I drove a Ringfreaks Golf GTI right after the N24 in 2023. I even had Ignas as my guide for two laps, he's a great guy. The reservation process and check-in are as easy as he described. One thing he didn't mention is that Ringfreaks gives you a new balaclava to wear under those helmets. You also get a copy of the Go Pro recording looking over your shoulder and out the front window. This includes a map showing your location on the Nordscleife, and the KPH speed and RPMs.

For someone like myself that lives in a next country and wants to drive on the Nurburging before I die, this is really informative, not sure about my drivers license but thank you

Thank you! Very interesting video. I have a question: Where can I drive a selfmade racecar which is not street legal?
Is it allowed on trackdays? How are the rules? Where can I find them?
    Thank you

Thank you! During Tourist drives 100% not, but on some trackdays it is allowed to drive non-street legal cars. But in my opinion - it is better option to choose smaller tracks with more run of area, as well with closer pits. In case if anything goes wrong - you can fix it much faster and be back on track.

Thank you, that's of course better. Unfortunately I find it hard to get the information I would need to make the right decisions regarding my plans to build an amazing machine. Because it wouldn't make sense, if I can't drive it legally and if it is not allowed to take part in races.
Ideal would be to build something that is street legal. But where can I find all the regulations or somebody who knows all that stuff regarding street legal racecars?
I would really appreciate it, if you could help me or maybe get me some contact to someone! 🙏🏻😃

My experience: If u meet Ringfreaks or Rent4Ring rental on track, be extra, and I mean what I say, be extra extra careful when overtaking them.
Reason u can see at 2:00. No checks if ur capable to drive the Nord or that specific car or know the rules of Nord or just basic rules of driving on a racetrack.
And another thing: Whatever happens, by German law ur always at least 25% guilty. I repeat: Also when it´s 100% not ur fault, ur 25% guilty

This is a bit of a disingenuous comment. These are not particularly high horsepower cars. No other rental company requires an instructor lap for cars at this power. R4R does for Alpine. Your drivers license is reasonably assumed to suggest sufficient driving ability, for these power cars, on TFs.
Youre zero’ing out 2 particular companies for a policy all of them have. None will require you an instructor lap in a
