Love your spool finish! Absolutely adorable!! 🥰Another item on my wishlist to stitch!! Hope your elbow is back to normal soon! Thanks for mentioning the Theraband. I may need one of those too! xx
Your creative juices were definitely flowing with all your finishes and ideas. I love the MFE carnations. So lovely. May I make a suggestion for you border around your carnations? I see it framed as a triangle with the blue and then inserted onto fabric for your project bag. I just see it as a triangle. It is just a thought. I know you must do as you wish. However you do it will be wonderful. I was also totally charmed by your little spool. So sweet! I am surprised to hear that there is so much humidity in Ontario, specifically, London. That is how it is in Baltimore all summer long and sometimes even in winter. Dreadful with high temps. So glad you can stay cool. I so enjoy your visits. I don't always comment, but I almost always watch. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
So happy you are able to stitch comfortably again. That spool is a thing of beauty. Good to hear that Roxy is settling down, look forward to seeing her in the workshop. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
Greetings from New Zealand on this winter day, but it is a lovely sunny day. I watch your other floss tube (business one) but this is the first time watching this one. Thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to your next one
Happy you can stitch again! Your spool finish is beautiful but your stitching is always exquisite! Look forward to meeting Roxy! Tell the guys to stay safe training and stay hydrated! Great video!
Glad your elbow is feeling better, and that you are being cautious to exercise/strengthen and not over-do. Good luck to the runners to safely train during your heat wave. Lovely finish on the spool ornament!
I love your little spool finish so much, it's the most beautiful little treasure. Roxy is so cute and looking forward to seeing much more of her when she's ready. Thank you for another amazing stitching update.
Carnation is stunning on the black. Good idea. I would suggest care with learning crochet. It can be hard on the hands I found. My tender base knuckle on my thumb objects to crocheting lately. Tiny Modernist is so clever. Pretty one again this year.
Love your spool finish! That's great that your son and husband are doing a marathon. Not sure I'll ever go that far, but started running a few months ago and did a 5k June 1st and have been letting my foot heal from plantar fascitis since then. Lately my left hand and wrist have decided to act up also. Hope your elbow is 100 percent soon.
I fell and fractured my right shoulder in 4 places. I had a complete shoulder replacement. It has now been 2 months since I fell. While I am still not driving, I started crossstitching again last week. I have to limit my time but am so happy to be back at it!
Hi :) If you come in Montreal in September for the marathon there is a little cross stitch shop, it's open 2 days a week I think. It's call La Cigale brodeuses
Caroline I had a hard time accepting that you said you started the off the grid channel 7 YEARS ago because I started watching you when you were only doing the fibre friends with Louise and Adrienne. Where has the time gone?! On another note, please tell me y’all will be making more Cocoa loco linen. Y’all sold out before I could get any. 😭 so much love from Mississippi!
How lovely to see you and your beautiful projects. Hope your elbow gets better soon. Have you finished the Caroline shawl? All the best with Roxy she sounds like a cuty but a handful too. Love Josh
Well HELLO!!!!!! ❤️ I have not finished it - I’ve not started any more shawls and the Caroline and the road trip are def in my top to be done WIP basket. I hope you’re ok - miss chatting.
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts I'm sort of okay, if I do everything on a slow pace. I had a very rough winter but with the warmer temperatures things are better. Still knitting a lot. You have been busy and are so beautifully succesful, it's a joy to behold!
Well I wish you an easy summer keeping to a slow and gentle pace. Thank you - yes, life is full for sure. I’m so glad you wrote, it’s nice to “hear” your voice
Several years ago, you mentioned the name given to a securing stitch which I occasionally use, but never knew the name. It is when you are securing your thread on the back of your work by running it under some of the stitch lines formed on the back of your piece, AND THEN do a “sort of” BACKSTITCH (perhaps a back loop is better description). You called it by name. Do you understand my description? and if so, will you remind me of the stitch’s name? Don’t know when I will have the time to go back through years of episodes 😂
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts Thank you! That has been on my mind for quite awhile, so now my curiosity is satisfied 😃 and I will be able to name it when trying explain it to others. Appreciate your quick response ♥️
Hi Wendy, I like the 16” rods for projects that are on wide 1/8s and my Peacock, Unicorn and a Badger is on 30” rods which are just as stable when used on a table surface. They’re all great for different sized projects so it really depends on your most common size of fabric I wou,d say is the best place to start!
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts I didn’t realize Roxy had passed. I wasn’t a subscriber if yours for a few years, so When I came back on you talked about Roxy. Bless you for taking such good care of your dogs and loving them so much. They are certainly a part of your family. I look forward to being a subscriber of Off the Grid w/needle arts once again.

“Tyler Twist and the Thera Band” sounds like a 60s revivalist music group 😝 💃 🕺 🎶
😂😂😂

Your finish is so cute , where did you buy that spool you wrapped project on. And did Luna past 😢 did I miss something. Take care ❤
We got the spools from a maker through Jeannette and we sell them through Evertote. 😊 We lost Luna to cancer in late April unfortunately.
@@OfftheGridNeedlearts OMG. I am so sorry for your lost dear🫶
Thank you Yvonne - I miss her every day!
Hi Caroline
Hi 👋 ❤️
I haven't been watching flosstube for several months. Did you lose Luna?
We did sadly. We lost her to cancer at the end of April.
Where's tthe rabbit 's cotton tail? 🙂
😂 and the upper ear is missing some stitches!!!! So close but not quite - shucks!
What happened to Luna?
We lost Luna to cancer in late April.

Tyler twist and the saraband sounds like a great name for a band 😅
Plz Plz be careful with the tendonitis. That can come on suddenly and last way too long.
