The word biscuit comes from the Latin "panis biscoctus," which means "twice baked", so it's no coincidence that a biscuit is similar to biscotti, the cookies that actually are twice baked. It wasn't until several 19th-century innovations came along that we got what's now recognized as a Southern biscuit. First, better flour mills, most of them in the Midwest, and increased wheat production dropped the price of flour enough that poor Southerners could also afford to buy flour. And, the development of chemical leavening agents, such as pearl ash (potassium carbonate), potassium bicarbonate, and sodium bicarbonate, what we now call baking soda, helped biscuits reach new heights, without yeast or beaten eggs

It's been 30 years or more since I was at Loveless. I teared up watching you Jessi especially saying it was your Grandpa's favorite. So many memories for myself in that room, going down the street to Chaffin's Dinner Barn on HS dates, Dotson's in Franklin after church or ball games. Omg it's a flood of nostalgia. Those biscuits are absolutely the best, red eye gravy 😋 mmm, fried pies 🤤. I love what y'all do and love what you just did for me. Keep touching hearts.. you got a fan!
When Jessi was dancing while eating her biscuits, it reminded me of one of my (hillbilly) dad's favorite sayings. When the food is really good, "It's so good you can't sit still and eat it."
I was surprised that neither of them dipped those heavenly potatoes in that gravy! 🤤 Unfortunatly going through chemo again, I'd only be able to have about a bite of everything, but this made me SOOO hungry!! 🤤🥰 Thanks guys🤗🥰
American Southern food has a lot in common with Northern Italian country cooking, especially each cuisine's appreciation for pork and dairy products, as well as grits/polenta being mainstays.
I'm a southerner and love grits! They are so good if cooked correctly. They should not taste grainy but smooth. I add a little sour cream to mine and lots of butter and of course salt and pepper to taste.
I'm not a southerner, but since i'm in the military I've heard of typical additions like syrup, salt+pepper, jelly, and cheese, but never sour cream. That sounds gross to me on the face of it...BUT, I might have to try it some time just to see, because I was raised to never say you don't like something before you try it.
Every diner offers a full breakfast like this but you really have to search for the hidden gems. The ones that make from scratch and use fresh ingredients instead of frozen bulk items. Usually when you see homemade jam on the table the food is going to be good.
So true! I live in southern Cali and so naturally we have very few diners that offer good authentic southern breakfast but when you find one that does you can tell instantly everything is made from scratch!!
Right?!? I'm in Pennsylvania and first thing I did was map it to see how long of a drive. Second thing was find their website to see if they shipped food (FedEx could get it to me overnight!) but they don't. (You can buy pantry items from their store but not from the Cafe. 😭)
As a native Tennessean thank you for filming this. We southerners take pride in our regions and states and the loveless is in an institution not only in Nashville but in the south. You make me proud
It actually makes perfect sense that an Italian would like American breakfast sausage because of all the black pepper, sage and fennel seed (if not also marjoram) in the pork. Those flavors should be right up their alley.
What else can you drink from? I have heard that some people have things called "glasses", but I have only ever seen coffee cups and Mason jars. Oh wait, some jelly comes in jars with handles. They must be for more formal occasions.
Most Italians actually aren't as negative as him on others food. And most actually know even in Italy, recipes vary. This guy visited US and they were calling Italian food from actual Italian immigrant families " not Italian" and truly just so disrespctful My Italian uncle my Aunts husband) cant stand me watching them even as he feels he makes Italians look bad constantly putting down others. There was a particular video where he claimed Italians dont put Garlic in Sauce to which he promptly picked up his cell phone and dialed his Grandma in Italy to have her share the recipe which indeed contains Garlic that is left in. Southern Italian and Northern Italian food varies much line in US we have Southern and Northern recipes that vary. Praising their type of attitude isn't doing anything for them to understand their wrong.
