Don’t need any equipment but love watching gear videos.
Same here. That makes me feel a little less nerdy 😅
Just here for the engagement and pocket turkey bacon 🦃
Hey dawg I heard you liked bindings, so we put a binding recommendation in your binding review, this way you can get the recommended bindings while you are getting the reviewed binding 😂
Bought these recently and yea not bad at all, toe strap could be bigger for sure cuz I had it lift up over the toe few times
your videos have been great help over the last couple weeks. Went on my first trip in over 20 years on Thursday, with my son who has now been 2 days in the last month. Looking to get a set of bindings and boots for my old board, as I no longer fit my old step in boots. I'm over 40, out of shape, and a heavy guy... so I won't be riding hard down double black diamonds or hitting anything big as far as air time... but, I do want something above the total beginner level as I do like a bit of the lighter single black diamond riding, glades and such...blue runs and carving at a decent clip on the groomers... I rode Thursday on a 150cm Solomon rental board , and was able to make do, now I need my own boots and bindings that will be at least a solid step or two up from those ... would these STR be a good option? Any recommendations on an affordable lace up boot that might be a decent fit for wider feet? Thanks again for the videos, cheers
Best boot is the one that fits your foot and fits your needs, you're going to have to go try on everything to see what works. STR's a good progression binding but as we're about to hit full sale season might want to see what's on sale that's one step above it.
Would be interested to get your thoughts on the regular Burton Cartel and if they still stack up. I've had mine since 2021 and this years model looks identical. Wondering if it's time for an upgrade...
The Cartel is leaps and bounds above a beginner binding like the STR.
Do you think the Strata with the minidisk is going to break on me if I am a bigger guy? 6’2” ~215lbs and I got the Union Strata on sale to hopefully be my only binding for the next few seasons. Should I return them and get one with a full disk? Or is that just a problem on the Flites because of less durable construction? I appreciate your insight. Thanks.
I think you're over thinking it.
How do you ride all these so early? Were they advance versions from last spring or last year models or something else?. Isn't copper not open until november?
Angry Snowboarder is like a Santa Claus, he works in mysterious ways.
Ya they get next years stuff.
You buy 1 1983 DMC Delorean from some guy in a lab coat and suddenly you can do magical things.
Straps straight from the '21 Force, where the toe strap also sucked. At least now it's sold as every level gear.
new to snowboarding, bought this binding in a L size because i usually wear a size 10.5 shoe but i recently learned that most snow boots you want to run smaller, will the L be too big of a size to fit a lets say 10 or 9.5?
The Large in this is huge.
I have these and so does my mate, somehow he managed to snap his inner heel strap in half.
Thankfully I missed out on a set of these, no wonder they were so cheap.
I'll stick with my old Force bindings.
I'm gonna put a ride c6 on this puppy as recommended
Step up to the A8s
Just ordered these 2 days ago, but Lind of got scared about the minidisc snapping off. I’m 6 foot 9 245 pounds. Did I make the wrong choice with these? I ride the ride warpig
Oh just realised STR and strata is not the same. Got the stratas
Would this or the Ride C-6 be the better binding for more park focused riding with the occasional harder carving session?
C-6
@@AngrySnowboarder Cheers!
So STR vs Ultra vs Force to do it all at 215lbs… which should I buy?
Force.
Anyone riding dual BOA boots and are they better than just laces?
Dual? Triple only!
I’ve union STR bindings , A 10 binding's. Dancehaul
Shadowban. Taking both boards on a trip only one binding. Which one pair’s best?
Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum there. Whichever fit your personal preference. A screwdriver is an easy thing to use.
Exactly my dilemma. I would buy an inbetween but lift pass over products, I’ll take the soft ones break then replace
Obvious answer would be STR's Dancehaul A-10's Shadowban, but frankly I think just running STR's on both would be better. A-10's are a little overkill.
What's up with the music man?
Last years version of these are the worst bindings I’ve ever had an turned me off for union forever. The toe strap popping off for you wasn’t random, it happened to me dozens of times before I was able to sell them. I had a plastic pair of Solomon bindings from a decade ago that kept me more locked in then these
