Ive send u 30 bucks. Thanks for the video.
One of the greatest memories of my teens. I was second row middle stage, and on two hits of acid. epic.
Cosmo Ruckaz Damn man that sounds absolutely epic :o
RIP Kurt ... Your music lives on ... Thank You for the Grunge sound and the rest of the Bands that followed!
This is great! I just watched a couple of deshaked Nirvana early shows and now I finally feel like I almost saw them live. I have a much better feeling as to what they were like live.
First, Kurt dominates the shows with his voice. He screamed sang so many songs. And then the drummer whether it was Dave or Chad just pounded the songs home. Especially Dave. So it was a powerful experience. Most of the Bootleg video is so shaky that it was hard to focus on Kurt but now they have been redone and I get a much better experience now.
Thank you to whoever worked on these videos to make them better for posterity and so I can see the Nirvana live show like it was meant to be. I am forever grateful as I never got to see them live.
This was my first and last time seeing Nirvana, and what an amazing show it was! One of my absolute highlights of my high school years.
He's obviously having fun at 33:48 when he sets his guitar down on the stage and plays the solo with his foot. I've watched several shows from 1993 on UA-cam and all of them have been good, despite some people's claims that he was just "going through the motions" in '93.
His voice sounds great in 1993 and 1994.
I was there. Outstanding show, adoring crowd. Too bad I drank too much beer and huffed too much before the show parked behind Maple Leaf Gardens with my pal. Don't rememember it as well as I would like. Thanx for uploading this. Memories of a truly great band..... coming back. Thanks again.
I was at this show. Nice to know that someone recorded this.
@@mannydovethere is no problem with that.
@@mannydove what's the problem with that? You're literally watching somebody do that, just with a camcorder & not a phone.
you:rr luckx
So cool we have UA-cam for people to share something like this
I was there, but unfortunately I don’t remember much now 😢thanks for this
he was such a nice guy always waving to his audience i think that just shows a lot of character wish i could have met him
He was a nice guy, I met him after this show
@@ohnwees9190 Do tell more please... I think kurt is a legend. I was 8 at that time so I didn't discover nirvana until 1997.
I was 17, me and my friends went to the show and afterwards we hung out by the loading docks hoping to met them, Krist came out first talked to us for a bit and then said he was going to a bar with the guys from meat puppets. A while later a mini van pulled out and stopped, it was Kurt, my friends all rushed to the van with about 10 other people for his autograph once they had it my friend said to Kurt you have to met my friend ( me ) he’s your biggest fan, I got up to the van and Kurt asked me if I enjoyed the show and if I felt I got my money’s worth, I told him I did, I asked he about Frances and he said she’s great and was sleeping in the back of the van. He asked me if I was from Toronto and said he always liked coming to Canada. I’m sure there was some other stuff but don’t really remember, he asked me for my ticket stub and signed, saying maybe it would be worth something one day, I still have it, and I also have Courtney’s from a few years later. He was a very nice and regular kinda guy.
@@ohnwees9190 I'm almost in tears, I gotta admit. Thank you for sharing that story... When I say he is a legend I mean he is a LEGEND. The kind of legend that I couldn't believe ever walked the earth.. Like a fictional character that one only written about throughout history like a Mona Lisa painting or a legend like Billy the Kid or something. I had a friend that met him in Tampa, Fl in the early 90's who used to work at a club downtown.. He met alot of rockstars whom most of them were pricks. But the one "rockstar" who wasn't.. the most down to earth, very friendly and chilled was none other Kurt.
I really want to say that you are sooo lucky to meet someone that has crossed over to a new generation of younger fans whom may not have been born at the time that sees him the way I did in the late 90's that missed out on a chance to see the greatest band of all time play live. Let me ask you if you don't mind.. Where were you and what was your reaction when you found out he died?
I found out at my friends house after school, we stayed glued to muchmusic Canada’s version of mtv, it was a Friday so all weekend was just all Nirvana that weekend, showing a lot of unseen footage. I remember they played the entire concert from 91 at the paradiso in Amsterdam, amazing show. It was pretty sad time though
i was there my first concert!
was a damn good one too
I too was at this show and this was also my first concert. There was no turning back for me after seeing this. Decades later and I find myself to be a bit of an old crotchety man with regards to new music because 93-96 was one of the greatest times to be a music fan in the Tdot and the live music scene was waaaaaaaaaaaaay more interesting and raw.
same here....were you also horrified by the boredoms and though "oh god if concerts sound like this I'm never going to another one again! and then the Meatpuppets took the stage and totally changed my mind! I really wish they had an album that sounded the way they sounded that night.
I was not there, this was not my first concert!
