If you don’t know what your niche is anymore, reinvent, and film yourself reinventing. We all hit that era, when we lose our purpose and need to pivot and re-strategize. Film it- it’s SO relatable. Maybe it’s time to go back to school, or find something that you’re passionate about and really dive into that. You love women and woman things- Find a way to empower yourself while empowering other women. Alisha said you guys donated all of that Parallel Apparel stuff to a woman’s shelter and that was really meaningful- expand on that. Start taking a few classes and go from there- you’ll figure out what your purpose is- you just don’t have to figure it out overnight. You have time! And after all is said and done, if all else fails and content creation doesn’t work out, you’ll have established a meaningful career that you can fall back on.

Before my boyfriend and I started dating (we now live together)we had very tough conversations about money, raising kids, respect and just anything and everything you can think of. My only advice to you would be (if you haven’t already) to talk to your boyfriend and discuss the roles you see the both of you playing in your relationship. If money is something you are concerned about right now and that’s what’s preventing you guys from moving in together then I would explore that more with him. Personally I think he should be the one to do everything in his power to make you feel like you can rely on him to make moving in together happen. The reason I say that is because you have such a good living situation going for you. I wouldn’t leave that unless a better offer for you comes along 👀 I mean that with the most respect but as women do what’s best for you always 👏🏽👏🏽 I say all this as someone who was also living with my family before and my bf made sure that if I was going to move out with him that I wouldn’t have to worry about paying rent or house bills. ❤️ I haven’t seen anyone else bring this up and I hope you read this ❤

I’m late to the game and there are a lot of comments here so someone might have already suggested something like this. A series about you getting out of this funk and finding your niche. No clickbait, trendy videos. Honest vlogs where you’re giving it your all, sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding but no matter what, you’re being true to yourself and to your audience.
So personally I'm in my 30's and I got lost, now am rediscovering what I'm capable of but also what I want to actually do instead of just being in survival mode. Could you do a kind of "starting a journey in your 30's series" could you try for social media marketing, consulting, editing, show that journey or show behind the scenes podcasting planning, L.A. living, struggles of getting around the city people don't normally see, local spots tourists don't know about etc. ...but the hard part is being consistent, not over editing, and just getting content out there so you can start getting back in the algorithm graces and get that push if you're wanting to continuing that. But if vlogging drains you where uploading once or twice a week PLUS doing other socials and the podcast would be too much, then that could be a sign it's time to shift out (mental health over all else❤). Example i thought about doing vids & documenting how I quit corporate in 2020, helped my husband start his business which i worked for too, on the side i did social media marketing and boutique consulting, got to go to the boutique summit in dallas last year and see the wholesalers and all 11 floors of the dallas market😍 and be an assistant buyer on that trip. I started my own store in the hemp dispensary industry had to fight with my state (TN) weekly and they still don't have answers and their new laws hit on July 1 with still too many grey areas that were scary so I decided to close my dream store, I'm in that hell right now😢. I have so many vids and pics and could show my journey, but my mental health and now physical health are too fragile. I have a face for radio and i know it, i can't get past it, so now I'm looking at corporate part time. Sorry for the novel, you may never see this but you're one of the creators that is my comfort watch to lower stress🫶. Good luck on your decisions and you are a joy to watch❤.