I have never been more proud to be from the South than seeing this . He really knows good food . NOW YOU HAVE GOT TO GET HIM TO TRY ..... RAPPA SCRAPPLE . Being in Maryland that is a staple in nearly every household . Scrapple is the best .
I’m Southern Californian born and raised, and my best friend from childhood moved to Birmingham, Alabama for residency. We ate our way through that town every time I visited 🤤🖤 I had never tasted such delights before, and never since. Fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese 💯💯💯 bbq with white sauce, leaf lard biscuits, and the discovery of tomato pie 👅🎉👅
I’m so happy to see you guys exploring your own town. I’m guessing it’s your town or at least nearby. It’s great! Keep going in this direction. It’s heart warming. This is happiness!
If yall haven't been to Texas to try Authentic Mexican foods and other kinds of restaurants in Texas. I'd recommend it. Happy safe travels wherever yall go and thank you for the video reaction. They're very entertaining. Thank you again.
And forget the Texan breakfast, steak and eggs. And you have to try the chicken fried steak, the unofficially official dish of Texas (yes, the actual state dish is chili, but let's face it, a good CFS beats the pants off of almost anything.)
Not sure how famous those biscuits are since this is the first time I’ve heard of the place 😂 But I can confirm based on visits to the South that the best places with Southern cuisine are the small places like this. As they say, it’s the small things that count, and these gems take that to the next level with their charm. And you just proved that cheese really does make everything better! My favorite small places to eat are the diners of New Jersey. Although I was born and raised in NY, my parents are from NJ and my dad would take me on long drives to NJ just to go to the places he grew up eating at. While we did those drives, Nabisco still had a factory in New Jersey (yes, Oreos were once made in New Jersey!) and you could just smell the cookies from the highway which was my favorite part about those drives. NJ is the diner capital of America, and just like these Southern establishments, they too have their own charm. The feeling of going back in time to get a quick bite to eat is why these diners and Southern stalls are so successful.
This place has been featured in every major food magazine, blog, youtube channel, etc as the best breakfast in the US. Even Martha Stewart said she would rather have biscuits from here instead of making them herself.
This place is near impossible to get into for breakfast on weekends because of the tourists that show up by the busload. And it’s actually not small, either. It’s an old, mom and pop motel that’s been turned into a whole complex. The cafe started as a little add-on to the motel and over time just took over. But the food is good and made from scratch. Now, I actually prefer the dinner menu to their breakfast food, and as famous as the biscuits are, compared to others in town I think theirs are…middling. But I love their dinners, those potatoes really are fabulous…I t’s a really great intro to Southern food and a great vibe. But still, for Southern breakfast in Nashville, Monell’s is where it’s really at.
Comparing Apples and Oranges. I enjoy and have learned to cook Southern Food. My NC wife love good Italian food and a real diner. I told her to look for a Greek flag outside diners
The going rouge thing had my laughing so hard! That IS the point of southern food IMO, they throw things together and see what sticks...lol When I brought my friend from England to the US I introduced him to Southern food and he was in love!!
having travelled to Italy and to the Loveless Cafe, Alessio is really honest in his appraisal and your videos are truly refreshing ! Go Southern and Italian cooking !!
For a year, I traveled to Nashville about a dozen times for business. Each time, I ate at Loveless Cafe. You can buy their biscuit mix and preserves from their online store too. Totally worth it!
I have a convention I’m headed to in Nashville. I’m so excited to have a place to get a real Southern breakfast! (My family’s from the South, I was raised elsewhere, but my heart is in my roots.) Thanks for sharing this!
Love your content, and you guys editing is getting good! I love that you guys always add an entertainment value to your videos too, keeping them light hearted. Makes them so fun to watch. ❤
I used to live about 10 minutes from Loveless Café. I lived in Bellevue. I ate there at least once a week it was by far the best food. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! ❤
Welcome to the south Alessio!😁🤤 I live about 1 hr and 45 min from Nashville and have never been to the Lovelace Cafe but have heard great things! I just think no one can get down on breakfast like my family! But the biscuit sampler.... it did look amazing! I love pimento cheese! I gotta get to this place lol!
