I was pissed at first by how small the burger was. That ended up being one the best burgers I ever had.
Best you've ever had? That's too bad.
I used to work at Shake Shack. Their burgers are very simple to make. Don’t let these people act like it’s so special.
I think that’s true of all the best burgers (no McDonald’s here). The real secret is great quality, fresh ingredients. After that, it’s all about how you like your burger.
@@codacreator6162 Thats for all food. You cant make good food out of shit
Tell us about the smasher they use please.
Simplicity is key to a good burger.
Thank you! NOT!!
Out of every fast food restaurant I’ve been to, the Shackburger is definitely my favorite out of all of them.
Probably most expensive?
Casual dining...fast food is half the price...🤣
You haven’t been to In N Out have you?
@@andrewyaghnam6153 Yes
@@andrewyaghnam6153 taste wise I think Shake Shack is more flavorful. In-n-out still makes a tasty burger at a better price though.
So technically we still don't know why shake shack's burgers are so delicious
annoying when people click bait like this
butter and salt yw
They literally told most of it except for the recipe
Soft bun, cast iron instead of grill, best beef, smash at correct time, shake sauce, and salt n pepper.
Do you just make comments, or do you watch the videos?
@@deasttn I genuinely don't understand these people
Just had my first experience at Shake Shack last week and let me tell you it was amazing. Can't wait to have another!!!!!

Thanks for sharing 👍
I never heard of this place and now i need it
I did not expect somewhat of a recipe out of this video. Thank you from someone who doesn't live in New York.
They taste wonderful!!
Great food at Shake and Steak glad they are opening again!!!🇺🇸🐻
Did they close down to COVID? I’ve never been; I’ve lived in Australia since 2010.
@@livelyupmyself1 nah their still going
I stopped at a Shake Shack one time and I was not impressed at all when the person behind the counter took my shake out of a freezer and set it on the counter while I waited for a sub-par burger and soggy fries.
They didn’t even take the time to make the shake at the time I ordered….. it’s called SHAKE SHACK! Why was I given a premade shake??
And when I asked the answer was, “Well we are very busy.” I looked around and there were five people in the place and I was one of them.
I make better burgers and fries at home, I am sure I could make a better shake than they do as well.
Just had them for the first time at icon park in orlando after being at volcano bay all day. Super busy and they seemed under staffed seeing as it was a monday. Only waited 30 mins between standing in line and actually getting our food. I had a double with cheese fries and some chicken bites... maybe the best burger i ever have, chicken bites were chic filet level good all while being fresh and definitely hand breaded in house.
"Hand breaded in house" 😂 absolutely not. You really enjoyed those frozen chicken chunks loaded with MSG did ya?
We all knew. They were never shy of sharing their way of making burgers.
I just bought brioche potato buns. And it is great for burgers.
Love the video
Just got hired @ Shake Shack let’s gooooo
Just be sure to watch your weight and don't eat too many lol
shoot for the stars
Got an interview with them this Tuesday 😬
Have fun
I have 2 hours formation tomorrow then a test the same day, tell me how it is please
Haven’t had them yet but the style of burger is a smashburger which has the most Flavor of most burgers because you get the caramelised top and bottom I make them at home all the time and taste better than any burgers I have made
Have you had one yet?
For me shake shack and five guys are phenomenal. Best chain burgers I've tried
Taste like any other burger
What I want to know is why these burgers are made so small but yet are so expensive
I have not been to a Shake Shack. Looks good!
haha secret ingredient *coughs* msg *coughs again*
Really?

I'm getting so excited cause we are getting one close to us.
Best burgers ever !!!
Next to Hodad's in San Diego this is the best burger I've had ....went to the original in NY
This video made me SO hungry my mouth is literally watering , but sadly we don’t have a Shake Shack around here 😩 (Michigan)
Come to nyc
We definitely have multiple shake shacks in Michigan. I’ve been to them!
Seriously? Where are they, around Ann Arbor or Detroit ??
@beverly there's 1 in Ann arbor, 1 in Detroit, and 1 in Troy.
@@alexswindles3063 they say this is a big rich town
"Doesn't fight you while you're trying to eat it" 😂 🥊🍔
Yeah I hate always getting a black eye anytime I go to mc donalds, I have to bring an ice pack for after
Very lucky to have a Shake Shack in town. Great burgers ... but the fries? Eeek. May want to try a few flavor tricks with them.
My favorite!
I work at shake shack, a lot of this is inaccurate wtf lol We don't use cast iron skillets, we use flat-top grills. We don't season our burgers before we smash them, its right after, and we only season that one side.
