Singapore 🇸🇬 Changi International Airport was the First International Airport to Operate the Giant Airbus A380s of Singapore 🇸🇬 Airlines first A380 at 2007.
Malaysia represent! Kuala Lumpur International Airport can definitely accommodate the A380, seen with Emirates, Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines which holds the record of the WORLD'S SHORTEST A380 FLIGHT!
Airports that invested for 380 the country have benefited from increase traffic through the airport that’s benefited the local community of the cities it operates. Let’s be honest some airports specially those in the states are overdue infrastructure investment to keep them competitive to their Asia/Pacific and European counterparts
It could land at Shannon. Shannon has had the Antonov An225 land there numerous times and used to have Aer Lingus Boeing 747s going to and from the USA. I'm not sure it'd have the gate and jet bridge infrastructure for it though, so regular commercial flights involving the A380 wouldn't be possible. Especially now that they will eventually be phased out.
I guess the A380 can land even to the biggest airport in Greece. Which is Eleftherios Venizelos (ICAO:LGAV). It can Land in both of the 2 runways that LGAV has. (RW 03R/21L 13,123 & 12,467ft for the RW 03L/21R). In the 2nd biggest in greece (which is Makedonia at Thessaloniki) can only land on Runway 10/28 (11,286ft in lenght). Cant land at LGIR (Nikos Kazantzakis Airport at Heraklion in Crete island). The other airport at Chania (ICAO:LGSA) can spare like 400ft it after landing (10,982Ft).I guess the airports at athens and thessaloniki are the only airports that can fit it there (since they're big ones).🤷🏻♂️
MCO - my home airport in Orlando hosted A380’s from Emirates, British Air, and Lufthansa on more than one occasion. Usually at Christmas! While not scheduled regularly, those 3 airlines have upgraded from their 777’s and 747’s to match customer demand.
For all you Karen’s out there, spell check likes apostrophes. At first I took them out, they came back, I left them. I figured this group should be smart enough to get it. Guess I was wrong!
It's been proven that the biggest wear on runways is Ryanair 737 landings.

That A380 Landing was beautiful. Magnificent A380 is always the site holder.
Yes
I just got off of it (second trip on Qatar Airways-Bangkok to Doha). 😊
Ngurah Rai Airport become the first Airport at Indonesia to Serve Airbus A380 commercial flight 👍
Interesting stuff. Thanks

Looking forward to seeing if Global can make the A-380 pay. I guess they'll need some good premium cabins, to bring in the dollars and pounds.
Very nice video, thx. I hope A380 will return to PRG soon. 😊
My local airport holds a380s DFW
How many unscheduled airports actually have the ability to unload passengers from the second deck?
all. there are stairs between upstairs and downstairs. however its not very efficient.

And bloody inconvenient.
The question: in case of emergency all airport strip of 2.500m LDA are disponible for A380 in Max Reverse. The other hand are PCN of runway.
Excellent 👏👏👏👏👏🙏
The most safe plane you can ever fly
With demand meaning A380s are required for more routes than expected, I wonder if there's any operators regretting withdrawing the 747?
No the 747 were old and uncomfortable planes, no passenger regrets the loss of these old worn out planes.
@@christianbayerstein5243 Even the newer 747-400s and -800s?
@@warren6815 which newer 747-400? They are 25 years old or older.

Aren't they going to be around for the next ten years or more?
It technically is possible for it to land at dublin airport too. But airlines have never tried it
Emirates, Qantas AND Singapore!

The New Manila International Airport in Bulacan scheduled to be fully operational by 2027 will handle the A380.
In Florida, I believe that at least MCO (Orlando) and MIA (Miami) can handle A380s. Possibly no others?
MIA does have regular A380 service. I believe MCO is able to handle them if necessary. I don't believe any other places in FL can handle them.
RPLL/MNL Could operate it at night 😆🤙
Vancouver International Airport could handle the Concorde at one point
I hope it does not phase out or retired earlier.
Nice
Sorry to say, but Nice in France can’t accommodate the A380. 😂
Angeles could operate the A380 better than the capitals airport which is Naia
Manila handles non passenger A380 flights they are mainly for maintenance handled by Lufthansa Technik Philippines.