@@raymondweaver8526 I'm not sure. I haven't had polenta. Grits are basically dried, ground corn. When I just looked it up, it seems they are pretty much the same. 😏
That meal at Loveless Cafe in Nashville looks amazing. Homemade biscuits, grits and the rest are all classic southern breakfast foods. Great video. You both made it fun to watch. My mother-in-law was from the South. She taught me how to make those biscuits & they are delicious. Happy to see you enjoyed yourselves.
After watching a dozen of your videos, I am watching this one again. I am retired living in Tennessee and loving life. You two are terrific. I grew up in Southern California in the 60's. But I visited Tennessee every summer. I always knew I would come here to retire.
My tummy was aching after watching you eat all that! I haven’t had Loveless breakfast in years but I remember the feeling after eating all the delicious things there. Cheesy grits are one of my favorites, and yes, I love how they cook the potatoes. Ok, now I gotta drive to Nashville to get some Loveless!
Brought back yummy memories; still recall having a chunk of fried ham in red eye gravy - had to ask the server how they made the gravy. Coffee was poured into the pan which the ham was fried and the chunks were scraped off the pan and then poured over the ham. Glad you were able to experience this cafe.
I love redeye gravy! My Mom used to make it on the weekends when we had Country Ham or Sausage...it was so good! I'd use a butter knife to offset my plate so all of the redeye gravy would stay on the meat, then sop up any leftover gravy with another biscuit. I also loved her fried Corn Dodgers with Molasses and softened butter mixed together, then slathered on the Corn Dodgers...Yum!!!
You guys are DARLING together! I've watched several of your videos and love the way you interact. Pillowy biscuits and southern breakfast food!? Count me in!!
Alessio & Jessie, so glad you enjoyed your traditional southern breakfast!! I was waiting for you, Alessio to try the grits!!( Soft polenta!!). I know your discerning palette loves a good meal!! My two favorite loves of my life! Italian guys and southern cuisine! Best of the best! Alessio, what would they do to you if you ate that for breakfast in public in Italy????? I'm curious to know????? 🤨🧐🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁 You guys are beautiful together! I love how much you love each other! Your videos ALWAYS make me smile and/or laugh my head off! Seems like Alessio is coming around to loving true American cuisine huh? Good for you Alessio, I think you really deserve it! It's wonderful isn't it! The look on your face showing off your love necklace, priceless. Your happy dance is really close to a hippy girl dance from my youth, also very nice. OMG...the look of disappointment in himself, and fear that he was going to lose it, and shame that he had nearly lost the pimento cheese biscuit! Y'all are lovely together.

I am crying!! I moved from North Carolina to Vermont in 2018 & there is NOWHERE here that makes good southern breakfast or any other kind of southern food!
I cannot believe it took Alessio 8 years to experience a Southern American breakfast. I had most of my American experiences within the first year of moving here and despite experiencing loads of American things in 25 years I still have so much more to experience.
You guys are a refreshing break from a lot of couple youtubers where you feel like the relationship might be toxic in the background. You guys clearly love each other and each other's company and it make's your videos very authentic feeling with a lot of playful jokes. Good for you.
After watching hundreds of videos of "Brits try this in America" ,"Italians try that in America",or "Irish eat XYZ in America", I've determined that when Europeans bitch about American food, what they're basically saying is they've either never been here, or only every ate at fast food and/or corporate chains in New England. I never see them complain about the food in a family owned restaurant in the South.
I have to admit I have very little faith in american food, but gosh, this looks absolutely amazing! I wish Scotty could beam me to Southern America, over the great pond, just for breakfast tomorrow! Scotty, are you there? ;-) Greetings from Belgium to the Pasinis, you really are a great couple! Alla prossima...
I love you guys! So cute! Did he not dip his biscuit in the gravy tho? I prefer that than the jam. I love to make a little sausage biscuit sandwich with the gravy. 🤤 probably my fave breakfast ever with hash browns/potatoes.
