- Did the Tiger Oscar fish make it through his first 6 weeks in the 180 gallon aquarium? In today's video, we give a full update on Billy Donovan's 180 gallon cichlid tank, specifically highlighting the three new cichlids, the Oscar cichlid, Nicaraguan cichlid, and the Vieja synspilum.
Coach Donovan has been wanting an Oscar for a very long time, but we needed to make sure we added the a healthy one that wasn't too big to start. In the previous video, we added the Oscar and worried that he may not make it in his first few weeks of acclimating to the new tank and tank mates. Luckily, the Oscar cichlid has thrived in the new tank and really held his own against some larger cichlids in the aquarium.

Who doesn't love an Oscar? Mine hated my girlfriend. He used to slap the side of the glass to spray her with water whenever she got too close to the tank.

@@CichlidBros nice. That Cichlid will get up to close to 10 inches maybe. I have one at 4 inches and just full of energy.
My Texas cichlids won't let anything live with them. They're a breeding pair and kill everything, I hate it! It's nice to see a couple that aren't so mean lol