I feel like this was done on purpose to keep people from knowing how to make the burgers correctly. I was confused watching this, because it's so wrong
!!! This, i was scrolling through the comments to find someone pointing this out. Imagine all the skillets/burners they would need to have! I'm cackling
Using way too much salt
Their chicken sandwiches are on a whole different level
Damn, I'll have to try! Just had their burger for the first time a few weeks ago and was a fan for sure
Had their chicken not a fan of it, haven't tried the hot dogs though.
Definitly not the video i should watch during Ramadan fastig 🤣
It’s the Martin buns that do it! I buy those with wahlburgers burger beef and grill ‘em for 3.5 min a side and it’s perfect!
I have to try this place
We need more chop-meat man! Give us more chop-meat!! Feed the masses Mr. Shake Shack! ara arar araara
Ok, ok, the burger is good and I mean good. BUT, it's the sauce for me! 🤤🤤🤤 I douse everything in it. ❤
it's 1000 island dressing if you need to buy it...McDs is same "secret sauce"
@@andrefecteau Nuh uh? Really... is it? I've had the sauce from McDonald's but shake shack's is better. 😊
@@redfoxxvampette475 pretty much bro...now Mickey D's has adulturated it since they are so corporate but essentially that is what they use if you are trying to make this at home...or a Reuben..fresh 1000 island is delicious, it gets a bad rap but Shake Shack gets it right apparently
@@redfoxxvampette475 by the way it's just ketchup, mayo and sweet pickle relish mixed up
@@andrefecteau No relish in it whatsoever in the Shack Sauce. Its very similar to 1000 Island Dressing yes, but no relish and it uses mayo as its base. Not sure where they get Dijon Mustard being in the recipe with cayenne pepper cause I don't taste any spiciness as they claim.
Wish we had these burgers in Australia
The beef blend is the key. Equal parts short rib/chuck/brisket
Don't wait in that ridiculous line if you're in NYC. Schnipper's down the street is way better for everything.
Tried it once, and I called it: "delicious" = salt. Genius!
1/2 cup of kosher salt sounds a bit much does it not? 😅
They mean to get the ratio of salt to pepper ahah
It’s in the shaker not 1/2 cup of salt per burger
They have them in Minnesota. That's certainly midwest!
Wish they'd come to the midwest!
There’s 1 in KC and 2 in St. Louis MO!!!!!
I wish they would come to Australia.
There's a couple in Illinois, but I don't care for them. They are super pricey and food portions are small.
@@hellopolly2691 Bettys burgers is the same thing
U guys are Lucky… in Germany we got at least McDonald’s 😂
The inaccuracies are stunning. This channel is the FOX news of food.
Cherry pepper is the best thing about it
Literally just made a shake shack video and all I see on my feed is shake shack 😂
Good burger sauce
Crust builds trust
Having watched them make a burger I saw no cast iron. It's cooked on a standard steel flattop.
Bro I work the grill at a shake shack, and we don’t use cast iron.
@@andrewchampagne9167 That's what I said.
@Andrew. Bro, you work the grill at shake shack.
Carbon steel and cast iron cook very similarly. Get the surface hot enough, and you can make an amazing smashed burger on either.
Smashed patties always the best
I just went to Shake Shack for the first time today and I must say their burgers are way better than IN N Out! 😂
Best patty I have tasted so farr
No shake shack around here but they look awesome. I can almost taste them through my screen :-)
Hands down my burger
Just had shake shack for my first time it was good, but I think the bun is too soft, really the burger doesn’t have different textures, none the less it was still good. I would definitely go back, and the shakes are bomb
shack sauce, as we call it, have 11 ingredients.
Recupere pliss
Danny knows now it done!
I love a smash burger in a cast iron, but I also love a fat burger over coals. Depends on the day I guess.
Tried their cheeseburger 3x's and didn't think it was any better than your local mom and pop. To each their own, but I'd take The Habit and In n Out over Shake Shack.
That's the thing what other fast food makes a burger like a mom and pop= none but shake shack and add thier sauce that's it.
@@davecurry5604 true that. I just wasn't feeling it. I mean it's obviously better than McDonald's, burger king and Jack n The Box, but I don't personally think it's better than In n Out. You have a Farmer Boy in your hood? That's one of the Southern California chains that's probably my go to.
@@lions208436 Greg I agree wish we had a in and out in NYC and those shake shack prices sheeshhhh
@@davecurry5604 I hear ya, everything is getting expensive.
