That CP 4 chime is a new whistle to add to my list, I never knew that type even existed. And I’m glad I know it now, it’s a rather unique sound. I wonder what it would sound like on a larger locomotive like C&O/WMSR 1309
I don’t know why but 1702’s SR 3 chime sounds more like a Pennsylvania Railroad 3 chime than a Southern 3 chime. 154, 70’s C of G Crosby, and 4501’s whistles are my favorites out of all of these.
God the way that they have 611's whistle tuned makes it sound like it's drowning, at least when they aren't letting it rip all the way. Other than that she's a fine machine, I plan on seeing her hopefully soon. Definite favorite here is the Canadian Pacific 4 Chime!

Fun fact: 4501’s whistle actually used to sound like that homemade 3 chime!
4501’s whistle was a bit higher pitched, but the notes are the same.

My all time favorites are 190 and number 12. All steam engines whistles sound amazing you can’t beat the sound.
My favorites are Thomas, 90, 40, 4501, 4014, 611, and 1309.

I like New York Central J3a Hudson 5406 with NKP 759's whistle.
Bruh, NKP #759 was never featured in this video, and none of the NYC J3a Hudson’s exist anymore. They were scrapped, along with 5406.
