Just purchased the Xiaomi Mi band 7. It's replacing a Garmin vivofit 3 that died after many years of daily use. Awesome video, thank you.
I'm glad I could help! Enjoy your new band
I had the vivofit 3 and thought it was awful, had to charge it every 3 days and it was well buggy, genuinely think my previous mi band 4 was better! The vivofit band was also way off with sleep and under active on my steps if my hand was still while moving.
How's the watch now
@@lucutes2936 Its great. I wear it daily and literally forget it on my wrist. Tracks my sleep really well. Only I forget to actually go into the menu on the watch for when I work out. My old Garmin just knew somehow what exercises I was doing. This one you actually have to go in and select an activity. Hope this helps 😉
Bought the Xiaomi Band 7 a few days ago as an upgrade from Mi Band 4, and I'm loving everything about it! Only the battery life is a bit shorter than I initially anticipated. On my first charge, it lasted 5 days (with AOD turned on from 4 PM to 8:15 PM and 24 hours monitoring on) but I guess some factors like syncing watchfaces, and a firmware update contributed to it having a shorter battery life. I'll see how long the battery will last now. All in all, they the Band 7 features a lot of value for what you pay. It's practically between a smartwatch and a fitness tracker. I bought it for $42 here in my country, and it comes with 3 months of warranty as part of Xiaomi's ECO lineup products.
I also like the quick reply feature present both in Xiaomi Band 7 and the Mi Band 6
The older Mi Bands had better battery life, but the newer ones have more functionality and bigger screens
How's the watch now?
Helpful review thanks for posting and good luck with the channel 👍
Thank you so much and I'm glad I could help!
exactly what I needed, thanks!
Glad I could help!
Excellent video review thanks for posting it. That said, me personally I will be staying with my MiB6. I just don't think the MiB7 is ready for the United States or any other country for that matter. It's basically set up for the Chinese market. I love my MiB6 and unless they update the MiB7 I'll just wait for the MiB8 to come out.
Agreed. Zepp app counts sleep data better than mi fitness.
I thought Matt Hardy is now reviewing fitness bands as a sidejob lol. Great comparison Sir. I have a Mi Band 4 for 2 years now and I am thinking of upgrading to the Mi Band 7.
Helpful. Good luck.
Nice review dude. I have the mi band 4 but will probably hold off another year in the hope that they bring NFC and or GPS to the Mi band 8. Can you still link the band 7 with Zepp, even though they push you over to the Mi fitness app?
You can still link with the Zepp app. I only used the Mi Fitness app because that is the one there QR code sent me
Apparently Xiaomi band 7 pro has gps and NFC.
I have my hands on that band right now, but the US app didn't allow me to connect to it
Does the mi band 7 allow the use of its timer app while monitoring workout eg Freestyle training or Indoor fitness at the same time? Great video!
When you start a workout you will get a total time from when you started the workout. You can't use the timer app while doing that tho
I'm looking at getting my first fitness watch which would be the better out these two for me .I do alot of weight lifting jn the gym and a little bit of running do these track blood pressure aswell
They do not track blood pressure, but I think you will be very happy with the 7. Hopefully that was helpful
Do they have alarm clock?
You have an awesome voice!
Thank you for that!
Does the sport modes on mi band 6 tell the actual stuff or is it just those bands that work when you shake your hand? I'm new so I'll need a reply quick
I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Could you clarify?
you are so cool make some more vids of tech
I appreciate that. Trying to put out as much as possible
Using 6 for like a year maybe a bit less it’s pretty decent I do have to say there aint any usable watch faces unless you are a anime fan , im
not.
so customizing wise I dont like it apart from that it works well , one time it froze and i had to go home wait till it died put it on charger and it never happened so ye.. but if you buy from xiaomi its pretty common things tend to fall apart😒
Den ambrous brother nice👍
I'm glad you enjoyed and I'm happy I could help
Does the workout informations of the band syncs with the phone even you did not able bring the phone to your workout ?
You will not get accurate data for the pace of your run but it would work without your phone. Of course no music on it
@@FitnessWithFrost thank you for the response
I'm glad I could help! Good luck with your fitness journey
I am new to this, can you tell me when I do weight lifting, do I need to pause each time im done with a set or I can just stop after im done with my whole weight lifting session.
I'm trying to figure out what you mean by your question. Have you never used a band to track your workout?
@@FitnessWithFrost nope never. So on minband 7 when I select workout press streanth, did 7 reps after I'm done do I pause the timer or continue to get it run until I'm finished with my exercise for example bench press
It's really up to you. To be honest it won't really mean to much in the long run. It will never know how much weight you have on the bar so just keep it running during the entire workout and don't worry about it to much
@@FitnessWithFrost ok cool thanks
i got the 6 for 29us to try as a first fit band thing.
But i kind of don't like it at this moment.
if possible.
*I'd like to remove the clock display completely.
*have only the HR/02 as the main display.
*and when training etc, an option to have an always on display, & monitor in realtime (like how you would grab the sensors on an exercise bike).
*delete the the stuff i don't use. (weather/steps/row/music/messages etc)
*Maybe have a swipe to a boxing time (or other select app).
*Tilt to turn on display.
I think that you can customize it in the app.
the music choice was very good... may I know what music was used in this video?
I'm glad you enjoyed it. What music where you speaking about?
@@FitnessWithFrost i was speaking about the bg music on the intro... May i know the name of this music
I am going to need to find that name somewhere. Your not the first one to ask
I have one question do mi band 6 track weight training in gym ?
What do you mean by that?
Will the 7 fit into the 6 straps? Thanks.
It does. It is a bit tight but it does fit
@@FitnessWithFrost thank you
NICE.....!!!
Glad I could help!
thanks!
No problem I'm glad I could help
Does it have vibration alarm ?
It does
I've seen a lot of lag with the display is it really noticeable??
enough for me to pick the mi band 6?
If you're taking about the 7 they did an update and it's much better
@@FitnessWithFrost I was talking about the MI band 7, and with your
confirmation I will buy the mi band 7 :)
I think you will enjoy it. Good luck on your fitness journey
my MI band 6 bracelet won't measure my cycling without my phone on me. always prints must be connected to the phone (both bluetooth and location must be turned on). I've tried everything and it won't measure me while I'm riding my bike without my phone. Someone to know about this ?
Some bands do have that issue. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?
@@FitnessWithFrost I didn't, but I don't think there's any of that it's a shame, the bracelet is great, and I'm mostly on the bike and I don't want to always carry my phone with me..
I'm glad you enjoy the band. I wish you the best with everything else
can mi band 6 track jumping rope?
Do you mean count your reps?
@@FitnessWithFrost yes,if not then if i just keep it wearing whole day without selecting any particular sports mode and i do my workouts ,will it still count calories burned?
It will not count your reps sadly. You would just need to pick something like other workout for that to have it track that workout
5 A6 days with always on isn't to shabby at all
Definitely not going to see anything better at this price point
@@FitnessWithFrost don't think there is many on the market who do better isn't it? Maybe a Huawei watch? But they must have a bigger battery as this
6:12 lol
Mi band 7 the best
It is very good. A great recommendation
How accurate is the 6 when it comes to calorie loss?
They are going to be about the same. Accuracy on calories lost is a tough metric to fully vet out to see how accurate it actually is. The only thing is to use it as another form of data to help you
