I don’t know how you guys do it. But every time I’m thinking about a new board game to get you come out with a buyers guide for that series. I’m always appreciative of your videos even if my wallet is not.
Thank you for this video. My girlfriend has been very interested in Horizons, and it was very helpful to get an overview of the different games in this series.
Hello guys. I'm not an Imperium player but I wanted to say how well done and incredibly helpful your buyer's guides are. Years after everyone else I finally decided to stop resisting and get Nemesis. Your guide was really helpful even though in the end Ive gone for the original game (I'm a huge Alien fan so the original setting is everything for me, Lockdown just wouldn't be the same). Thanks.
I bought all of them. It is great solo and 2p game. After few games everything is super clear. It is worth to mention that every core box have different market cards, so that will increase replayability and it'll not be so boring after many games. Highly recommended.
Great guide! Appreciate the perspective from a couple rather than a solo player, which is the most popular one with this game. And the honest opinion of how you don't need them all, but might end up wanting them all! We too got started with Classics, added Legend and are currently waiting for Horizons to come out in Spanish!
This is exactly the video I was looking for. I kinda need to own everything, so I want to least know how they are combined and what each game offers. Thank you for your video. Subscribed!
Great video! I am waiting on my Horizons order to arrive. Do you find the different Commons decks similar, or do you have a preferred one, or do you rotate for variety?
The Horizons commons deck feels quite different from the other two. I think it is a bit more complex as the game expects you to work a bit harder to find the combos. This might just be a side effect of being very familiar with the Legends and Classics sets while finding Horizons having mostly wholly new cards and effects. Edit: I rotate for variety!
I have roughly 16 plays across all three titles and have used each set of commons more than once. I do not think I have enough plays to truly appreciate the differences. They do have different feels though even with out "enough" plays.
They defo feel different, but not enough to put our fingers on the exact reason why. No preferred one yet, although we do like to rotate in and out just to see what happens.

Our apologies for the loss of your money. Can't wait to read your mind for our next Buyer's Guide
What an Exellent review and summary, I have watched about five other reviews and none were as clean as this one. You covered all aspects soo well.
Thank you so much! So nice of you to say!

Thank you! We love making them so we are always on the lookout for more to make. Hope you enjoy Nemesis!
The various incarnations of Dinosaur Island/Dinosaur world might be a possible future episode?

I have bought most games based off on your recommendations and buyers guide. Just bought Imperium Horizons as well. Thanks for all your efforts!
Well...we hope you feel the same as we did otherwise it's awkward ;). Hope you enjoy Horizons!
Thank for the Guide. ❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Hey Guys, Just curious how you found the card quality? My cards were not good at all.
They were pretty solid. Not like top tier linen cards or anything but good enough that I've never thought about them.
