This is superb John , I've always loved this song ... Rick's voice , Francis's solo , beautiful laid back feel .... nice touch at the end , well done ...
This is my favourite song on the album. These videos are great John so please keep them up. The whole remixed album is great. I’d love to hear of you can’t stand the heat remixed too.
Another interesting video John and a touching tribute to Rick at the end. Watching these videos really shows the time and effort you put in with the album remix.
Once again, thank you John for these amazing videos! I still find it amazing how there are people that are completely clueless about your remix of the Rockin' album! Poorly promoted and really should have been a standalone release. Would have been good to have a boxset, with scans of the Master Reels used as the Vinyl Disc Sleeves, and some copies of the studio tracks sheets for certain tracks inside, or all of them... They could have made a huge thing out of this, but sadly, that didn't happen. Take Care, Luke
Yes Luke it was not easy even getting this out so for the few that know and appreciate it I'm happy. I hope my channel and the total package of videos will help in the sales
Beautiful words at the end John. Do you think those PLC demos will ever see the light of day? Personally, however rough they are, I think they would be absolutely fascinating to hear! All the best.
Brilliant stuff, thanks again John. Always loved this song. Rick's voice solo'd out is just beautiful! And I'm sorry, but I think someone was chopping onions near me reading your memories at the end. One question though, were the backing vocals (that took the 19 tracks) all just the band themselves?
On this album Bernie was around on occasions but I cant be positive in the blend he was on this. We did record the backing vox at The Marquee and I'm trying to picture who was round the mic.On the JS and NTL some of the harmonies where just him and Francis which made his voice character more obvious.
"When you weren't trying to be a rock star" speaks volumes, Thank you John
Great to hear the tracks like this, these songs were a great part of my youth.
The tribute at the end brought tears to my eyes, thank you John
A tragic loss
Simply WONDERFUL ❤️🎸❤️ x

I always thought this was a beautiful song, and all the more so now I’ve heard some of the tracks isolated. Lovely tribute to Rick at the end there.
Thank you Kees
Great tribute at the end, talks about, Rick, John and Alan and not Francis, says it all.
Beautiful words at the end John.

PS - and loved Bob's little cameo!!
Good question. I usually feel like I know who’s doing the backing vocals, so I’d be interested to know whether I’m right 🤓

Quick query on the backing vocals. Who contributed the high parts in particular?
I was just going over this and its possible Bernie was in the blend but I cant say for sure.
