The problem with the sky rails (at least at the time) was that I looked bad in an open word. In the more arcade and lineal games it isn’t a problem
This video is amazing, i love how you have a different perspective from all the community itself; You aren't in the good side, nor the bad side, but the fair side, and all the criticism you gave on the community in this video is completely fair. Im commenting this so your channel grows as a whole and i hope this helps the algorithm to recommend your channel to other people, because you're REALLY underrated!! nice video bro!
Thank you for your kind words
@@dshaynietheawesome You're welcome! ;)
2:07 There was always a reason for rails and springs in the sky like pillars holding them up or propellers make them stay in the sky. Also, floating objects in an open world game is kind of werid in away, don't you think?
Sky Rail: propellers at the end of springs. Shadow actuality grinding on train rails and not normal rails and the rails be attached to the ground on extentions holding them up from the ground.
Rail cayon: The rails were electrical wiring and train rails that the characters were grinding on. With again springs attached to them. There was sometimes a real eorld explanation on how these game mechanics work, you know. A answe to it all. Maybe not all the times, but you know... Game logic fictional logic sometimes, lol. Btw love the content bro! ❤️
Yeah but if you question that you have to question everything that floats in the sonic series which is a lot
@@dshaynietheawesome yea lol. You right. Btw I was kind of joking about long 5 page paragraph pf an explanation. So I hope I didn't come off as an ass (I promise I'mnot a toxicfanboy).Btw I really like your videos man keep up the good work.
@dshaynietheawesome btw fun fact: the floating platforms of grass are canon in the universe, and loops are part of the natural world according to tails tube and Tails Tube. And springs also grow from the ground to I guess, lol.
Been waiting for this
When the ign trailers released I was so hyped, it looked so frikin good but everyone was hating on it
6:14 hold up is that luigikid
is it?
In my opinion, Sonic really isn't the same without green hills or something resembling green hills (like emerald hill) seeing those checkered walls with golf course styled grass, hearing the green hills song in my ears, it was for me makes a Sonic game... A Sonic game!
Also Sonic forces is underrated
Me and the bois boutta unleash all our sonic twitter toxicity on this man
I’m still playing it and it’s cool but they really need to chill out on automation and making it easy for players. Like just give us a challenge not something that a 4 year old can also figure out on its own and let us have the most control of the character.
Cyberspace levels are really the worst part of the game. The controls are worst than forces. And I still believe the themes for the cyber levels were more so a lazy or budget thing or they really firmly believe these themes are essential to every sonic game since Generations.
nice man number 3
Lol Frontiers turned out to be FULL of Automation. I’d say a good 40% of the Level Design is Automated.
Frontiers just has given me a fair but bored impression.
The open world is interesting, but unless I've played through it I cant have a proper feel of it.
The Combat looks great, even the Super Sonic combat, but the it seems to get shallow once you get into the rhythm of the fight.
The dialogue is great, but the very somber tone in some cutscenes doesn't feel like it's meshing with me. I personally like a good mix of earnest excitment and heavy danger.
The story (from what little I can absorb of it) is okay, but barely has much of a hook. The mystery is good, but I can't seem to be invested into it.
Overall, it's just a good game. Not a showstopper, with a glimmer of spectacle, but nothing else.
