Best Picture is not considered wide open- it looks to be "Oppenheimer" in a walk.
Between The Holdovers and Poor Things, it is not such a sure thing. And I would actually give the golden guy to Zone of Interest.
You need to win sag ensemble and producers guild to win best picture which Oppenheimer won both
@@eddistasio644 Yep, it is a sure thing; you can bet the house Oppenheimer won't blow it and lose BP on Sunday.
@@Pulpos999 Zone would be my pick as well, but it's Oppy for the win.
I thought the same with TopGun Maverick last year- and it didn't win squat and lost out to a Chinese movie. I expect the same this year
Those best picture odds are bs. Oppenheimer has been predicted to win since it came out and it has torn through the awards season, it's the heavy favorite by miles. It would take an unprecedented upset (bigger than Moonlight winning over La La Land) for anything else to win.
godderby odds are ridiculously wacko/bs. they always spread the odds way too wide in every category, its ludicrous. Steve should know better and use a better betting site - godderby isnt even betting real money, its a huge bunch of pundits playing the game for "points" and glory not money.
Martin Scorsese and John Williams are two very old and very talented people with huge, gigantic balls.
The industry wouldnt reach these highs without them.
Steves such a treasure. Keep those charts coming!
KORNACKI!! =D
Kornacki !!!
I want "The Holdovers" to win something. I enjoyed the movie and it felt very much like a throwback to the 1970s in the best possible way. It captured the era (especially the look and feel) without coming across as kitch or parody.
STEVE!!!!
US Elections should move to preferential voting...
Alaska has rank choice voting for their sole congressional seat.
Fascinating.
Steve I know more than you. Oppenheimer will take the night.
Good afternoon everyone
I knew the answer of the trivia 🎉😅
I love you Dylan 😘
Here hope to the animations department respect because they deserve it in movies and tv shows for children and adults.
Yes these are definitely the Academy Awards Best Picture category. Heard of three of these films. The film that four people saw will win. The Academy Awards method.
My bae Laura Jarrett lookin' so good 😊😍🥰.
Yalitza Aparicio is also native American
I thought Yalitza Aparicio is a native Mexican?!..
Yalitza Aparicio is an Indigenous actress from Mexico.
John Williams has been denied an Oscar since after he won Scandinavian List. He's had over 50 Academy Award nominations, but just 5 wins.
Statistically speaking, poor Williams has a less than 10% chance of winning his sixth Oscar.
Boy he sure really is the best at whatever this is
Steve has "changed up his style": pants other Khakis.
lord of the rings return of the rings 😂😂😂😂
I made steak with onion rings tonight
Steve even dropped his beige khakis for this.
All Oppenheimer
Oppenheimer is getting all the buzz. However I think Paul Giamatti is going to win Best Actor for The Holdovers. The Holdovers is also a close finalist with American Fiction and Killers of the Flower Moon for Best Picture. People forget Leo wasn’t nominated for Best Actor in The Departed and the Scorsese movie still went on to win Best Picture that year. Same could happen with Killers of the Flower Moon this year.
Giamatti. Lost sag and bafta he isn’t winning
@@eddistasio644 he won at Golden Globes and Critics Choice.
Critics choice isn’t an industry award he won in golden globe comedy which the academy doesn’t go for. They always vote for the globe drama winner.
@@eddistasio644 we will see.
It’s not wide open. Oppenheimer has been winning everything thus far lol
They’re really milking that dudes outfit 🤦♂️ it’s been 4 YEARS already!!
stay in politics please mr kornacki
Lily will win because she's Native American, mostly. Oscar wants to make history.. Annette really should win. That was a true actress and it's her time. Emma has alread won. Lily's role was also supporting.
Come on ladies, please don’t perpetuate negative stereotypes by pretending to be uniformed. Doing so compromises all the work you have done to this point, makes you look foolish, but worst of all maintains the status quo of the “guy” needs to come in and tell you what really is. Knowledge is power. You can still have the segment and ask intelligent set up questions of your guest. It’s sad that all of you took the easy way out when each of you is capable of more.
lol Best Picture is NOT wide open, stop lying to the audience NBC

Don’t jump the shark Steve this was akward
Useless. No predictions, especially nothing at all about best male/female actor.....
Oppenheimer! and Cillian Murphy! otherwise not worth watching
