    @2:10 It is not 30-40 grams heavier, it’s 186 grams heavier, that is a massive difference. It weighs 836 grams, against 650 grams for the Minelab 15x12’’.

      @@stevejames9510 I am thinking the 15" inch round coil will be a strong performer. Your opinion?

      @@stevejames9510 That's great, 6" coils are awesome. And one of my videos I worked around a palm tree for 90 minutes kept pulling up targets including a silver ring that had been there for a long, long time. The ability to sort out what I was looking at was certainly helped by the small coil. I'm hoping this COILTEK coil will be more resistant to EMI - which occurs at some beaches in South Florida because of all of the nearby human activity /electronic emissions.

    Good that, couple of questions, answers may be obvious but no such thing as a stupid question, 1 does the coil tek cover more ground than the minelab coil? 15" - also is the circular coild better than the epi one?
    2- why buy off a different company from the manufacturer, I'm assuming the original manufactures coils would be better and more compatible than that from an outside company? thanks Oh - also does this mean Minelab will cheapen there products to compete or I am assuming the the second hand market for minelab coils will be great for buyers...

      There will be a full review coming up shortly, this was just a quick intro to answer a few questions.
      I do however talk about depth compared to the stock Minelab coils early on in the video 👍

    I will stick with the standerd 11 inch coil, caint be doing with more weight its a sod to swing as its, coil heavy terrible balance why did minelabe not do the vanquish 10 inch coil for the nox perfect,

      In the end that's exactly what I did, the 11" is a great coil.

      I’m with you too. I’m not swinging anything heavier than the 11. I had high hopes for the 5x10 because I love the elongated 5x8 Garrett AT gold coil but my 5x10 suffers with depth. Barely grabs a silver dollar at 5” so it stays home

      One more point to ponder: I like my nox 800 and 900 for many reasons but the truth is I’ve found WAY more cool valuable stuff with my Garrett AT Gold. WAY MORE

    You got your weights wrong,the Coiltek coil is 836g to Minelabs 725g.
    So 111g difference!

    • @HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting
      @HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting  4 роки тому

      Which coil were you referring to?
      The weights I gave out are the results of me weighing them on digital scales.

    • @HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting
      @HiddenHistoryHuntersDetecting  4 роки тому

      The CoilTek 15” I was sent is 770 grams, the production ones are listed as 836 grams. So possibly the later productions ones may have gained some weight. I was reporting on the coils I’ve had for sometime now. I will grab new production one and weigh it.
