my sister has a lab/pit mix with the same eating problem and she got him a dog food puzzle. So not only does it slow him down eating, it helps his brain and makes him think! He loves it. After a few months of one, she gets another one, maybe a harder one to trick him up and keep him learning.
Hi Claudia, my dog used to eat very quickly also, which caused lots of problems, but what we've done is started putting half an inch or so of water in his food bowl. This helps him slow down while eating, it increases the amount of water he drinks in a day, it improves digestion, and can help prevent heart problems. Just a suggestion if you want to try it. Love your videos!

my dog got a snuffle mat for christmas and doesn’t enjoy it cause now he’s gotta work for his food😂 but i love it cause he’s working his brain more than just eating out of a bowl! would also recommend getting a puzzle toy to put kibble into so peach has to move around the pieces to get food. this guy also slowed down my dogs eating
