THE MIGHTY REBA FROM CODE ORANGE
...sup
@@Limulouse not him, Reba said sup
She went total Thad on him....
Lmfao
South Park obscure reference ftw if I do say so myself....
When you really bout it you dont say shit
All of Code Orange always looks like they’re either bored, angry or sad all the time and I love it 😂😂
Is it due to Pittsburgh?
As someone who was born and raised there, thats just what people from pittsburgh are like lmao.@@annazolkieve9235
@@annazolkieve9235Visited for a week, Shittsburgh will do it to ya.
Great audio. We can almost hear her
That's what happens when you do interviews in a reverb tank.
Lapel mic ........
Because she keeps trying to talk lower than her voice can go, that's also why she sounds like a frog.
@@nickschwem3861 😄 why would she do that?
@@billyowens96 to sound cool
Her right hand looks twice the size of her left hand.
*grab my strong arm
The lens or the angle or something is weird, her guitar also looks absolutely massive.
Wide angle lens distortion; the lens is probably set close to minimum focus distance
@@chrishernandez8768 😂😂😂🤣
Wide angle lens. That's why the guitar looks a bit massive at the bottom too.
This is the future of metal!!! Reba is an absolute visionary!!!! Love Code Orange!!!!

I’m just finding out about Reba and Code Orange today and I’m highly impressed with their vision and talent. Don’t stop y’all are killer.
She’s amazing, an incredible influence for all, especially young girls getting into music.
**"CaN yOu bLeSs Us WiTh ThAt RiFf"**

She has Kermit The Frog down to a tee.
Well technically, she'll still need the hand in order to operate the Kermit puppet since his mouth can only be moved by sticking a hand up his ass.

Is Loudwire so poor they can't afford investing in a couple of microphones?
Yeah there's no money in music because 15 years ago we all decided musicians don't have a right to be paid anything, they're all basically working for the love of it.... Generally speaking.. just be glad you get anything like this is my suggestion
@@eisenkeith Fifteen years? Ok, zoomer. Musicians hasn't been paid well throughout the history of human civilization. It's been like that since ancient Greece, my friend.
@@lingonberriesofwrath1836 Yet no one makes an effort to change that
Is that a giant guitar or a tiny person?
The specs says it's a 24.5 inches neck, weird. I thought it was a 27" baritone guitar. It looks freaken huge, but I guess it's an optical illusion or something.
Reba is very tiny.
Reba is tiny!!
she is like 4ft tall
Both I think
Reba is so freaking awesomely;, amazing guitarist and Great Singer!
Amazing guitarist? really? 🤨
@@rupe82 Yes.
Great singer?
yes she is definitely one of the singers of all time
Boy, those Code Orange riffs don't really work when they're isolated from the rest of the music
Yes, they do.
@@interlacedlowtech Not really.
@@Bobbob12397 So what, she should'nt have played riff from her band then? Just because you don't know the context of the song? Did work for me.
@@interlacedlowtech they actually sounded exceptionally bad. Like just random slamming on a guitar

i cant get over how large the body of that guitar is.
If it is a standard viper body, its not. I have 3 of them at my home, 😊
Reba is a really small person. Like really really small.
@@martinjohansson203 Yea, Im sure its an actual guitar. I dont play or own them but I remember the shapes. I remember seeing it smaller and just rounded in the bottom but looking at it you can see its an oblong shape. Def a different model than what I remember.
That's what she said
Knotunit that is one shitty baritone guitar that NO ONE wants to play. Ever.
Now she’s touring with Manson!
I never paid much mind to this band as I was expecting something else...but once they hit the stage, they went off big time. Reba shreds with the best of them and completely lets loose. I think they are better live than on record, so if you get a chance, see them on stage.
I'm planning to see them live in July, they will be opening up for Korn so I really hope I can make it to that show!
@@LeadMe2TheBliss I totally suggest to try to see them. I saw them last month in Madison, Wisconsin, it was my first concert. Code Orange started, followed by Chevelle then Korn to end it. The whole experience was Awesome!
@@tylerallen497 I'm hoping to! I'm planning to go to Inkcarceration and again seeing them in august, so that will be the 3rd time I've seen Korn in less than a year!
It must be so jarring to play 3 Knives because of all the off-tempo glitching they put in the recording. That's why it sounds so awkward when she plays it, she's playing to those glitches.
Is it me or does she kinda sound like Hila from H3H3?
Yeah she does haha
My first association
*Nasal sound*
Mind blown
Exactly what went through my brain
Wow. Some people can piece together some of the coolest sounds. That last riff was of epic proportions. So catchy.

He's like "hmmmmmm"
He like fuckkk I just had John 5 on here last week doing some Jimi Hendrix type shit on a fucking hello kitty guitar an this bird has the best of everything an she sounds like a hawk taking a dump on a chainsaw. Yes I know hardcore prob better then u yes I know code orange she is best thing bout them but this is muck
You shouldn't speak for other people. Not just because it's wrong but because it shows how insecure you are about your own words. Time to grow some balls George
At first he's like, "yeah dude, were totally gonna talk about your sick guitar". After her playing he's all like "well would you look at the time, that's all we have for today, we'll see you next time".
@@mikey41rules what are you on about you absolute muppet
this band kills it live!!! it's scary! some of the most unique riffs
Code Orange is like if Meshuggah played punk
Its Mathcore
Code isn't exactly a Mathcore band but it's still something very present in their sound
They are heavily influenced by Converge
I love how Reba always looks so uncomfortable.
She's an introvert, and more comfortable in person.
that why she is so cool hehe
She sounds like Jordan Peterson
Mister Metokur Archives NOT JIM STOP. You’re killing the love boner I have for her.
LOBSTER IS FOREVER
DTH SWN The lobster feels constricted in his shell so occasionally needs to leave it to feel safe but simultaneously becomes vulnerable