Loveless is one of my favorite spots in Nashville. I always visit when I’m in town. Love that their amazing biscuits are bottomless cheesy grits are so good! Also, Nashville Jam Cafe is another hidden gem. ❤ Buon Appetito!
I was really surprised that Alessio rated the country ham so low, it has the flavor of prosciutto and is cured in a similar way. I love country ham but rarely eat it because of all the sodium. If I'm at Loveless for lunch or dinner I always get their fried chicken livers. Do they still have their apple butter? That's what I always put on my biscuits when I go there. The first time I went there I was with my cousins on our way back from Nashville and they wanted to go there... after turning off I40 we drove forever to get there, it is worth the drive.
Soak your country ham in warm water for a bit before you cook it. It takes the salt level down. I can’t believe there was no red eye gravy with it! He’d have ranked it higher as much as he loves coffee.
Glad you enjoyed it! I love southern food. I am from the Pacific Northwest in WA so when I use to live in West Nashville in Bellevue area where Loveless Cafe was about 4 miles from my house it is always a favorite of mine! My favorite BBQ in Nashville is Martin's BBQ!
Southern girl here. Cheesy grits with sunny side egg, dip biscuit in yolk with bite of good thick bacon or bacon biscuit??!!?! My heaven!!!! You can also eat grits with cheesy scrambled egg. So glad you enjoyed! Not a fan of casserole unless exceptional but home fries with onion? Hands down winner for my family. We all kind of creat our own when going out. BTW, ALWAYS go to small cafes for good breakfast. The big chains don't even come close. Good call!
Oh no!!!! Now I’m sooooo hungry! Lol… there’s absolutely nothing better than a Southern breakfast. Only thing I would have done differently, would have had a sweet tea . 😂❤❤❤
I grew up less than 5 miles from this place…..and had always heard of it….but i never went……i took my parents there & had a wonderful breakfast….. my favorite was the pork & eggs!! Never had pork for breakfast!! I live in florida now….but every time i go home…..i visit this place….. love it!! The biscuits are delicious!!!
It's so much fun watching your enjoyment of all kinds of food. After seeing this, you inspired me to find the Loveless Cafe Cookbook and I did on an on-line used book "store". I have not made anything from it yet, but will try the biscuits for sure!
I always get sausage gravy on fried chicken steaks or biscuits. Lately I have been ordering an extra cup of sausage gravy for any breakfast I order. Love that stuff and put it on everything! Even omelets... Everything. Probably gonna die soon...Worth it!
I've never had a Southern breakfast, but Alessio's reactions really make me keen to try! Especially the fried green tomato with pimento cheese, both of which I've been dying to try for ages. However, living on the other side of the world doesn't exactly make it easy 😂
There are recipes for pimento cheese. It is easy to make. I am not a huge fan. I am from the Chicago area and now live in Georgia since 1999. LOVE grits and always have!
@@linda.christie I’m with you on pimento cheese. I’ve lived all over the south (all over the world really) but growing up I didn’t really encounter pimento cheese until I lived in Atlanta. It’s a huge thing in Georgia and SC, all through the piedmont area. But it’s a take it or leave it food. Some people love it and always order it when they see it on a menu in one of its many iterations (pimento cheeseburger, pimento grilled cheese, etc etc). Grits are everywhere in the South, and I don’t know a single southerner who doesn’t like them. That said, it’s almost always the version of grits they grew up eating that they love - every other kind of grits is an abomination. I grew up with yellow cornmeal grits cooked in milk with a little butter and cheddar added at the end, but not too much. Some of my friends I grew up with wouldn’t eat grits made that way when they came to my house. And honestly, I didn’t like to eat grits at their house. But I did anyway. Cuz like I said, I’m from the south and you eat what’s put in front of you. Thank goodness most of it is DELICIOUS!