@@thestranger8494 lol
Kurt's respect for his audience and how much they appreciated his words and music so clear here. Toronto rocks, KC & the Sunshine Band rocks forever!
Yeah
The love between Toronto and Nirvana reciprocated. Beautiful. Kurt gave everything he had this show. Toronto fans gave it back. Gorgeous!
Remember this show from the pit, best place to be. As soon as the lights went out, rushed the stage for the show of my life. Will never forget Kurt trying to chop down the angel at the shows ending.
Definitely wasnt his all..check out the oakland show. I believe he was a in a good mood.
@@revengeof1307 I agree. Of the videos of 1993-4 shows I've seen, he's just going through the motions.
The best show. Thanks.
The audience for this show was fantastic and rightfully so. Local CFNY radio station were in love with Nirvana and played them all the time. Toronto rocks all the time for quality tunage, and good interviews by people at Much Music. I think Kurt and the gang recognized this and gave us a fantastic show in return. Thank you.
Thanks for posting! I was at this show as well, my parents weren't going to let me go (it was a Thursday), but the friday was a PD Day, so I was off school. Went to the show, had floor tickets, stood about 10 feet from Kurt the whole time. Amazing show.
That's hilarious dude. I wasn't allowed to go either but I went anyways with two dudes in my shitty band and my older sister. We got scalper tickets right out front in 5 minutes. Paid $80 cash for four tickets! I must have been standing like right next to you man cuz I was right there down front too. When I wasn't crowd surfing. Lol
man i can't thank you enough for these videos, this is gold
nice recorded....the sound is very good, thanks
I was at this awesome show in '93, down in the pit area. I had just turned 22, and felt really old because there were a bunch of 8-year-olds running around.
I was 23 and right beside you having the time of my life. Seen many shows over the years, this one has a very special place.
@@manewthecat8514 Amazing.
I was right down front the whole time. I was 17.
@@cousinfeetus9589 Amazing. Do you remember a bunch of 8-year-old running around us? I felt so old at 22, haha.
@@stevenshehori8228 no I never saw any kids that young. I was crowd surfing and rockin out the whole time. 🤘😎
My first concert as well. Well, not including Bryan Adams ;)
I remember after the show describing it to my mother and she said "Why did they destroy their instruments? Surely someone else would enjoy playing them. They must have been high ON A WEED." God love her.
Your mom sounds great, haha. She got one thing wrong, though. They were on at least 2 1/2 weeds.
Id have liked his guitar to hang on my wall. She wasnt entirely wrong.
Lol
Epic dude 😎 🙌 👌...my mom used to say " George your high on THE pot again aren't you " ?
...I would reply.." why yes mother very high on THE pot indeed 🤣
Thankyou ✌🏾🤎🤟🏾
That Heart Shaped Box was godlike
I was there. I was 5 feet from Kurt. We had matching sweaters that night. Everyone was asking me if I bought it at the show.the audio on this video can't deliver what the wall of amps and pa system did, it was an insane audio assault. Kurt and the band were on their game, this has to be one of the best live shows they ever did. The ending was crazy, the feedback live was like Kurt was releasing musical demons from another dimension. I'll never forget his "flipper" t-shirt, and the smile as he waved goodbye...... Forever.
He seemed on his game, sober, and happy. 3 months later he "committed suicide"
I have my ticket stub from the concert. Do you?
Crazy I had similar experience in San Diego , the ending he was producing this insane sound and the energy was so insane , they jammed at the end and Kurt was screaming random words, it took me almost 20 years to figure out i guess it was a jam they were working on, everyone was shocked at how powerful the jam was
after the breakdown part in drain you, i fucking love how kurts voice sounds
reading some of these comments from people who were lucky enough to be there, i am so jealous, i was born in 91 so never got to see them, i would gladly be 20 yrs older so i had the chance to see them.
I was 5 ft from Kurt, and this was the first show I ever crowd surfed at. You can't see in this video but down front was a fucking gong Show. Endless crowd surfing partying and doobies
this concert happened on the day I was born! this is why I'm proud to be a 90's kid
they played lots of shows I'm sur lots of ppl had birthdays on concert dates, same with every band out there, i don't think thats why your proud to be a 90's kid, your proud to be a 90's kid same reason I'm proud to be a90's kid ! cuz nirvana was the biggest and best band to come out of the 90's ! started the so called (grunge) movement, or rather made it famous i suppose ! and above all they live on forever and the best and my favourite band of all time ! when i was younger i wanted to be just like kurt he is the classic image of a rock star and he did it his own way super original also part of the reason he was so famous
arguably the most famous musician of all time. definitely of
our time thats for damn sure
youre a 90s baby, not a 90s kid. you missed the good part of the decade.
