- This is one of five Mack Rides bobsled coasters currently operating, including the like named one at Europa Park, Trace Du Hourra at Parc Astérix and the Avalanche coasters at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Kings Dominion. Unlike the three Intamin bobsled coasters (Bob at Efteling, La Vibora at Six Flags Over Texas and Alpine Bobsled at Great Escape) that have single cars, these ones use seven car trains.
Heide Park is located between Hamburg, Hannover and Bremen in Soltau, Germany.

This might be the first bobsled coaster I've ever seen to have a decent duration that's actually over 30 seconds.
When I see these rides all I want to do is get a kick scooter or a skateboard and ride around on the track.
I love it. It is so much fun and you can ride it with the whole family without worries 😊
War 1993 als das Ding eröffnet wurde mit 11 Jahren im Park. Bestimmt 3 bis 4 mal gefahren damals. Eine Kindheitserinnerung die ich nie vergessen werde.
I'm always impressed with Mack. I would be happy just to take a guided Mack vacation. It's amazing to me that they've been able to build so many different types of rides.

@@blacklisted351 Yeah. Every builder has that one park. Six Flags Magic Mountain is B&M heaven, for example.
@@riparianlife97701 Europa Park is literally owned by Mack. The only reason they have a GCI is because they don't make wooden coasters, and they have a B&M hyper because they didn't make hypers at the time it opened (but they do now). Also, Luna Park (Coney Island) is owned by Zamperla. Also, Magic Mountain has 4 B&Ms, and Great Adventure has 5.

Ich als Nicht-Achterbahnfahrer fand die Bobbahn echt super. Ich bin halt voll schissig. Mag keine Höhe und kein Fallgefühl.
Also seine Ängste zuzugeben und dazu zu stehen finde ich alles andere als schissig

It's not dangerous. Engineers and the parks having these wouldn't own a possibly deadly coaster. The positive g-forces basically glues it to the track. That's why it has so many turns.

The bobsled part technically is the track. The lift and brakes have track too.

It's a very hard and painful ride. My gf got bruises on her belly and I got a headache. I didn't really enjoy this one

I guess they really like the color white lol.
This ride it fits the theme though. Olympic bobsled(which is used on every one except trace du hourra)
CoasterGuy Trace Du Hourra at Parc Asterix isn't the only one that isn't painted white. You forgot about La Vibora at Six Flags Over Texas which is painted and themed to a coral snake.
I didn't know about that one. I saw it and thought it might be a ride like Storm Surge at Thorpe Park
I understand that this fits the theme but what about the other three rides that are white in this park? Lol.

Ich bin auch beide gefahren. Ich bin auch Inhaber einer Jahreskarte des HP seit vielen Jahren, bin aber der Meinung dass der EP in einer anderen Liga spielt. Die Bobbahn fährt sich mMn im EP besser, die im HP rüttelt viel mehr?? Rein von der Strecke hat der EP natürlich verloren, aber die Umsetzung gefällt mir besser.
Silverstar macht definitiv Spaß, ist aber keine B&M Sensation, stimmt. Fahre ihn aber lieber als Colossos bei Regen;)
Der Heide Park hat halt finanzielle Probleme, das sieht und merkt man. Wenn sich da nicht bald was ändert wird es auch nicht besser werden ohne eine große Investition. Potential hat er (bis auf Limit hahahahaha), nutzen kann man es aber nur mit Geld und Ahnung von Theming. Ich finde dass man auch big Loop super thematisieren kann, muss man halt nur machen. Desert Race ist halt iwie ein Reinfall, Krake zu kurz aber sieht wenigstens gut aus. Flug der Dämonen.....ja....coaster ist ok, Theming ist ok....ist halt ok geworden. In einem B&M steckt mMn eigentlich mehr, die Thematisierung ist ja eigentlich echt nicht schlecht, aber zick zack Warteschlange gibt es in einem guten Park nicht. Und die Lautsprecher wollen dich töten. Schade
Lexi ich finde mit einem RMC Umbau könnte man mit Colossos noch mal was machen! Dann könnte man noch ein paar Meter drauf packen und den höchsten RMC der Welt bauen, zusätzlich erlangt man wieder die höchste holzachterbahn europas. Außerdem ist ein RMC Umbau eine vergleichsweise günstige neue Attraktion, was natürlich in Anbetracht der Größe der Bahn entfällt. Aber damit würde man halt wieder weltbekanntheit erlangen, was definitiv wichtig wäre. Noch dazu hätte man wieder was ,,Deutschlands erstes", abgesehen dazu würde ein Iron Colossos den Park auch ungemein aufwerten.
Achja, der Park muss definitiv investieren. Sicher geht es ihn grade schlecht, aber wer nicht investiert verdient auch nicht. Da sollte Merlin mal was machen.
Langsam wird es nämlich echt schwer, eine Art Investitionsstau. Es wurde zwar immer investiert, aber desert Race, Krake und Flug der Dämonen zum Teil gingen halt in die falsche Richtung. Für das was sie bieten waren sie zu teuer, das, wie man sieht, hat sich nicht gelohnt. Ein RMC Umbau wäre in vielen Punkten wirtschaftlich sinnvoll, aber ich denke das leuchtet ein. Problem ist halt das machen, und ich denke nicht das Ihnen Colossos dafür alt genug ist. Wirtschaftlich gesehen hat Colossos sich natürlich schon in den ersten Jahren gelohnt, einfach weil der Park dadurch bekannt wurde. Das ist aber alles verflogen, mit Iron Colossos könnte man für preiswertes Geld ähnliches erreichen!
Jannes Hastedt Äh Colossos ist immer noch mega geil und vergleichsweise smooth und es ist laut RCDB sogar die höchste Holz Achterbahn DER WELT die braucht keinen Umbau!!!

maybe you. Because you vomit fast. other people most likely can do it without vomitting. i rided this one and it was super amazing
