Inflation isnt down. Its just not growing as fast as it was earlier in bidens term. Its still greater than wages have gone up. Our buying power is down.

Prices at the grocery store are insane, utilities are up nearly 50% from 4 years ago.
They're telling the viewers that Biden has brought inflation down. They don't tell you the dirty little secret of inflation. For example, I eat the Walmart Brand of Honey Bunches of Oats. It was $1.68 a box for 3 years, now it's $2.67. That's a 59% increase. The problem is: the price isn't coming down--this is the new base for that item. This is the same for dog food, deodorant, whatever. So when the Democrats tell you "inflation is down", the the dimwits are saying, " finally the prices are coming back down--thank you Joe Biden". They will be very disappointed.

Besides all of that the polls never account for the amount of people who are 'anti-Trump'; the people who aren't necessarily voting 'for' Biden, but are voting against Trump. Jobs are up because people need two jobs in order to pay their bills, the so called inflation numbers are down but my food bills are still up by 40%.
Inflation is down from its PEAK. Not down to where it was when Trump left office. This is the spin that the media does to hide the facts.
Your food prices are up because the companies know they can charge you more. They can use inflation to price gouge you. They’re reports that show Tyson foods and Walmart made a boat load of money. Yet they refuse to lower prices on their products. The shareholders are loving it.

I am wondering where did they get the information about inflation is down. The price of groceries are rising every day....I would like if NBC recommends me where to go for my groceries. Walmart, Giant Eagle, Marc's etc I am paying much higher currently than a year ago. Without a dime of doubt NBC is Team Joey 2024 election. There are still a lot of underlying problems in the economy, particularly related to servicing debt in the real estate sector, spending tightening up and a lack of affordability across major sectors of the economy. The problem is when they say inflation is down it means that things are still going up in prices just at lower rate than before. You want them to say you have deflation where prices actually go down . This why you still see things at the grocery store getting more expensive. Try getting a low interest rate on home or 0% interest on car finance right now.
With that said I hope price actually at the grocery and interest rates finally go down this year.

Inflation has been observed globally and America is actually doing better than most industrialized nations. As a European, I think it's unfortunate that Biden doesn't get enough credit for this. Perhaps rural America does not consume a healthy diet of international news.