Most of this stuff is easily made at home, if you can source the ingredients. Note I said easily, not quickly. As for recipes, the internet is your friend.
OMG, It still looks the same as it did when I was a kid. My high school sorority held my first spring formal there. And Percy Warner & Edwin Warner Parks are across the street. I knew those parks inside out. There used to be a stable at Percy Warner Park by the golf course & that was where first learned to ride. There is also Cheekwood where my favorite exhibit was Christmas Trees from around the world.. After watching your video I may have to think about moving back to Nashville 🥰
I’m neither city nor country mouse. Have done both. Worked on farms. Backbreaking work! And cities stress me all the way out. Me? I like beach. That would be my ideal.
I'm a New Yorker who lived in Italy and have been all over the US. The US Southern breakfast is a very special thing. Frankly where I lived in Italy, breakfast was non-existent--Coffee, and a fruit or cream filled croissant. Since most of the restaurants and all the shops were closed in the afternoon from noon to 4 o'clock, you had better either eat at home or have food with you while sightseeing. Or collapse from hunger. It required real planning. A full US breakfast (Southern great or even New York pancakes with maple syrup or excellent bagels with lox and cream cheese) is unheard of anywhere in Italy.
Oh, I miss my southern foods. I'm stuck in California and they don't have good southern foods. I'm so happy he loves the food. Great job guys, you're a lovely couple! Those biscuits look amazing! Can't wait for more yummy food tasting.
Love seeing this guy, proper Italian who's really picky about what he eats, almost stereotypically lol, and seeing him love southern food, brings me lots of joy. Keep up the good work guys
Hello my friends! :D I love the little happy dances you both do when the food is amazing. I wish I could make a nice biscuit like you have here, mine always end up like hockey pucks, hard and inedible. :D That food made me hungry, now I've got to go make some scrambled eggs with cheese. Great save, Alessio! :D If you decide to buy a farming property, may I suggest you don't have anything but chickens for the first year. They are the easiest to care for and this will allow you to get a chance to figure out where everything should be situated (barn/permanent or mobile coop, pond, etc...) before you go on to bigger animals that take more infrastructure and attention. We made the mistake of trying to do too much at the beginning and learned the hard way that we weren't quite as prepared as we thought. It's been hard work, we've suffered some heartbreak, we've had a lot of fun since we moved onto our homestead and we've learned a lot of lessons along the way, so I hope you don't mind me offering the suggestion to start small and learn before moving on, save yourself some heartache if you can, and build as you learn. You will make great homesteaders/farmers if you do. :D God bless you and your wonderful family. Have an awesome day my fabulous friends! :D
What a wonderful and thoughtful comment! Thank you! We really appreciate the advice and the ability to learn from your own story. That means a lot to us! Hope you and your family continue to live beautiful and prosperous lives!!

@@blckgrd I only put a little. It just makes them creamier. Hope you like it :)
We started putting cream cheese in our grits and it’s amazing!
Try making your grits with beef or chicken stock instead of water…. Yum
This is one of my favorite episodes! So happy to see Alessio enjoying southern food. Jessie dancing and Alessio playing air guitar was so funny.
I do believe that was air banjo, lol!
As a southerner this totally warms my heart!
Right? It's like a big hug!
Cracker barrel makes a lot of their stuff from scratch even though it's in bulk for breakfast foods.
Oh dear lord!!!! I’m from Canada and I’m willing to fly down just to try all this food! Amazing!!!!
We'd love to have you.
We take all our visitors here!
Right?!? I'm in Pennsylvania and first thing I did was map it to see how long of a drive. Second thing was find their website to see if they shipped food (FedEx could get it to me overnight!) but they don't. (You can buy pantry items from their store but not from the Cafe. 😭)
@@adterpandrea the apple butter is worth buying. Just fyi. It’s incredible.
@@SneakyCheeseThief I bet! I miss my mother's apple butter. That might be the treat I need.
