For anyone interested - the understeer has since been fixed. Getting the old AD08RS’s off and the Cup 2’s on has completely transformed the car! 😅
Would a new set of AD08rs have rectified it too? Or are they another jump?

Idk, AD08 got good reviews elsewhere. Can't rule it out completely I suppose, but the way the tires squeal on every slight turn in, seems like alignment / suspension setup. Anyway, was still pretty fast :)
George I think your facial contortions reflected what many of us would do! It's when you see the speed and think that's motorway speed (in the UK) and he's going into a bend! Great performance from the car tho and as you both said a few easy fixes to give it even more capability. All the best, Kevin

Not that I'd look any different, but the owner looked a bit nervous throughout the lap and seemed quite relieved when it was over that he didn't die.

Very nice owner. Love the fact that his car is almost stock but has corner wait done to it. A good setup is important. Put a Torsen, more camber and some good semi slicks and it will be a rocketship.
Absolutely. Especially on a powerful FWD I WISH I could give people an experience of their car with say, a Quaiffe LSD. Its the top 2/3 best mods for any fwd car with more than 120hp/ tonne. Arguably , as you say, tyres, suspension, then maybe differential.
I've done ridiculous power thing but on a track there's no point if cornering is horrible.
I miss the mix, onboards and vlogs, but you can't please everyone. 😊

With a better allignment, LSD and 320-350hp and better tires, this thing would really fly. Looks like a really good chassis already.

For 260hp and problem tyres it drove epically well,power to weight ratio. Imagine u did a fiat uno turbo 😂😅 but this was fun
Mischa mi tendency is to forgot things too when I am doing too many things at same time . One easy fix . If you have an iPhone use the phone calendar immediately as you have the idea to do something and write down a memo immediately with what you have to do like “call back David” and you set an alarm fo when you know you will be free, like dinner time or so . Doing this changed my life

Would try replacing the tyres first to mitigate the understeer and lack of traction. AD08RS' are not the best

The currently produced Advan Neova is not a very good tire... The old models were the best budget semi-slicks.

You should look up the tires that the GP2 comes with from the factory. They are basically road legal semi slicks that were developed specifically for the GP2. They make a big difference if you ever get to drive one with those tires 🤙

it's funny since the R56 from 2007-2009 had an option to fit a factory LSD. I have it on my Mini Cooper S from 2008 :D

A completely stock gp2 is a wonderful thing to drive. Seems like the alignment didn’t have enough camber to take advantage of the 200tw tires AND the stiffer rear sway bar may have made the front end less willing to stick. Kinda disappointing lap with this GP2 😢

Even during road driving, I notice the open diff in my Cooper S every day. It really is just stupid that these things didn't come with an LSD, they REALLY need one.

That's the fun part of the fitness journey. Unlike missing a lap in a dream car you might not get to the opportunity again, there is always the next work out because it's not about the single day when it comes to fitness it really is about the journey as a whole. Also a fitness channel could be a fun spin off cause it's something you are legitimately passionate about. Star Wars Theory just did a fitness channel spin off as well cause he used to power lift. What ever you do, just be passionate about it. It's what I love about this channel.
