I remember having this on Banzai Records in Canada in 1984-85. This is Savatage at their best - I love this EP!!! True 80's Metal! 'Power Of The Night' was good but 'Dungeons...' is way better...short but sweet! Hail early Savatage - Hails from Canada!

I met Jon backstage at Iron Maiden in 1984/85.. i already had this ep and Sirens and he was so happy I was a fan, he kinda adopted me for a short while ( I went to FSP and left fla when I e.o.s.'ed).. every time i went to a show at the Power station in tampa, he would come over and sing to us... I also hung with Keith Collins when he started his own band Krunch... i was a lot younger and they were really nice to me... kind people I have a lotta stories :)
So I had invested my fortune into a line of Unijeans marketed and sold by a company called Totally Unique Retro Designs. They were supposed to be the coolest threads. Fresh as fuck. You show up at the club in Unijeans you break the scene. Anyways, they were jeans that had the left and right leg sewn together into just a single pant leg. They also sold a line of custom Genuine Reptile Leather boots that had built in heely wheel and light up LEDs in a range of patterns. Much like the pants they were designed in such a way to fit the Unijean and allowed for the left and right foot to fit snuggly in a single boot. Well, I bought in. I clearly remember looking at myself in the mirror before hitting the club. Fresh ass Unijean. One of a kind GRL boot. Had a nice button up shirt tucked in. Solid black belt. Had a bitchin Stetson hat on. Had a giant rhinestone on the front, some fancy bead work around the sides, and a fox tail hanging off the back. So I was at the club. I hopped in. I made a scene all right. Everyone was looking at me. I hopped to the record machine and posted up. Saw some honeys walking past. Gave em the ol wink and double finger gun point. I guess that was a bad call, because without using one hand to steady myself, I fell over. I knocked into someone's table, spilled drinks everywhere. The entire club stopped. You could hear a pin drop. Well, after that, it was deafening laughter. I tried to get up, but it's next to impossible in a Unijean. I had to crawl out like an earthworm. Inched my way out to my car, covered in booze and shame. Unijean went out of business the following week.
When this EP an Sirens were finally merged as one complete album, it's an atrocity that this cover art was not used instead of that ridiculous "Borribles" book cover ripoff. And the whole compilation's title should have been defaulted to TDAC instead of Sirens.
