Very nice collection but I'm missing the Purnululu ntp. with the amazing and famous Bungle bungles, definitely a top 5 ntp of WA 😉. I visited WA a lot of times but the bungle bungles, eg the Echidna chasm, Piccaninny gorge, stunning. Cheers
What an excellent guide to the parks. You certainly seen a good selection of wildlife, really enjoyed your video. We are travel vloggers too so good to connect. Have subscribed.
Western Australia is just a beautiful . and so remote. I loved it . I was nearly on the some tour. My highlight was Karijini just cool. Had great memories during your video. I stoked to see the video about swimming with humpbacks . enjoy it :)
Glad to hear you also had a similar route through Western Australia. Yes, Karijini was also a big highlight for us - so many unreal waterfalls and gorges, crazy!
I didn't realize there weren't any koalas on the west coast! Good to know that you can still see them, they're super cute. Thanks for sharing so many great spots in Western Australia!
Study Hard Travel Smart Thanks for watching and your lovely feedback! Western Australia is such a scenic paradise! Have you been to Australia or are you planning to go?
I'm sure Gibb River road is awesome. We skipped it for getting faster to Kakadu National Park, which was amazing up North! Thanks for the other suggestions. Would love to come back and visit them. Cheers from Austria, Doris & Matthias 👨🏻👩🏻🦰
ich bin ein ausgewanderter deutscher, kam mit 32 Jahren nach Australien, das ist nun 42 Jahre her, also nun 74, ich habe mein Leben gelebt, bin viel gereist und das kann mir keiner nehmen, sehe dich und deine travels, remain me of my time, good luck on your way's, I know I still have a strong accent
Hey Kim! Thanks a lot, glad you enjoyed watching! We also have a couple of videos about the Philippines (Malapascua, Bohol, Coron, Moalboal, ...). Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🐻
Great list of national parks! So cool all the wildlife you got to see. Beautiful footage! That looked like quite and amazing adventure. I hope we get over there someday!
I hope to visit Australia next year and visit all these awesome parks! Especially want to see those koalas. This video is so well done! Can't wait to watch more. Subscribed!
If you want to see Koalas, you're probably better off on the east coast, there are more places where you get to see them, but the west coast offers generally more other wildlife viewing opportunities. A paradise for every adventurer! Let us definitely know if you need any advice - just send us a message on Insta (@bugsandbears). Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🐻
Thanks for dropping by! Western Australia is really a heaven for wildlife lovers 😍! We were super lucky! Have you been to Australia before? Cheers, Doris & Matthias

Fantastic footage love these types of videos. I feel like all we hear about is eastern Australia and forget about Western Australia. What kind of camera do you edit with?
Yes, that's what we thought. Western Australia wasn't on our radar until we found out about the unique wildlife viewing opportunities and gorgeous landscapes. We're shooting mostly with our Sony A7 RIII and sometimes GoPro Hero 6 / Mavic Air. What are you using, also a Sony?
Amazing footage again, you're so great at shooting wildlife. What lenses do you use? I saw Dingos on Fraser Island and they are pretty scary haha. Glad I subscribed to you guys, your videos are awesome
Thanks, guys - appreciate your feedback a lot! Our wildlife shots are usually taken with our 70-300mm Sony lens unless we've got really, close friendly animals, then it might be the Sony 24-105 F4 or our wide-angle 16-35 (but that is mostly for landscape or walkarounds). Are you also shooting on a Sony Alpha?
Thank you so much, so sweet of you! Take that plane, you won't regret it 😅. And let us definitely know, when you need any advice! Cheers, Doris & Matthias 🐻
I've heard great things of Western Australia, so I really want to go there! I like the running up to the camera thing you did. :-D To be so close to dolphins would be amazing! What was your favorite animal you saw?
We got a recommendation to visit. Actually, we decided very spontaneously to go and didn't regret it. Way fewer tourists than in the cities on the East Coast and so much wildlife! Paradise for nature/outdoor enthusiasts! Our favourite animal was for sure the spiky echidna (at 05:26). Cheers, Doris & Matthias
Yanchep is meh - koalas are not native to Western Australia. Much better are the South West forests, with massive trees and more biodiversity than Europe, and the South coast near Esperance. You may have missed these if you just started in Perth and went North. Something else awesome I hope you saw: watch the desert sky on a cloudless night where there are no settlements within 100km and you can touch the stars.
Oh yes, we definitely had a few 5.000 star hotels in the middle of nowhere from our tent 😎. We'd love to visit the South Coast once! It should be awesome! Thanks for the suggestions. Cheers from Austria, Doris & Matthias 👨🏻👩🏻🦰

Traveling Graces Thanks for your feedback! Appreciate it a lot ☺️! Yes, we’d definitely recommend min. 4 weeks for Western Australia. We went in 5 from Perth up to Darwin and it was ok but really packed. A shorter version would be Perth to Exmouth or Broome. The National Parks alone are worth it 🌳!
