I love Alessio's mom, the wood stove (the best heat!), his grandmother and her star cat, the chores of being home, the specialty stores, the sound of small town life, and of course, his grandfather and his astonishingly beautiful mosaic art. To be surrounded by all of that everyday is the most wonderful way to live. Why do his grandfather and grandmother live apart, I wonder (none of my business)? And I cannot wait to follow your journey to meet his brother and father. Where do they live? What do they do? What's the family dynamic like? Inquiring minds want to know! 😊 One of your most bellissimo videos!
Maternal grandfather, paternal grandmother

Absolutely loved your journey to visit your Familia in the North of Italy. I am first generation Italian living in Toronto. I still have many cousins living in and around Sulmona and Pratola. Excellent sharing! You two should visit Toronto Canada one day. Thankyou for taking us down memory lane. ❤ 🇮🇹

Just came across your video as I search places to be this summer in Tuscany. My husband has traveled in Italy many times before we got married 4 years ago ( we’re in our 60’’s). Ever since, he has taken me every year on our anniversary. I fell in love with the people and the culture! Thank you for sharing your family. It warmed my heart ❤
i live in tuscany..
I am so confused ! When i read Northern Italy, Tuscany doesn't automatically come to mind. I think the industrial north, Milan, Torino, Como.
Are they in N Italy or Florence ??
Or is Toscana actually considered "North" ?
Thank you
@@avalerie4467I am Italian and I can tell you that Tuscany is considered geographically "central Italy" like the regions of Marche, Umbria, Lazio, then below these are the southern regions
@@giansala7409 grazie. Couldn't figure out why people were referencing Toscana when i thought we were in N Italy. Good to know i didn't have my compass wrong.

I have been to Italy over 20 times and I have never seen an area like this- beautiful!