As a native Tennessean thank you for filming this. We southerners take pride in our regions and states and the loveless is in an institution not only in Nashville but in the south. You make me proud
You two def need to start a food review channel. Us Italians are always brutally honest about the food when it comes to eat out.
Oh yeah
It actually makes perfect sense that an Italian would like American breakfast sausage because of all the black pepper, sage and fennel seed (if not also marjoram) in the pork. Those flavors should be right up their alley.
Couldn’t ya just hear the banjos? Total happiness and a side of Southern breakfast! You guys are beyond cute. ❤❤
everything tastes better when you drink it from a mason jar
Agreed 🙌
That's what my kids think! I'm from VA, and kids drink from the jelly jar. 😂
What else can you drink from? I have heard that some people have things called "glasses", but I have only ever seen coffee cups and Mason jars. Oh wait, some jelly comes in jars with handles. They must be for more formal occasions.
Especially corn.
FACTS
I’m shocked Alessio said 10/10 as a classic Italian! The food is really good! Glad you blew his mind!
Most Italians actually aren't as negative as him on others food. And most actually know even in Italy, recipes vary. This guy visited US and they were calling Italian food from actual Italian immigrant families " not Italian" and truly just so disrespctful
My Italian uncle my Aunts husband) cant stand me watching them even as he feels he makes Italians look bad constantly putting down others.
Lol scrapple is the breakfast underdog. Doesn't get much attention outside the area. I prefer Hughes but rapa scrapple does the trick
Never heard of scrapple. I'm going to look this up. Thank you
Edit: so it's like a pork meatloaf? It sounds good
I’m Southern Californian born and raised, and my best friend from childhood moved to Birmingham, Alabama for residency.
Tex Mex in TX is a must. Bonus if restaurant has both TexMex AND Authentic Mexican!
And forget the Texan breakfast, steak and eggs. And you have to try the chicken fried steak, the unofficially official dish of Texas (yes, the actual state dish is chili, but let's face it, a good CFS beats the pants off of almost anything.)
I love it when Alessio eats southern food and loves it. Makes me happy. Hands down though, southern food is the best thing in the world.
The Loveless Cafe is a Nashville institution!
@@ninaradio Monell's is also excellent!!!
I love how Alessio loves everything that Jessi loves. He is such a great partner.
Cheesy grits as a condiment is the most American thing ever. Lol!
Loved this so much! You are both so adorable. Enjoy! 💕
How close are grits to polenta?
Alessio is going to get full on the biscuits and butter with jelly!
He definitely did but no regrets haha
It isn't a good southern breakfast unless you eat so much that you have a food coma afterwards.
His expression when the biscuit went rogue and jumped overboard. Y'all are too cute!
Thank you so much Emily ❤️
Alessio & Jessie, so glad you enjoyed your traditional southern breakfast!! I was waiting for you, Alessio to try the grits!!( Soft polenta!!). I know your discerning palette loves a good meal!! Non apptito!! Love to you both!! You’ll need a run to work off the calories!!🤣🤣🤣🤣. Caio, lovely couple!!😍😍😍😍😍
❤️🇮🇹❤️ It made my heart happy to see you enjoy a southern breakfast
My two favorite loves of my life! Italian guys and southern cuisine! Best of the best!
Alessio, what would they do to you if you ate that for breakfast in public in Italy?????
I'm curious to know????? 🤨🧐🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁
You guys are beautiful together! I love how much you love each other! Your videos ALWAYS make me smile and/or laugh my head off! Seems like Alessio is coming around to loving true American cuisine huh?
Good for you Alessio, I think you really deserve it! It's wonderful isn't it!
I'm from Mississippi, and I think Southern food is the Absolute best food on the planet! Happy eating! Stay blessed guys! AS ALWAYS... Great video y'all!💯❤️👍
So joyful! A farm may be the best of both countries! Brillant.
When I first moved to the south I had a similar reaction to pimento cheese. That stuff is so good and relatively unknown other places.
