amazon people drive crazy and nothing is done.
Reverse parking, running stop signs, speeding, etc., I guess it’s site dependent, but you can get fired instantly for some of those
@@C11 yeah our site doesn’t do anything. I’ve already been hit once. A guy reversed right into me. 😩 now I park as far away as possible.

I just got written up today because of phone use on the working floor. But real question is, can they write you up without you knowing? And don't tell you?
I got a write up too the other day for phone and they told me it stays in the system for a year and if I get another one I would be terminated …

What about the difference between written verbals and doc coaching?
Documented coaching is just them saying they spoke to you pretty much, but no write up or anything. A written verbal I believe is a write up, but I could be wrong

No I don’t think so I got written up 2 times these past 30days and I’m also converting

Nah, it’s just them watching you and making sure you’re working properly and giving you tips on how you can improve and what you need to do to start hitting rate
What a parking lot violation
Probably exceeding the posted speed limit. I also found out, by reading a sign near the exit to our parking lot, that you can’t back into a space. It’s a safety violation for some reason.

Shyt was like my 1st time doin it too , I’ve only been working here like a month . It’s coo so far, I think I work at outbound and notFulfillment center , bc our building only 1 story and we ain got no robots or nun . Also the building is new so it’s ight