Half cup of salt and have teaspoon of pepper? Stroke waiting to happen lol
Thats just meant to convey the ratio....I dont think they meant it per burger xD
My new idea shake shack in Iowa, Omaha, Charlestown, Charlotte, and north dakota
👍👍👍
I love shake shack but the problem is we dont have a shake shack in switzerland 😢
I've got to be honest, I've had Shake Shack's "ShackBurger" and I was not impressed for the money spent. I've never had BurgerFi before but I can promise you Five Guys makes a better burger than Shake Shack which sells super expensive, middle of the road burgers. I know this is going to sound crazy.... but I'd rather have Wendy's "fresh/never frozen" "Dave's Single" burger. That's $5.99 and the "ShackBurger" near me is just under $7. I'd have to drive out of my way for a burger that's near the same tier as Wendy's "Dave's Single" burger. This is coming from a person who was eating burgers 3 days a week for an entire year. I had my first "ShackBurger" and my initial reaction while eating it was: "Meh, I wouldn't drive out of my way for this undersized, overly expensive burger". I've since had their "Chicken Shack" burger too. It costs $8.29 near me. Not even as good as KFC's chicken sandwich for $5.50. It's just the facts.
this tells us nothing
I’m eating it rn
Went there at an airport for a quick bite before flight. It was beef crack.
I use a bacon press to make my smash burgers.
What lettuce do they use
In and out burger 🍔 and shake shack are delicious 😋 ❤️
Pity, after seeing this delicious video, that there are eyes and snags after eating these burgers. Because everything is freshly prepared, but you can focus your whole life on junk food. Every now and then it should work, but not every day. This is at the expense of your health. Too bad, but it's no different.
Butter and salt does the trick. Maybe Soylent Green.
1/2 c of kosher salt for 1 burger?
Ummmm.. no. That's got to be a script error.
That's way too much salt.
I think there was no error. They meant a mix of 1/2 cup of kosher and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Combine that ratio then sprinkle some of the combine seasoning on each side of the patty.
@@zonedout5998 I dunno...1/2 tsp is literally a pinch. 1/2 tsp in a 1/2 would almost completely get dispersed
The bun is the silent hero
I know know how Franklin Barbecue does it, Beef Tallow.
It's so good but cost literally twice the Burger Kings, McDonald's, etc in our area.
Wow! very nice Shackburger. very delicious. I like it very much .Thanks you for haring video
BS!! My wife and I went to shake shack and for a single burger they wanted $5.69. If you want cheese, you pay more. If you want bacon, you pay even more. "F" that!! We went to another place and are so glad we did!!
The Double double would win in a fight anyday 😂
Her after every 5 sec *MARK ROSATTEEEEEEE
Anyone know who the culinary director of Shake Shack is?
Shakeshack vs In n Out, who's better?
Never had it.
Shake shack vs. In N Out...
And go!
They're expensive and just ok. Mashed is full of it.

Watching Shake Shack burgers while fasting Ramadan
You realize they're made with.... pork.
Even when I was stoned I still didn't care for there hamburgers
burger itself looks like a dried up piece of burned shoe leather. If I'm going to eat a burger out then I like the Sonic regular #2 double cheese, their onions are great
Lol that’s so much cap there insane
@@porkbelly0713 I've had both, you owe it to yourself to try shake shacks. The meat itself is just better, actually the whole thing really. I don't care for their fries so much though but their cheese fries are very good! Happy eating!
@@porkbelly0713 if you cant afford Shake Shack just say that. Cap is not necessary
Sonic over shake shack....please off yourself.🤞🏽
Just ordered a burger from here. Will give my thoughts under comments.
It was good not great. Definitely better than the generic McDonalds or Wendy's. Was honestly expecting it to flop but didn't. I somewhat enjoyed it. However, it's pricey so I'm not ordering for a second time. Does not beat restaurant quality burgers in taste nor prices if you know where to look. For example, I know a restaurant that gives amazing Medium Temp bacon cheese burgers with fries for $9.99. The equivalent to this on Shake Shack is an average Well Done burger with bacon add-on with fries for roughly $13. No thanks.
I’ve had shit shack food before can’t compare to in and.out burger in California
Yeah right! In and out is a greasy stamped patty. You’re crazy dude…clearly.
Can’t beat in & out bro
@@hoodieg8555 you know it

I think halalbees in queens and Brooklyn has much better burger than shake shak. I know some ppl might even like what’s halalbees but I highly recommend you to give them a try..
The burger from shakeshack tastes like ground steak
I ate at shake shake here in singapore. Terrible. I make my own now.
You can eat a shake shack burger without teeth, just pure gums thats how soft it is
No it's not a half cup of salt per burger... Jesus that wouldn't even taste like burger. She said the ratio of salt to pepper. With a SPRINKLE of this seasoning on each side
I don't even get why people really thought it could be 1/2 cup of salt per burger lol. I mean it's comon sense.
They served me a sad af burger which was literally just a patty between buns, not even cheese or sauce..
She said half cup of kosher salt. I did hear that right, yes?
Half cup of salt and half teaspoon of pepper….. perfect ratio!
So then why am I paying 30-45$ for a pat la Frida quality burger at some snobby resturant in Manhattan when I can just get the la fraida quality shake shack?
