1:20 the look on lil mans face, priceless lol. Better than dealing with wild dogs when I had to go in customers homes ive had a few close calls where it was hard to control myself from unleashing the wrath within on fido
Aww dude I tell people straight up how I'm gonna be if their dog goes into attack mode. I only get that way near Pits though because I know not everyone treats them nice
I honestly love Goodman furnaces...that's about it. I don't like their condensers (except the brand new ones where you don't have to remove the whole top off to change a motor). I don't like their air handlers because they're huge and I have to work with small closets
@@AB_HVAC I like that one too. It’s tough spending all that money and trying to keep things nice though. Especially in the rain. I’ve lost a few tools to the rain
In my experience, that happens from like a 0° superheat which it isn't running. And the property management will probably okay a compressor changeout in the future as long as they're making money right now
You didn't take care of shit. (Pardon my French 😋)The directions you were reading told you what to do and you didn't follow it.. You just went straight to adding charge. Did you see your evap temp? TXV was flooding evap. You need to adjust it. Your superheat was still too low.
I understand I didn't adjust the txv any but I had always been told if a coil with a txv goes off of subcool, don't worry too much about superheat. There's many days down here on txv systems where the valve is so open I have a SH of 1 but my subcool will be almost spot on. Me adding refrigerant increased Delta T and didn't overcharge the system. It's also fair to say that air handler (not caught on camera) isn't pulling in enough return air which is affecting the evap coil temperature but there isn't another practical place for us to add a return. I polished a turd the best way I could.
It's a rental, they aren't about to sit there and pay us for the time spent to play with the txv, let the system balance out, check to see if it's working better, if it's not rinse and repeat all that jazz. Adjusting the valve is the right way to go but I solved the issue in a manner that made us money and got the tennant cooling when they had nothing to begin with.
@@AB_HVAC I recognize I'm not there and you are, but to be fair, you won't know if it's overcharged until it gets warmer. Also, you know low sh can slug the compressor. Just my 2 cents. Peace.
I love your videos. I was Jacob years ago. I’m always pulling for him!!!!

I didn’t use to,but recently I’ve started having problems with Goodmans right out the box,so I’ve been installing carrier units

The second unit was a dead giveaway with the refrigerant oil laying in there
Thank Goodness for Goodman
Ya can't stop a GOODMAN MOMA
YOUR HELPER NEEDS TO TIE HIS SHOE'S AND KEEP A CLEAN SHIRT IN THE TRUCK
Yeah we got dirty at a flip house before hand trying to map stuff out. Meant to use the nitrogen tank to clean up.
Good stuff keep it coming lol
Good job
I have that same scale and I hate it too!
It was cheap at my local supply house and I needed one that day because my old fieldpiece one broke due to water damage
@@AB_HVAC I just got it because it was cheap but I should have just spent a little more and got something decent.
@@AaronPowellvox I've recently had my eyes on the newest Bluetooth fieldpiece one. I haven't really seen any others I like

@AaronPowellvox gosh darn mother nature!!!
dude you gotta adjust those valves. It isn't going to show now, but in a few years, that compressor will be gone.

Also probably is about 7-9 after the suction accumulator

@Mo4Honesty that's true, if I get called back out there I'll make sure to record it. All good man