I Love that Alessio loved Southern food. I am a southern food girl. especially pimento cheese, sausage gravy and biscuits. so the fact he loved those things YAY!! And Jessi I Love how you just light up when you love a food. your eyes just get so bright and you have such a beautiful smile. You guys always make me smile with your videos, either on here or Tik Tok!!!
Agreed. Pimento cheese is life affirming.
@@justkim1 agree!!!
OMG that sounds like a happy place! 😊 Thanks for putting it on our radar next time we drive through Tennessee.
Next time, have Alessio try biscuits and gravy. 😃
My first thought was that they should have saved a few biscuits for the gravy❤
This was my favorite video EVER! It’s like Alessio fell more in love with America a little more with every bite!!!! Love you guys!
I love their biscuits and jam! And their grits are amazing!!
Seriously could make an entire meal just from the biscuits!
Glad he loves this food! I watch alot of yall videos but this one is special living in the south myself and knowing how serious he is about food. I grew up eating everything yall ate in this video. Thanks to both of you for the good energy and vibes!
I enjoyed this video so much! I think you guys need to do a an “Alessio Tries Southern Food” series like you guys did for NYC lol
You two are the best most loving people I have ever seen. It makes me happy to just watch you. You were made for each other. God blessed us all when he put you together 💜
I just loved this! I recently found your channel and I truly enjoy your wholesome content! Very rare to find lately ❤
Thank you so much Lena❤️
Where ever you go there will be some examples of wonderful traditional foods.
When you enjoy a really good breakfast your day is just happy. The biscuits did it for me. Yum 😋
The great thing is Nashville and middle Tennessee are FULL of places right up there with Loveless. You can get amazing breakfasts all over the place.
Jessi has the most beautiful smile.
Good call!
Nothing beats a good southern breakfast. I live in the south and I make my own homemade biscuits 😋👏❤️
The childlike joy throughout this video is everything. 💛
Glad I found you guys!
Omg the food looks sooo good 🤤
Love your videos!! ♥️
It's so much fun watching your enjoyment of all kinds of food. After seeing this, you inspired me to find the Loveless Cafe Cookbook and I did on an on-line used book "store". I have not made anything from it yet, but will try the biscuits for sure!
This is fun seeing Alessio try all this Southern cuisine!
Southern cookin' is America's finest. Every international friend I've had falls in love immediately lol
The air banjo! 😂
You need to grow your own tomatoes. Might need to order that cheese online. Sounds so yummy!
@@georgesakellaropoulos8162 love the clarification of "easily, not quickly" 👍😆
My MaMa Reid made the best biscuits in the world. And gave me the best flour covered apron hugs ever.
This is adorable and wholesome! Such a pleasure to see them enjoy southern breakfast!
Bringing the Amore to the Loveless. 😂❤
Oh, I miss my southern foods. I'm stuck in California and they don't have good southern foods. I'm so happy he loves the food. Great job guys, you're a lovely couple! Those biscuits look amazing! Can't wait for more yummy food tasting.
I hate shaking when I go to eat I feel like my body is more excited than I am to eat.
Love seeing this guy, proper Italian who's really picky about what he eats, almost stereotypically lol, and seeing him love southern food, brings me lots of joy. Keep up the good work guys
Hello my friends! :D
I love the little happy dances you both do when the food is amazing. I wish I could make a nice biscuit like you have here, mine always end up like hockey pucks, hard and inedible. :D
That food made me hungry, now I've got to go make some scrambled eggs with cheese. Great save, Alessio! :D
If you decide to buy a farming property, may I suggest you don't have anything but chickens for the first year. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. Have an awesome day my fabulous friends! :D
What a wonderful and thoughtful comment! Thank you! We really appreciate the advice and the ability to learn from your own story. That means a lot to us! Hope you and your family continue to live beautiful and prosperous lives!!
His little southern breakfast dance made my whole day. I was so scared he wouldn't like the grits. Grits and hashbrown casserole with cheesy scrambled eggs is EVERYTHING 🤟🏼