Ideas: trying Amazon kitchen gadgets or Amazon clothing try on hauls, learning how to cook new foods or trying new foods / restaurants/ snacks, have Instagram choose how your day goes by asking this or that questions (we can choose what you wear, eat, where to shop, what make up products etc for the day) that’s always fun. And I know school lisha is over but I truly see you doing well at short skits like when giving advice when doing sit downs or in general- nothing crazy or extravagant)things of that nature! Keep being you and your gifts and talents will help / reach more supporters! P.S. Since you enjoy girl talk, helping women and motivation you could incorporate answering questions or giving advice for specific topics that your supporters suggest while you shop, cook, eat, and do hauls! Before my boyfriend and I started dating (we now live together)we had very tough conversations about money, raising kids, respect and just anything and everything you can think of. My only advice to you would be (if you haven’t already) to talk to your boyfriend and discuss the roles you see the both of you playing in your relationship. If money is something you are concerned about right now and that’s what’s preventing you guys from moving in together then I would explore that more with him. Personally I think he should be the one to do everything in his power to make you feel like you can rely on him to make moving in together happen. The reason I say that is because you have such a good living situation going for you. I wouldn’t leave that unless a better offer for you comes along 👀 I mean that with the most respect but as women do what’s best for you always 👏🏽👏🏽 I say all this as someone who was also living with my family before and my bf made sure that if I was going to move out with him that I wouldn’t have to worry about paying rent or house bills. ❤️ I haven’t seen anyone else bring this up and I hope you read this ❤
I've always wanted to see music related content from you and Alisha after finding out that you both play instruments. Maybe talking about your past with instruments, how you learned, how would you go about learning today (maybe include your mom??), challenges (e.g. trying to learn a song in 1 hr). Ofc not a complete shift in content, but maybe an "edge" in the lifestyle space. Also, passionate about women could include spotlighting different charities/orgs that support women's needs so maybe something in that realm.

I’m late to the game and there are a lot of comments here so someone might have already suggested something like this. A series about you getting out of this funk and finding your niche. No clickbait, trendy videos. Honest vlogs where you’re giving it your all, sometimes failing, sometimes succeeding but no matter what, you’re being true to yourself and to your audience.
So personally I'm in my 30's and I got lost, now am rediscovering what I'm capable of but also what I want to actually do instead of just being in survival mode. Could you do a kind of "starting a journey in your 30's series" could you try for social media marketing, consulting, editing, show that journey or show behind the scenes podcasting planning, L.A. living, struggles of getting around the city people don't normally see, local spots tourists don't know about etc. ...but the hard part is being consistent, not over editing, and just getting content out there so you can start getting back in the algorithm graces and get that push if you're wanting to continuing that. But if vlogging drains you where uploading once or twice a week PLUS doing other socials and the podcast would be too much, then that could be a sign it's time to shift out (mental health over all else❤). Example i thought about doing vids & documenting how I quit corporate in 2020, helped my husband start his business which i worked for too, on the side i did social media marketing and boutique consulting, got to go to the boutique summit in dallas last year and see the wholesalers and all 11 floors of the dallas market😍 and be an assistant buyer on that trip. I started my own store in the hemp dispensary industry had to fight with my state (TN) weekly and they still don't have answers and their new laws hit on July 1 with still too many grey areas that were scary so I decided to close my dream store, I'm in that hell right now😢. I have so many vids and pics and could show my journey, but my mental health and now physical health are too fragile. I have a face for radio and i know it, i can't get past it, so now I'm looking at corporate part time. Sorry for the novel, you may never see this but you're one of the creators that is my comfort watch to lower stress🫶. Good luck on your decisions and you are a joy to watch❤.

ash, many of us have been consuming content longer than some current it girls have been alive. i really think that content for ladies in their 30s is becoming more niche and so needed! our priorities, bodies, styles, etc. are so different and I just cannot relate to young influencers. i am constantly looking for women to follow who are also in their 30s - single, dating, married, childless by choice or mothers! our community. i think content that feels true to you will resonate to those of us who have been following along for years and growing up with you xx
i wish you good ashley 🤎 i loved your honesty and you beaming talking about your future with jackson in this video. my video idea is if you make a series called “trying 25 new things” and take us along with you. for example, if you’ve never done pottery, try a pottery class for the video. you can mix the editing style or keep something cohesive. you can also name the series something like “trying ___ new things at ___” with your age inserted. OR, it would be fun to see a “starting new” series from you where you have girl talks, vlogs, theme videos, about who you are right now, what you no longer do or are, what makes ashley happy right now, and making it a point to make the content about trying new things or about doing the things you currently like/do that past you didn’t etc.

Yes protest your king at all times Ashley, because the moment you let people on the internet in on your relationship you'll start getting alotta unwanted opinions from strangers thinking they know you both and are in the relationship with you and when things go 🍐 shaped you'll feel obligated to explain stuff to the net why it ended etc. It gets harder to just move on quietly atp it's the one of the main reasons why relationships of couples who vlog on yt typically don't last long but hopefully he may warm up to the idea of not minding being seen when you both move in together but regardless either way he is one lucky dude.
