The Sumeru quest Khvarena of Good and Evil and the current event quest really expanded on Fontaine lore. We now know that the previous hydro archon sacrificed herself during the cataclysm to seal the Sign of Apaosha and that the Oceanids went on a pilgrimage to find her but failed so they were lost and scattered throughout Teyvat. The current event has a lot of interesting lore, Idyia herself was lost in the desert and as a hydro elemental she was very likely in danger of dying. It was then the mage described in the play showed up, played by Klee, was actually Alice herself. Alice gave Idyia a bottle to house Idyia as a domain, much like our Teapot. This act of kindness saved Idyia, however she was still at a loss since she lost her Archon and the home she once knew. But as shown in the play, a bandit showed up, played by Kaeya. The bandit came from a "land where the light did not shine, where all suffered in the darkness", and the bandit followed the light of the bottle hoping to bring light back to his city. The bandit represents 2 things, the first is easy to understand, he represents all the people lost in the desert and found hope in Idyia's bottle. Idyia might have lost her own hope, but she has now became an oasis in the desert, a symbol of hope for those once lost. Idyia is literally a genie in a bottle granting the wishes of those who visit, although just in the domain. In the bottle, all dreams can come true, and everyone who left brought with them new dreams and inspirations back to the real world. Every character besides Idyia in this domain are memories of those who has visited, Idyia maintains all of them as they are all treasured friends and memories of hers. Also all the characters have blue hair and are mean to her because they are her own memories but seen through her own insecurities and social anxiety. Even though in the ending cutscene everyone is shown to love her, she saw herself in a negative light, she thinks she is useless but she isn't, she inspired and saved many people. I personally believe that the Fontaine rollercoaster inventors might have been from centuries ago and might have ended up creating whatever would become the rail transport of Fontaine we have right now. The second more intriguing thing that the bandit represents is that Kaeya might be representing Khaenrianhs whose land has literally lost their light to the abyss with their people suffering in darkness. Khaenriah also tried to steal from the gods, which is why Kaeya is playing a bandit. Idyia might have brought refuge to Khaenrianhs at some point, maybe there will be a follow up to this in future stories.
While I do think that Bandit being feom Khaneriah is a really good guess, I also think the bandit could also be someone from Enkanomiya, considering we've learnt that the bottle is powered by a Relic from Watatsumi Island. I doubt Kokomi is the only person from Watatsumi that ever searched for it, and it is very likely that they had tried to retrieve the relic the moment it went missing.

Firstly the most obvious thing is that Alice was the person who made this bottle domain with the Casket as the source of power, the ability to materialise dreams. Which means Alice somehow got her hands on this artifact all the way from Watatsumi, did she steal or borrow? Unclear. Secondly, the Shinrou Casket is said to belong to the youkai Shinkirou/ 蜃気楼, 蜃気楼 means Clam Breath Tower, it is a very unusual set of words but it's the actual noun for "Mirage" in Japanese. Myths thought that sea fog creates images of floating castles on the horizon and this sea fog is said to be from the breath of clams, which is why these floating castle mirages are called Clam Breath Towers. And this is why the domain is a mirage of floating towers/castles in the air, fleeting dreams that disappear once you leave. The idea of fleeting moments in time being precious is one of Inazuma's main themes. The last thing is that if you remember the battle pass cutscene, there's an actual clam that tricked the sibling and lured them to the abyss, this is very coincidental and might just be a generic likeness. But because both the twins and the origin of this bottle domain were within the time frame of the Cataclysm, there's some plausibility of connection.
Also the allegory of Robbin hood with the bandit is fitting. If Khaenri’ah want the steal from the rich ( aka the gods of celestia) and give to the poor the rest of Teyvat. It’s very fitting as Khaenri’ah was trying to defy the laws of “FATE” in Teyvat.

@@uvamus9264 @uvamus9264 I indeed do agree looking at how Dainslaif said that there will a secret shared to us by the god of war , it might as well be the big start towards the ending but the reason I think fontaine maybe the slight start is because in the overture teaser there is something along the lines "because for the sinners the curtain call has come" and looking at how the last archon quest we did was Caribert which was completely about the sinners I think they may be correlated but of course this is my mere speculation.

That is likely the basic premise in some way too. A "minor" [or set of 'minor' infractions] thing leads to suspicion which leads to a part of the Fontaine legal system being shown to us via actual legalities (maybe possibly compared to how we left Ritou and then got legal status in Inazuma and the vision hunt excitement/hype before it was resolved) from nearly the get go.

And a deeper delve into its history and the truth: as the hydro archon supposedly is a supporter of Celestia. Perhaps a glance at Khaenriah and the Abyss with whispers of our twin. As both are intertwined with Celestia somehow. Celestia may move (appear to be over the next nation after Fontaine is at peace/balanced) as a 'guide' for us as the traveler/player on the one hand and maybe in universe in time somehow lead to where/how the final confrontation will play out after all 8 nations and Celestia. That latter is many steps, even beyond Fontaine. But if you just think of what Celestia has been in game despite being background yet, it is hardly a minor thing.

