I am going to watch the entire OBS Studio Master Course on your channel, & implement things straight on my OBS. Thanks a ton, such a detailed explanation!
Brother, you have helped me out so much, just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work! My stream would be nothing today without your guidance and videos. Peace!👍✌
@@TheVideoNerd hey man, nice i watched the whole thing without skipping. But i'd like to know how do you switch scenes, from your recording webcam to wider webcam then again switch to your windows ?
great videos bro love them very helpfull I have uploaded 3k+ vids to yt and stream alot and loving these settings for streaming and your recording vids aI adjusted to yesterday, i felt my previous game vids didnt have the quality I wanted and I have uploaed many yesterday i tried your settings for obs recording so so far excellent quality
yes thank you so much for even taking out the time to doing this from year to year we all know that things do change and new updates or add on is always added so thank you and it's clear
Subbed and Liked buddy, great info your actively teaching me how to stream my Mass murder of Noobs once Ashes of Creation launches... I wish I would have know all of this when I played ESO thanks keep videos coming.
You can stream on UA-cam for lower bitrate (Full HD 4Mbps) since YT compresses the quality anyway. This video is mainly for Twitch streaming and that should be mentioned in the title. Otherwise, a good video!
Looking forward for your 2021 version of streamlabs obs video! Also if you do that, please explain what’s the Low Latency mode and enable new networking code in the Network settings in the advanced tab!

Hey Thanks for going in depth about the AMC encoders I feel like a lot of videos skip that since Nvidia is more common. I have dual PC setup with a rx580 on my streaming PC. My upload speed is a little less than 6mbps but I’ve found that lowering my stream FPS to 48 helps me stream at 1080. When I try 60 FPS my stream becomes choppy.
is there a way to check if you configured OBS for steaming or recording? as would rather make sure I have my setting I currently have for recording and then set up my streaming settings but cant remember what i selected when I installed OBS a few months back.
Re: Video settings... you set yours up to have the Base resolution and Output resolution at 1080p. I game at 1440p, so I will scale down to 1080p (I assume I would set my base res to 1440p, and my output to 1080p, on the Output tab)... what is the best Downscale filter to choose in OBS? And also, in the Video tab I can set that downscaling... but also in the Output tab there's a checkbox for downscale... should I enable the downscale in both spots?
Is it better for you to record a gameplay and face cam all in obs / or do you prefer to record a gameplay on obs and record a face cam separately using the camera itself without attaching it to obs ? Hope you understand my question:)
Glad I found your channel! Would you do tutorial how you make your video so crisp? I'm running my Sony a6400 with Sigma 16mm 1.4/f which I believe it's good enough. However when I record or stream it looks like nothing alike against when I'm recording just on my camera without using OBS.
Hi, thanks for the video, if my display resolution is 2560 x 1440 and this is the resolution I run my games, what should my Base canvas and output scaled resolutions be set at? TIA.
I know this is very late but for anyone wondering; you can use base resolution "2560x1440" and output resolution "1920x1080". Downscale filter "Lanczos".
Hey, I've been looking at tutorials on both SLOBS and OBS. I have a very good pc with 32 gb ram and the newest processor. I also have the RTX 2060 and I still have problems with it lagging. Even when i only have it opened (not streaming) I can see its very laggy. For me this make no sense since I have more than enough upload speed as well. So idk what makes it laggy. Just got like a PC for almost 2k and I'm confident that the pc is not good enough. Please help.
Hello, first of all a great video! I have a question related to the video quality. For some reason when I started streaming today the only video quality that was possible to use for viewers was 1080p. Normally there is 160p, 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p. I tried to solve this issue by restarting my PC but the issue wasn't solved. I also disconnected and reconnected my Twitch account from obs studio but without success. Any idea on how to fix this? thank you in advance.
great video. Thanks man. Best beginner explanation on yt.
I can't believe how in depth you get, and continue to pump these videos out! Great job man!!

he has a video about how to get better webcam quality here : ua-cam.com/video/6w8-PEAGTT8/v-deo.html
when you stream that's normal, but recording should be pretty good. I have a recent obs recording tutorial, you should check that out :)

I believe only twitch partners have this option now. Pretty odd I know
