What an enjoyable Video! After a bad day at work, this was such a lift. Let the right one in is my all time favourite vampire novel and I really must read it again. Haha! Weaveworld. I’ve owned it for thirty years, and, err….never read it😖 Like the ‘reviewer’ I’ve tried several times and failed. I will give it another go ( it’s two of my friends favourite as well and they scowl at me when Clive Barker is mentioned😂)
HAHA great video Cliff! I love reading 1-star reviews, sometimes they can push me to pick up a book and read it. I really want to read Weaveworld - Clive Barker's writing is a huge stand out for me. The Stand is up there with being one of my favourite Stephen King books, it was so incredible, long but so worth it. Thanks for sharing some of these 1 star ratings haha

Read two of the books mentioned. Um I wasn't a fan of The Stand I gave it two stars. 🙈 The other was Off Season which I thought was okay and gave 3 stars. 😃 I have been tempted to do a video like this but I am not sure I could take it as well as you did lol. 😃
Out of the books mentioned, I can understand why The Stand would not be everyone's favorite. This was a fun video to create, I say you should go for it! 😀
I’m thinking about reading NOS4A2 over the Christmas season. You know how good reviews pump you up for whatever media? The same can be said for bad reviews. I want to see if it’s really as bad as they say or if they’re just unsatisfied customers. Who are just saying trigger words because they’re upset.
I think you will love NOS4A2 Matt, and it is an excellent book to read over the Christmas season. The positive reviews way overshadow the negative reviews, as I mentioned.
I read the shorter version of The Stand when it came out and loved it. I read the longer version when it came out and also loved it. I doubt the ahorter version is available any more. If it is, it might be a better choice for people to read first. If they like it, then read the longer version. I had no idea I was swayed by the one sided views of cannibalism put forth by the media and academia. I need to be more open minded and look at the other side. That way I will have a more balanced view