@@ridwanahmed1793 currently got every oculus other than dendro ones. hopefully to maximize pain/funny we are required to max all statues and collect the remaining oculus to unlock celestia. only then will we get a realization that all of teyvat was chapter 1 and as we wait there is a message saying to go outside and touch grass. would make the story a true 10/10 with a badass seal of approval.
With the amount of map revealed we have now it's kinda easy to pinpoint where Celestia is with high accuracy on the map. . I actually went all around the map borders looking directly at celestia with my character and then drawing straight lines with markers from 9 different points from stormterror lair all the way to sumeru desert. . It's not 100% accurate since not all lines meet but all the lines aim pretty close somewhere north of sumeru
I’m so excited for Fontaine. With the possibility of Celestia crumbs and the whole theme of Justice I have a feeling the story is gonna be epic! Also the music is so good and the region is so pretty. It cannot come soon enough aha.
I have a feeling that something HUGE is going to happen during the Fontaine archon quests, something that will permanently change the trajectory of our journey. Something like the dropping of a Celestial nail (although I don’t necessarily think it’ll be that)
Yeah, I like that she tries to pronounce foreign words correctly, Narzissenkreuz she did not, though. She pronounced kreuz as "crew", as if it was French, but Narzissenkreuz is German. Narzissen (daffodil) + kreuz (cross), so kreuz would be pronounced as "croytz"
"Fleuve Cendre" is a french term so i got a bit trigger at the pronunciation (sorry i know french can be hard). You can translate it to "Ash River", "river" is the translation of both "fleuve" and "rivière", but a "fleuve" is bigger than a "rivière". In France, "la Loire" is a fleuve and "le Loiret" is a rivière, the second flowing into the first. With that exception, the video is a really nice way to prepare yourself for Fontaine which is coming in a month :D

In Mondstadt, it was already a book that people have read and own old copies of. Iirc, we got it from Amber. In Liyue, we found it during Xinqiu's story quest. It was available with other popular releases in the book stall. It gets interesting in Inazuma though. The book was released during the Iridori festival. Klee made a picture book to accompany her mother's "new" release... It was one of the new releases by Yae publishing house. So that means, aren't we getting closer and closer to Alice's current exploration? Could it be that the Sumeru edition is still under work? So that could mean that Alice is in Fontaine/Sumeru. We know Alice told the Bottleland lady that her daughter is coming and all. But I don't remember her mentioning HOW Alice contacted her. Could it be that Alice actually was in the Bottleland? All of these could simply be due to Sumeru not yet being completely released. As in, not to talk about the region until it is fully released. But we got the Liyue one way before Chasm was released. Multiple people have calculated Celestia's exact position from different places, and it's above the place where I thought Fontaine was originally gonna be: Next to Lyiue's mountains. Sadly, Fontaine is gonna extend north from the last area we got (the desert above Khaenri'ah door) so not only we can't access it easily like it we should've been able to, but also we won't see Celestia

*friendly spoiler for Dirge of Bilqis world quest from v3.4. . . . . . that was actually City of Gurabad's energy system after the new king went into power. He stopped all forms of human slaves, but used the Jinns to become slaves instead to power up the underground water system and machines in the desert. Ofc this was pre-planned by Liloupar to overthrow the king's reign, generation and the kingdom. P.S. more info about the slave system are also hidden within certain notes/pillars. You can watch Klementine's youtube summary on this lore. It's very complex and disturbing!

Maybe the original name from its' source is pronounced that way, but the English translator obviously thought it would be too difficult to incorporate it in every other line so they simplified it to fit English language better. The Guides are usually written by Alice. It's possible that because of the Withering she couldn't visit all the places around the nation.

In Mondstadt, it was already a book that people have read and own old copies of. Iirc, we got it from Amber. In Liyue, we found it during Xinqiu's story quest. It was available with other popular releases in the book stall.
It gets interesting in Inazuma though. The book was released during the Iridori festival. Klee made a picture book to accompany her mother's "new" release... It was one of the new releases by Yae publishing house.
So that means, aren't we getting closer and closer to Alice's current exploration? Could it be that the Sumeru edition is still under work? So that could mean that Alice is in Fontaine/Sumeru.
We know Alice told the Bottleland lady that her daughter is coming and all. But I don't remember her mentioning HOW Alice contacted her. Could it be that Alice actually was in the Bottleland?
All of these could simply be due to Sumeru not yet being completely released. As in, not to talk about the region until it is fully released. But we got the Liyue one way before Chasm was released.

He stopped all forms of human slaves, but used the Jinns to become slaves instead to power up the underground water system and machines in the desert. Ofc this was pre-planned by Liloupar to overthrow the king's reign, generation and the kingdom.
P.S. more info about the slave system are also hidden within certain notes/pillars. You can watch Klementine's youtube summary on this lore. It's very complex and disturbing!

Maybe the original name from its' source is pronounced that way, but the English translator obviously thought it would be too difficult to incorporate it in every other line so they simplified it to fit English language better.
It is as if you parents named you Candace, you like and keep that name throughout your life, and then some fool comes and calls you Kandake just because it is the origin of the name (yes this is also a jab at idiots who pronounce Candace as Kandake).
