im listening while im staring to this painting and im traveling there,
it feels like something primal, a known feeling....
this is a rotting christ album and this is a spiritual experience.
with teary eyes i know that i'm so lucky because i lived the same era of this legendary band.
The painting is about the Fall of Rome, they picked a good paint for what they've done.

@@Aenarion_Godslayer Unfortunately (for rotting christ) it’s already been an album cover at least twice. They should have done more research, but meh. Rotting christ is awesome nonetheless.
@@triumphant39 unfortunately for you the painting have been used more than 5-6 times by different bands, but it does it matter? i dont think because its on on public domain every1 can use the paintings of thomas cole
@@manosensethe music does it so much justice though. The art work feels so relatable considering the times were in atleast here an America. Things are falling down here. I truly think if things keep going the way they are we are going to be the next great civilization to fall just like Greece.
As an Irish person, and pagan, this album couldn't have come out at a better time!!

A few weeks back I took a trip to see these guys. The trip was long and tiresome but worth it. Their show was so good I'd rate it as one of , if not the best live performances I have ever experienced,they played with the passion and energy of a band in their prime.

Quite the phenomenal album. An absolute masterpiece.
Like Father, Like Son is a highlight for me. Makes me think of my grandfather who I lost last year. He shared so much wisdom with me. In my own mind I dedicated that song to him.
I saw these guys for the first time in New Zealand and as much as id hate to say it. it was a religious experience to hear the Apostate being played live. it was truly epic. i felt like that would be the opening to a march to battle.

I listened this album twice in a row... and yes it was created with passion and darkness. Few bands have this power to give me these emotions and Rotting Christ after all these years has done it over and over again. Clearly this is the best album since Sanctus Diavolos. Songs like "The Farewell", "The Sixth Day", "La Lettera del Diavolo" and "Pix Lax Dax" take me to the other place. This album is 9/10! Thankyou Rotting Christ! Thankyou for keep the flame of beauty in darkness alive.

The Sixth Day makes me feel like I can't die under any circumstances while listening to it. Awakens something as ancient as death itself, but I'm not sure what.
