Thank you man for bringing up the 3ds version. When i saw people talking about biolizard appearing in the remastered, I was shocked that they didn't mention the fact that he appeared in 3ds version of generations.😊
I love the way dooms eye makes a level react. I would have loved to have seen imagery like this from the Phantom Ruby.
Here’s what they should do for this remaster
Remaster the 3DS stages and have it be an unlock for completing the story
Maybe stuff for shadow
I’d say having a dedicated video for SxS Generations would probably benefit from the long run as you could go full detail into everything about it,even small things other channels wouldn’t
But hey that’s just my mindset regarding this that’d I’d gladly watch while not skipping a single ad for maximum profits

Nice vid! On the topic of which type of video to make, I would recommend making the old idea, but keep the context of the upcoming game in mind. That way you can have your original thoughts, but future proof it a little. Then, in the Sonic X Shadow video you can amend anything you don't agree with in the original video, and you can make a full review of the Shadow content and the changes the game made to the original content.
I love ya man but the audio is really off. Not just that it's low quality, more that the balancing puts SA2B to shame. But apart from that banger vid.
ASKING ALOUD if anyone knows a decent way to bypass HDCP on PS3,
my usual method of capturing PS3 footage is with the classic elgato game capture HD model which comes
with a cable that captures PS3 footage through an analogue signal which amazingly actually looks decent,
but for a full sonic generations comparison video I want to capture it through HDMI on one of my newer Capture devices
In order to get the cleanest footage possible.
I know there's a method with an HDMI splitter but the splitter I bought does not Bypass HDCP. any suggestions?
I stumbled onto your channel a couple of months ago and I'm just popping in to say I really like your videos. Give the new release it's own vid I reckon. You could compare all the old games, and then if the new version stinks at least it can be a follow-up.

I hope you also have to get 7 chaos Emeralds as shadow. That would result in 14 REAL chaos Emeralds.
The 7 of Sonic Generations are the classic Emeralds. But the ones in Shadow Generations are the modern Emeralds.
I’d want a dedicated video for SXS Generations, it would give the normal ports some spotlight if the game sucks.

I'm so excited for more Shadow content.
I am excited for this game. Mainly for the new Shadow stuff. I have a feeling that Shadow will play a lot more aggressively than even Sonic does in Frontiers that seems like what the footage is indicating.
An idea I have but idk if they’d do for this game but because they’ve been a few games that have taken fan content and put it onto consoles (with the creators awareness ofc) and I was thinking, maybe releasing fan content for free on consoles like a mod pack basically this would guarantee that some mods would live and this would be available for both console and PC versions.
So even if i bought the orig8nal steam copy after this temaster comes out i wont be able to use mods?
No if you buy it before it’s unavailable you still have it,

Uh, not to be rude, but there’s a bit of a SA2 level sound mixing issue.
I do find it a bit paradoxical when people state the PC version of any game tends to be superior to any console version ignoring the following:
1) Most tend to be exclusive to Windows OS and certain versions of Windows behave differently for certain games or do not function at all.
2) Certain games require mods to be functional on modern computers (e.g., Fallout New Vegas) without experiencing severe issues.
3) You'll be spending over $1,000 on computers (assuming you are not assembling your own which may cost more) to have it strong enough to run any/most games. Also you may need to pay more if wanting an SSD instead of a HDD as they are stingy with the storage sizes of the former.
4) Without mods/unofficial patches, PC versions (except when they are the version that came first) tend to have more bugs and glitches than console versions and/or bugs and glitches that only exist on PC that depends on various factors causing the issue.
5) Especially with Windows 11, you'll need to adjust a lot of settings, remove bloatware, disable invasive things like Windows/Microsoft Telemetry, other stuff that collects your data and wastes resources and power, and disabling automatic system triggers that will cause slow down with your game or even freeze your game for arbitrary reasons and cause issues due to "security risks".
6) Certain games have DRM on them more commonly on PC, especially, for example, the infamous Games For Wimdows Live.
7) Even if certain games were created with a controller in mind and not a mouse and keyboard, there may be no native controller support for certain games or the code for such support was ripped out when brought to PC.
So, yes. PC games technically are better assuming you have A LOT of money and time to make said PC optimal for games.
Also, if you plan to get a new Windows computer, "downgrade" to Windows 10 immediately. It will save you a lot of headache.

Does the 360 version of Sonic Generations crash an insane amount, or is that just the result of running 360 games on the Series?
I can’t say I’ve experienced any crashing on 360

I’ve recently bought Generations 360 version, for my Series S, in preparation of Sega possibly delisting; and while it is a blast to play, I average about two crashes per play session. I guess I’ll chalk this one up to Microsoft’s emulating software.

@shahgyy well most of the time i pose and render stuff in my animation software maya ontop of backgrounds made from parts of the videos in my video editor vegas pro, and i edit the layers together using photopea which is basically a web based recreation of photoshop

Eh, I think it looks worse than the original because of how much bloom there is.
It ironically makes it look less realistic. On top of me just thinking a lot of bloom makes things visually worse.

I had this concept of what if I remastered the story of Generations.
I would establish that Eggman still had some energy left for a handheld mind control gun. One resembling the bigger ones he used in Colors.
After finding the Time Eater, he learns that it can affect the time limit for energy usage. So using the last bit of Mind control energy, he mind controls Shadow, Silver, and Chaos after the Time Eater captures them. And sends off to fight Sonic.
With how little negative HGO energy the rivals had, Sonic was able to easily knock them back to their senses. Even if the little bit that was used on them was still given an infinite time limit.
Side note, the Time Eater can’t increase the amount of negative HGO energy in this fan concept. It can only make the time limit on them infinite. So it’s like if you took an Apple, covered it in preservatives, and split it into three pieces to give to three people.
As to why Eggman doesn’t go to the point in time where he can get more negative HGO energy easily?
Ego. He believes that his rewriting history plan is so full proof, that he doesn’t make a plan B with anything involving previous failed plans.
Tbh tho, it’s not a perfect way of doing it. As if the energy depletion is frozen in time, how are the characters mind controlled? The energy is no longer flowing through them to be mind controlled as the energy depletion is frozen in time.
Like the best way for this to make sense, is if the Time Eater resets the amount of energy before it depletes.
It’s not like Eggman is going to worry about how the Time Eater is resetting the energy, as he is more focused on changing history.

On Xbox360-series x there is normal generations already so for Xbox players will have to buy the game again and only for episode shadow instead of a dlc for Xbox only💀 (and I guess this go’s for pc too)