Kinda
HAHAHA
Her voice is soo much deeper than i was ready for
I like her singing voice, too.
When I'd first discovered Code Orange I remember hearing the song "Bleeding In the Blur" and thinking the singer in it was definitely a man. I was blown away when I saw that it was a little red-headed woman lol. Reba's a beast.
It was awesome to hear the guitar part so isolated from all the craziness that is a Code Orange song.
I though code orang is a new model of Orange's amp!
The riffs in this need more context for those who haven’t heard of her band. Love Reba and her guitar is fucking awesome, but the camera mic didn’t do her justice at all. For everyone saying it sounded bad, that’s because it did. Check out Code Orange Kids “I Am King”. And if you can see them live, DO IT. 💩
this might be one of the most badass looking guitars ive ever seen
Right!!
Looks like a meaty SG.
I prefer the 1960s red and White Gibson sg's
I think its called the baritone viper sg or its just the black metal version
It’s actually her signature. One of the best models ESP released this year imo
I like this chick and her personality-nonchalant. She plays well 🎸🤙
She sounds like me trying to play guitar without any clue of what I'm doing.
Rodolfo Borges yea I don’t think that is accurate
The first riff she played sounded like the first time I let my 2 year old play my guitar.
Exactly lol
I was so confused😂
you got to hear it in the full mix
Her guitar has more balls than me.
That’s what sucks about playing that kind of music. It rips with a band but sound like you don’t know how to play without one.
The horrific microphone quality doesn't help
Yes and no, the thing about the hardcore punk that they play is that it's not supposed to sound particularly melodious or intricate, it's all about the downtuning and the relentless "chugging", it's not supposed to sound overtly harmonious either hence the fairly niche audience for it. Also it seems to me (an amateur guitarist/drummer) that she's focused a lot more on playing patters in perhaps odd timing, rather than focusing on licks or solos and shit
Uh nat really mate. If youre shredding and tapping with a buncha effects
@Clay Goeke God troll much? sad attempt lmao
It does not sound like they don't know how to play without one. Completely false
Tone is heavy man HEAVYYYY

@@8ori5 ill take it, Boris! Have a good day bro! 🤘
She has the voice of a McDonalds manager when they fuck your order up
First riff is hard af wtf y’all talking y’all probably like djent 😂😂
INTROBUST no, we like good riffs. That first one was most definitely NOT.
I like Djent and I like these riffs only when accompanied by the rest of the band members...
I like instrumental music when it's more melodic, rhythmic/polyrhythmic and technical These riffs were more straight up aggression, chromatic scales and dissonance just anger without much else there's not much of a progression to follow... But you play something like... even... Deathcore, Metalcore and Djent you tend to get more melodic riffs which work almost like hooks which are catchy. And then they will implement the aggressive dissonance and chromatic side of things for breakdowns. It builds up to the climax. That aggression. But this band has a lot of that aggression through out.
It's common in hardcore music. But in my opinion it's a little boring. Because its like knowing the ending of a movie before you even finish it... Now... I still like it.. but personally I can't listen to it for long periods... It's more of a one off if I'm in the mood
Code orange, knocked loose, and dealer are the shit and I fuckin worship djent! Andrew baena and josh travis are my idols.
DJENT
Both riffs were really nice!
She's got such an agressive attack, such a killer right-hand and such a killer sound. I love how she ain't in that "The mighty whoever" bullshit.
She's so enthousiastic hahaha

Wow, you too. First time discovering introverts?
She did the Vulcan hand 🖖🏻
Man I swear I’m not hating but I can’t be the only one that thinks that sounded like hot garbage
before I watched this video I took a peek of a Code Orange live show and, yeah, pseudo screamo-ish "Karate-in-the-pit" garbage....
Kaleb Kozee No, you're not the only one man. She's hot but she sounds like garbage...
I think that’s just because it was nothing more than a camera in front of a not-so-high-quality amp, along with the fact that the sound of the strings being picked is more audible than sound coming from the amp.
listen to the actual song.
Requires a whole band behind it tbh
He looks at her like my dad look at me, showing him how I play Enter Sandman for the first time
I always get like 5 really confused seconds cause I get mixed up between Agent Orange and Code Orange 😂 FFS
Ngl it's nice to see a female guitarist in such a popular band.
I remember being 16 in my room playing these exact same riffs 😆
A lot of people complaining about the riffs when the guitar tone is probably setup for a bass guitar to take up space underneath it's sound as well as gear factor not even micing up the amp.
Every single person opening their wordhole about that first riff hasn't got a clue about syncopated or triplet measures.
Christopher Dakin considering you’re elaborating about it just shows you aren’t able to even play it
How and why does it show that Gary? Your profile pic is Venom, you sure you aren't a little lost?
Haha I've played guitar for 25 years and that sounded like shit don't care about how syncopated it was.
Christopher Dakin You’re a fucking moron if you think liking some simple music reflects on my skills with an instrument. Ironically enough a lot of simple music sound better than “syncopated triplets”
They only like AC/DC 2/4 beats in here apparently from the comments, couldn't wrap their head around this and hear where the drums and breaks are and when it doesn't just repeat back every measure
That's a damn slick riff! I gotta find this song

Yes! Need a Reba/Reba collab.
So, the interview was worthless, didn’t talk about the guitar at all and the questions were of the most generic type. Please, get better interviewers especially with a series called “Gear Factor” where there’s not a mention of gear at all.
