- Exploring Western Australia in a campervan:
An unforgettable trip to an under-appreciated part of the country and the final leg of our Melbourne to Perth campervan trip - Western Australia’s South West.
Starting from Kalgoorlie and visiting Wave Rock before heading down to the coast and hopping from one National Park to another while enjoying some of the best beaches you’ll find anywhere in the world.
You’ll get a look at life inside our Maui Ultima campervan (our home for 2 whole months), see some of the excellent campsites we found and get a cinematic look at a few of the incredible places we discover.
If you enjoy this, be sure to check out the other 3 legs of our journey - Victoria’s Murray River, South Australia, and Crossing the Nullarbor.
Highlights:
- Wave Rock: Marvel at this natural rock formation.
- National Parks: Cape Arid, Cape Le Grande, Fitzgerald River and many more.
- Campervan Life: Get a glimpse of our life inside the Maui Ultima campervan.
- Campsites: Discover some of the excellent campsites we stayed at.
- Beaches: Enjoy some of the best beaches in the world along the coast of Western Australia.
Filmed using a GoPro, Mavic Mini drone, Mavic Air 2, and an iPhone.

We both share a passion for travel and love discovering new places. Typically, we spend at least one month in each location we visit, seeking authentic experiences and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the region.
Life Dunn Differently is our outlet to share our passion for travel and the lifestyle we've chosen to embrace, and we hope you enjoy seeing a little of our journey.

I only found your channel yesterday. Your footage is just amazing as the Australia itself. Especially the drone shots are great and inspiring. We have also experienced Australia a couple of times and we just came back from a 8 months journey. We are again missing travel the outback.
Thanks very much - WA sure knows how to look good for the camera! Hope you get the chance to visit the outback again soon!
👏👏👏 You have captured the South West of this stunning state of Western Australia beautifully!! Simply Gorgeous footage, great music vibes ..& a nice smattering of wildlife & local fauna. ❤️
Hopefully you DO do a seperate video of some highlights around Perth, Fremantle & the surrounds...& Rotto of course! 🎥
Exceptional stuff guys! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Subbed.
Thanks a lot for the kind words! Special part of the world, that’s for sure!
Would love to get back West and spend more time filming Rotto, Perth etc. actually, I’d like to see the whole state!
Awesome cinematography and a great insight into the natural beauty of this truly inspiring country that we live in. Keep up the great work.

Ringleader western. Home and away
A lot of Australian born Europeans always tell you the beaches overseas are clearer and bluer than the ones in Australia. Mind you they only been to Brighton beach or Sans Souci . They don’t travel Australia to see how natural and stunning our beaches are . The beaches near Esperance are breathtaking.!Thank you so much for your amazing video .
Hi Louisa - thanks for your comments and support. Agree, I've been all over the world and it's hard to beat Australia's beaches - not just the colour of the water but the cleanness and the lack of seaweed you find in so many iconic beaches definitely puts ours at #1

@@LifeDunnDifferently I totally agree, however I think there’s probably some Eastern Staters who may disagree😆😂 It’s like Sibling rivalry😊😁

Absolutely AWESOME!! I have watched many many videos over the years on UA-cam and yours is a standout. You both are incredible cinematographers and it's only a matter of time before you're both discovered as such. My husband and I really look forward to discovering all that Australia has to offer when things return to the "new normal". Well done and all I can say again is -- wowowoowwow!!
Wow thanks Jane - I don't really know what to say back to that except that we're very humbled and reading your comment made our night. Thank you.
I hope you get the chance to head out soon - they say good things are worth the wait!

I forget which melb to perth trip but picked up on something. Are you a daytrader ? how do you find it on the road and different time zones etc etc ?
Hey Jason
Yeah I was trading but on slightly longer timeframes, so no issues with timezones etc. I was surprised how good mobile coverage was in general - Nat was able to Skype/zoom pretty much everywhere using LTE mobile data. Hope that answers your question but happy to provide more info if it helps.
Cheers
Ricky
