- This new-for-2014 B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) wing coaster stands 131 feet tall with a top speed of 62 mph and features five inversions including a dive drop similar to the one found on The Swarm at Thorpe Park and GateKeeper at Cedar Point as well as an Immelmann, a corkscrew and the world's first Demonic Knot. which looks like a tilted pretzel loop, but features two inversions. The Demonic Knot is formed by an inclined dive loop going directly into an inclined Immelmann. The inclined elements are positioned opposite as if one is the extension and mirror image of the other.

It never fails; every time someone posts a video of a wingrider coaster, whether it be Xflight, Wild Eagle, or Gatekeeper, there's always someone saying how it's a copy of The Swarm. For the last time, it's similar- not a copy! It's like saying Fury 325 is gonna be a copy of Leviathan!

The comment about how Gatekeeper is a ripoff of Swarm is a total ripoff of the comment about how X-Flight is a ripoff of Swarm.
It's people that can't handle the fact that the swarm is just another coaster. Someone once commented that the swarm is the tallest wing rider in Europe, I corrected them, then they said it's the tallest wing rider in the UK. It's the only wing rider in the UK.
I mean Raptor came first so they are indeed all wrong

believe me or not... call me crazy if you want... but this is easily my favourite b&m i have ridden (and that includes the two gigas)
Flug der Dämonen is one of the best wings out there, but I’d still put the Gigas and the some of the better ones of the hypers and inverts above this
The POVs don't do it justice, when I rode it, it was so intense and was so much faster than this!

Is this the only ride to have the demonic knot element of is there more to have it?
In my day all we did was roll down a hill and hope we didn't get killed by a horse and buggy. Those were the days.
I also love and went on the ride because part my family lives in Germany

So out of all the wing coasters so far, how would you rank them from favorite to least?
As I told Jack Butler, I still haven't ridden Parrot Coaster at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in China. So I would rank the other six as follows:
1. Flug der Dämonen
2. Raptor
3. Swarm
4. X-Flight
5. Wild Eagle
6. Gatekeeper
Wow I didn't expect GateKeeper to be last, but I can see why because it hardly has any forces. Parrot Coaster looks like one of the better ones.

@@sixflagsfan1113 parrot has a really nasty rattle to it, one of the roughest B&Ms out there, the layout is not bad tho.

Connor Gower Heide Park and Thorpe Park are owned by Merlin Entertainments. Not only this, but both coasters are manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard…Who also did Gatekeeper, X-Flight, Wild Eagle, etc.
You may wanna look at the Swarms layout again. Nothing about the two, other than being wing coasters, are exactly the same.
No it isn't. Raptor at Gardaland was the first B&M Wingrider, not Swarm. It just happens that all Wingriders (all but Wild Eagle) have the wing over-drop at the beginning.
Coaster Central all but Wild Eagle, Raptor, Parrot Coaster & Thunderbird (the last one for obvious reason)
Gr33nMamba Yeah. I didn't know that Parrot coaster and Raptor had normal drops, but I knew Wild Eagle. I found out about Parrot and Raptor being normal like 2 minutes later XD. Still. Just because a ride is the same type and has the same type of first drop, doesn't man it is a copy. (I've had this argument/ telling them that Swarm isn't everything conversation alot with other people.)

When they Annonced Flug der Dämonen i thought it is going to be a good coaster but Heide park makes the best coaster with their ideas to worst

+IntellegentBlock Wait, are you kidding me? This is an amazing wing coaster right here. I would put this above many of the original wing coasters such as Raptor or Swarm. While this ride may be short, it still packs a punch.
IntellegentBlock Really? I've ridden The Swarm and this about the same amount of times, and I definitely prefer Flug Der Daemonen. Flug has a much more original layout and better presentation in my opinion!
This is like the lamest thing ever. I swear ive rode it and it was like the most boring coaster ever.