You're a 90's baby. I was born in the 80's so I would be considered a 90's kid.
I still have an unused ticket from this show.... anyone want a seat in the Reds?
@Goggle products You're a psycho

Kurt was the white Jimi Hendrix. Check out Monterey '67 and Reading '92: Kurt writhing around w/ feedback sqealing...
Im so happy to come across this!!! I was at this show! ! I still have my ticket stub ....RIP Kurt :(
Thank you for this document!
Kurt’s fit in the show was goated
i was there i was 8 yrs old my friends dad took me and my friend to see them blew me away
You are soooo fuckin lucky my guy. I was 8 in 1993 as well and didn't know nirvana existed until I was 12. I regret not having mtv in the early 90's where I would have at least discovered this amazing band. I still live with this anger for not knowing who nirvana was when they were around, instead in 93 I knew who was fucking vanilla ice. Again since we're the same age and you got to see nirvana live is awesome bro.
I'm just getting into their stuff now. I'm obsessed. I have such a crush on Kurt. My family are concerned. ... but this was a great audience too. And a great sound. It has an intimate feel for such a big venue. I live in the GTA and I've seen many concerts in the old Gardens. I'm 63. lol
I was at this show! I was 14 and snuck out of the house to take a 2 bus ride!
i borrowed a car from a friend and drove in from Kingston, without tickets. I'll never forget this night.
I was 17 and was not allowed to go, went anyways with two guys from my shitty band and my older sister. No tickets. Got scalper tickets after puking my guts out from drinking Southern comfort on the drive, paid $80 for four tickets and got tickets in less than 1 minute after getting out of the car. His last four he just wanted to go home. I was right down front 6 ft from Kurt the whole night, it was an absolute audio assault, that can't truly be represented with an older video or any video for that matter. Nothing can reproduce what came out of those stacks of amplifiers and the PA system. First time I ever crowd surfed. Got kicked out of the house after going to the show, I didn't care. It was totally fucking worth it. I'll never forget that smile Kurt gave as he waved goodbye, forever.
I was there was too. Boy time flies.
01:10:40 - You know, I've seen or heard Kurt on drums a few times before ever seeing or hearing this recording, and I just want to say, I don't know if he was sober at this show, or if he was high or drunk..... but if he was sober, damn he was actually good on drums! Like, other examples of him screwing around on drums before this, you would get the idea he had never picked up a pair of sticks before and was going off just watching other drummers or something like that (that was the impression I got, anyway), despite knowing he had started with drums before he ever picked up a guitar. Anyway, just my random thoughts, like I said, I don't think I ever even gave this show a listen to before now, despite knowing it's been circulating among bootleg traders for well over 10 or 15 years.
i read that Kurt played the snare in his school band, if i remember right
Born and raised in Buffalo New York I feel like I am half Canadian used to be so easy to travel over that bridge that was only 5 minutes away. Good job on syncing AUD#1 with AMT#1, unfortunately something must went wrong with remastering the video. It looks worse than the original and is stretched to 16:9.
I like to leave 16:9
Wow...great performance! Never saw or heard this one. I like how Dave plays the drum beat to PiL's "Four Enclosed Walls" when they come out for the encore. I saw them twice on this tour, Springfield, MA and Fitchburg, MA, and at both shows Kurt threw his guitar at the disco ball above the stage at the end. Hit it at the second show! LOL...wild to see him wreck the anatomy angel here. NIRVANA RULES!!!
It's Kurt playing the drums
Oggi, 20 febbraio 2022 Kurt avrebbe compiuto 55 anni, purtroppo non c'è più, festeggerà in cielo tra gli Angeli, angelo egli stesso. Ma sarà sempre nei nostri cuori! R.i.p. Kurt....🌟♥️

its a great song and it made them famous... this happens with all bands when there best hit comes out the fans just wanna hear that song cuz its the only one they know ... and then start to like the others. but it wouldn't be such a huge and popular song if it wasn't great. and i thin every nirvana fan knows this fact, we just hate to hear about nirvana fans (typically new fans) cuz thats all they talk about, and i think every band has fans like the nirvana fans who go on about smells like teen spirit, and then talk shit about the (fake fans) who just fiend the biggest hit ......... At that point, the band and a number of fans of the band were fed up with the song because it had been so overplayed.
SLTS could ruin the show. So, better don't.
Kurt left it off most of their shows because he felt the fans only loved Nirvana for just that one song which isn’t even true at all Smells Like Teen Spirit is a great song and it’s what gave the band their start there’s more to Nirvana than “Teen Spirit” songs like Lithium, Dumb, Heart-Shaped Box and even Come as you Are
