After living in various parts of Arizona for 50 years I am not sure I would agree with this ranking but a good representation of what is here. Obviously employment and diversity are key factors for most people interested in moving here so I would suggest Phoenix or Tucson. Each of these has lifestyle options (City vs Suburb vs rural) that can accommodate most but you won't see snow and be ready for the heat.
This past winter Tucson had five days of snow. Incredible! It used to be that Tucson got a dusting every few years and we would go out and marvel in it before it melted, usually by noontime. Things are changing though.
I’m sorry but this guy has left all his peers in the dust this guy is excellent at what he does he seem to know and address everything anyone can ask for.
I used to live in Mesa in the 80’s. Couldn’t find work, had to move back to Ohio. Worst decision I ever made. I wish I would have stayed. I miss Arizona terribly.

This is after I moved out of Fresno, the meth capital of the nation and the poorest city in California. Between Fresno and Phoenix I lived in Detroit. Prescott is the safest city in Arizona, the people are the nicest I've ever met, and being from 110 degree Fresno and Phoenix the weather is amazing. There's zero traffic, never heard of a shooting and the crime is quite literally the lowest in the state. What are you on about??

I was born in Flagstaff and will always love it. I went down to Tucson for college and bought my first house in Marana. I have to say that I like owning in Marana, its a little less restrictive than Tucson and is on a growth track. I will always love Flagstaff, but agree it is a really expensive place to live. #beardown
I lived & worked in Sedona / Cottonwood for 12 years driving jeeps for a living, horrible traffic, snobby residents , Sedona has beed ruined by tourism. I now live in Tucson & i love it.
FYI Phoenix and Tucson are suffering from a 20 year drought. Our drinking water (CAP) is transported over 328 miles from the Colorado River. That water has been over-allocated between seven states and Mexico. The water is stored in Lake Mead that is quickly becoming depleted. You might have seen the pics with what looks like a bathroom ring where the water used to be. If if gets below a certain level, we won't be able to pump the water from it. Please, don't move here and plant a lawn. Embrace our desert and it's native plants.
I lived in NE Phoenix in 1976, and the population sign for Phoenix showed a bit over 500,000 residents. I was back there in 2003, and saw how it had grown. I just saw that Phoenix is now the number 10th largest metropolitan area in the US at 5,000,000 residents and near where I am now is Boston, which at 4,900,000 residents is in 11th place.
I was born in Scottsdale, but I have also lived in Prescott, as well as Flagstaff. Flagstaff is really the only place on the list I enjoyed living in. Prescott is not as shaded by trees, and is sunnier and thus hotter. I also love the Show Low area, though it wasn’t mentioned. It is a gorgeous and quiet area.
For a very large city, the Phoenix area is pretty clean compared to other large cities. Too hot in the summer however. Flagstaff is really nice but is too cold in the winter with the 7000 ft elevation. Prescott seems to be just right at about a mile high. Not too hot or too cold. Payson is nice as well. Many people in Arizona have 2 homes. One for summer and winter. You can do that here because of elevations. Unlike Michigan, where you get a nasty winters you must drive to Florida to get the warm winter temps. Here in Arizona it's all about elevation. You don't have to travel that far. Prescott is probably the nicest place to live in Arizona. Sedona is also nice, but the traffic is horrendous. There are a lot of weird San Francisco types living there, as I have been told by people I know that live in that area.

As a former Tucson resident of 27 years I think it is important to include the heat one can expect in both Tucson and Phoenix. Yes, it's "a dry heat" but it is not unusual to have temperatures in excess of 100 degrees for weeks on end. You get your outside chores done by 11:00am then get back inside with the AC. Due to all the asphalt, concrete and steel, Phoenix does not cool off at night and, as Tucson has grown so much, it too is retaining its heat in the built up areas. Be forewarned that the roads in Tucson are very rough. It's like they are more concerned with building new roads than caring for the ones already there. Just sayin'. I loved Tucson in the '70s and '80s but it got too big, too crowded and lost its feeling of history and heritage.....it lost its soul.

I’d move to SanTan Valley AZ because my mom’s friend he lives in Arizona and he is sick
What is your take on Bullhead City, Arizona?
As someone who lives in Glendale (surburan Phoenix) I would never recommend living in the valley of the Sun. Arizona is a beautiful place. Tucson, Flagstaff and Sedona are all places we visit often. All very livable. Phoenix is just to big AND HOT!
I live in MA (born and raised) and I want to move to AZ one day, so I was wondering does Flagstaff get legit snow?
I like this vid
What about Payson? I've only driven through a couple of times.
Eh Payson is too spensive & over run w Phoenix people on the weekends.🙄
Hi, city popillation is less? or show us current time video. will you share some hindu community area ?
Where is the mentioning of Lake Havasu City?
Michael Biehn was born there. Aliens movie anyone? The greatest of all times.
Regardless of the actor, the city deserves a mention on this list.
This video is really nice, but I thought Yuma was the 3rd largest metro area in AZ.
And we don't want them here lol
@@alisterfolson well if course not with all your local contacts, who'd want to ruin it for, but on the same token, stay there don't venture out of the county alot of ppl from Yuma live here in Phoenix, what kind of apples are those? LOL !!!
@@ernestchacon4928 I've only lived in Yuma 10 years. I said that because I jokingly didn't want the mass exodus of Californians to suddenly migrate to Yuma...we already have the Snowbirds lol
@@alisterfolson It's hard to rent anything in Yuma now with all the CA people coming in.
