Daily reminder that the "Members" of this band were for the live shows. Jon Oliva composed, wrote, and played every instrument himself on this album if memory serves. A MF Legend
Matt Laporte definitely did studio guitar and wrote some licks on all JOP albums. They're old friends. Laporte also was founding guitarist of Zack Stevens' Circle II Cirlce. One big sava-family if you will. But ya, Jon wrote every song, sang, did keyboards, and some bass and drum tracks as well.
@@qayss8977: Got to see this live in 2005 w/Matt Laporte. Up front stage right. Killer show.
@@chrissttiiee VERY JEALOUS. I was in ATL at the time, and they played within a car's drive twice that I had tickets for, and each time a weird/random life event derailed my plans. LOL my brother, who is a sound-gig guy, bumped into Jon Oliva before a TSO show last year and chatted him up for an hour or so, so I guess that kind of makes up for it ;)
@@qayss8977 Awesome 👍
I'm convinced that Jon had a dream and wrote the song gimme some helll. So he had to form a band to explain the song

Do not look here if you are looking from savatage (the 80's period). this is Meat Loafish on all fronts.
There's TONS of Sava-influence all throughout this album, and a drum or keyboard track from a random song on this album will be three times as creative as Meat Loaf's entire catalogue, and I even like me some Meat Loaf.
Its not prog metal -_-
What definition do you like best? Metal Opera ?, or maybe Symphonic Metal, maybe Progressive Symphonic Metal? Hahahahahahahaha
Ok. Here is your candy 🍭
Thanks
I call it kick ass fucking heavy shit!
