Hi Avran, I plan to buy RIDE Deep Fake for next season. Which bindings do you recommend? Union FORCE or RIDE C8? Thank you for your reply. Great revisions.💪🏻👍🏻
Sounds like these don’t absorb impact any better than the atlas. I thought I was gonna love the atlas but the toe ratchets don’t release well and the Flad doodad only moves on one high back and my joints hate em on hard bumpy snow. Kinda regret buying them and was hoping I could swap for these but maybe I need to look at the bataleons/Rome to get response and shock absorption.
Excellent bindings when it comes to feel and control. But the quality of the heel straps are quite bad (both of them broke after just one and a half season of use). Also the adjustment for the heel is great, but after a long day of driving it mostly loosens, actually it stretches from position 1 to position 2 no matter how much I tighten the screws.
The only way the heelcup will move is if you’ve filed it down to create slotted fixing points. The aluminium doesn’t stretch to allow the bolts to move.

@@AngrySnowboarder which would be best if I want just a little stiffer binding to progress to steeper terrain
Force.
@@AngrySnowboarder 🫡
@@Briguydude The Cartel X is a better choice. I have them and these new Forces and the Cartel X is stiffer than the Force and both are better than the Malavita, which I had for a few seasons, IMO. These new Forces are nice, but I do wish they were slightly stiffer, laterally. The highback is fine. But you do get more lateral flex in the straps compared to the Cartel X.
Great review as always! I snagged a pair of these and looking forward to seeing how they perform.
On that ladder misalignment / not climbing issue… I experienced a very similar problem with my front binding on last years Union falcors. Like you said it did go away eventually once it broke in more, but took longer since I don’t unstrap the front foot all that often.
White ribbon next month 🤘
Snow Tuesday through Friday with the possibility of over a foot. Betting we're shredding CO WROD in a week.
Would you recommend the union force or rome katanas for a agressive all mountain rider?
Dealers choice.
Whats better? Rome Black Label or Union Force?
Yes.
Would these work well on the 24 Salomon Assassin Pro? (Size large on a 156 board)
Might.
@@AngrySnowboarder ok
How would this compare to the A-8 from Ride?
The A-8 is going to be a stiffer binding all around. -TC
Thank you for all the informative reviews and videos 🙏
I just changed my board from Rome artifact rocker 2012 version, paired with Rome boss 390 to GNU finest 2024 to have a more all mountain freestyle setup. I was wondering if you could recommend some bindings to pair with the GNU finest to get a more playful feeling to it, i love hitting side jumps, 360, 180 and just buttering and constantly trying to do ground tricks while exploring the resorts. Cheers ✌️
Slap these on it
What's the difference between this and the classic? Thanks!
Everything.
@@AngrySnowboarder really?? force or force classic for an all mountain and occasional park?
Force all day.
@@AngrySnowboarder cheers!
Hi Avran,
I plan to buy RIDE Deep Fake for next season. Which bindings do you recommend? Union FORCE or RIDE C8? Thank you for your reply. Great revisions.💪🏻👍🏻
I'd bump up to the Atlas at least if I did Union. Otherwise C8 is fine.
What are some similar bindings from other brands?
It's almost like we need to put a comparable binding section at the end of all of our videos.
How does the Force compares to the Ultra??
It’s stiffer, more responsive, has more adjustability.
It's better than the Atlas in my opinion. You should also look at Nitro if you're looking for better dampening.
@@AngrySnowboarder oh yeah they got that air bag! Forgot about that.
Sounds like you prefer the ultras over the force
I’m a size 10 boot, what size should I get
What boot?
@@AngrySnowboarder lasso
Medium for sure.
@@AngrySnowboarder heard. You don’t think the baseplate will be too small?
Go grab a large, shove the boot in there, then put it on the board and see how much space that takes up.
I’m stuck between these or the cartel. Pros or cons of either?
Cons it's a Burton. Pros it's unibody construction. Con you join the fanboy cult. Pro it has more adjustability.
Have a warpig.
Force, atlas, strat?
Force.
Ended up going with the ride c6, fun ride
This or Ultra for rad dads that will do an even split of all mountain and park?
This
You're the man, Avran. Thanks!@@AngrySnowboarder
This or the malavita?
Sure.
Yo! I need a little bit more Angry with my Angry Snowboarder vids.
Купил,крепления сами выглядят классно,но мне кажется крепления носка не очень надёжным 😅
If its not tested with K2 Thraxis boots ion wanna hear it 😤
Been on Union for years. Just got Union force for this upcoming season. Really debating returning them and going with CLEW.
Do you hate your life?
Excellent bindings when it comes to feel and control. But the quality of the heel straps are quite bad (both of them broke after just one and a half season of use). Also the adjustment for the heel is great, but after a long day of driving it mostly loosens, actually it stretches from position 1 to position 2 no matter how much I tighten the screws.
How the fuck did you get 1 and a half seasons of use out of a binding that's been on the market for less than a year?
The only way the heelcup will move is if you’ve filed it down to create slotted fixing points. The aluminium doesn’t stretch to allow the bolts to move.
21/22 model 🤣@@AngrySnowboarder
Mate, they had a complete overhaul in case you didn't notice... stay on topic or mention that you got the worse old one
@@hilmijakuburano longer an issue with the heel cup loosening. My wife has 22/23 Force bindings. They fixed that.
That seemed forced. That man never felt forces and hates all you Union fan boys. 😂
Where the fuck you been the last 6 months?
Apparently way out of the loop.
