I love that you show us pieces still in Q Snaps and not ironed. Real life! I’d much rather have a video from you than know that you were spending time to make sure each piece was perfectly pressed and out of its working frame.
You're just as well to bring us along going through your wips, better talking to us than yourself, or am I the only one who does that 😂Finishes are lovely, I don't know what Snow Queen looks like but I imagine it's going to be a stunner on that fabric. Thanks so much for the surprise video always enjoy.
Hi Helen: Congratulations on the Fly By Night finish, SnowQueen is a lovely design, nice progress on your stitching, I so love the turkey design, so cool, Helen you have some sweet designs in progress, I also like using two threads, 😅that is a lot of coverage on your new start. Knob let’s is so cute, remember when mushrooms were the rage, what comes around comes again. I am a one at a time I like to see a finish sooner, have a great week.
This is a great mid year WIP parade! Love the reindeer and your recent starts. I like a stitcher who can just start something. 😂 💜💙 I love your Tree of Magic and I personally hope you complete it. Your Turkey piece is also a fav. You have so many pieces that I like….
The frame for Fly by night is perfect Every time you say Watermelon Crawl, I hear that country song, same name...and I am Not a country girl...thanks for that 😅 Now I want to pull out all my projects and see what I want to work on and what I have lost the love for 💙🖖
Great WIP Parade. Makes me think there is hope - ha ! I absolutely love the Santa Claus one ! I think that's my favorite. You've made a lot of progress on 324. Awww Nibblers . . . I should count mine and decide which ones to "bust out" . . . then again, it might be depressing - ha !
Thanks for sharing your WIPS. I recently finished the Owl Forest House Plants, but still need to FFO it. Lots of bright reds, corals, and oranges in it along with the greenery. Can't wait to see your progress on these projects.
Hey friend. I dont get to stitch or watch regularly during this stage of life. So glad I got to catch up here today. Loved seeing your Wips & hearing your plans. Have a great summer!!
I love the autumn lane pieces. Ive never had a pattern from them or heard of their halloween box. I definitely need to get one for this halloween. Absolutely love their halloween patterns❤
Love the WIP parade. I like to keep about 12 going at once. More then that and I stress over what to stitch or when. 12 is is a good # for me to manage.
You have so many cute stitches going on and a lot of great finishes. So impressive! I get stressed juggling too many projects so am more of a monogamous stitcher. 🙂
Always enjoy seeing your progress...very motivating! Wondering if you ever work on 18ct? That's my sweet spot, but I notice many seem to use one strand on 18/ 36ct. I've been using 2 as I just don't like the coverage & it seems to wash out the color...could you also tell me where you found the black lugana? Shared your concerns about the stiffness of aida. Tiny modernist piece is adorable!Happy Stitching!
I stitch on 18 every once in a while. I feel the same way about the floss, which is probably why I don't use it as much. One strand isn't enough coverage, but two strands can be really thick. I got the 25 count black lugana from 123stitch.
Love to see all your WIP's. It is so good to see what you are working on. My favorite is 324 with all those beautiful colors. You only have 17 projects? I have 30 of them and I figured I could work on 1 a day with 200 stitches and that way all my projects got some love on them. It is a little overwhelming but I love doing them. In July I will be working on 2 of my Christmas projects so all my other ones go away until August. Happy Stitching.
Love your floss tubes. I did all 9 of Mirabilia's reindeer.last year. I stitched them on 30 count Murano (the old Murano) in Cadet Blue. I was recovering from Achilles tendon surgery. No weight bearing for at least a month. I don't want to see a reindeer for a long time. Best of luck finishing yours. All of your WIPs are fantastic!.
Thank you for sharing your WIP parade. Oh, I really like the Atlantic Shores chart. Definitely I will put it on my future list. By the way, because I’ve been there where I did not guess correctly. I always place a piece of thread on the top of my fabric before I start.
Love that you're doing Nora Corbett's reindeer. I'm also doing them in order by the song, finishing up Donner, determined to complete at least the reindeer this year, the sleigh may have to wait for next year. 😅. Thanks for sharing😊.
I am so envious of your low number of WIP’s I have 64. I have finished 2 this year and I will be working on one this July but I don’t think I will finish is Teresa Kogut Land that I Love and it’s been a WIP since it came out. I love it so I’m not giving up.
Well Helen. It's 1am an you are going to keep me company while I work on my Bee Farm by Erin Elizabeth. I'm not very far, but now I can concentrate on it for a bit. Thanks or sharing. Take care.
I think a mid year look is great. I kitted up quite a few projects at the beginning of the year. Then I decided I like small seasonal stitches so I haven’t touched many of the ones I kitted up. I also lost my mind and signed up for a bunch of clubs from Fat Quarter Shop. I’m about to cancel all except the stitch quarterly and the Lori Holt Stitch cards. I have decided I’m not purchasing any new patterns for the rest of the year. Let’s hope I stick with it. 😂
It was great seeing your WIPs. I watch your flosstubes for the fabric you choose as much as for the patterns! Your fabric choices are luscious! Do you choose fabric by what colors catch your eye, or do you try to buy fabric colors that match or come close to what patterns suggest? Pumpkin King had my heart going pitty-pat!
I mostly go by what catches my eye and do a floss toss to make sure everything shows up. I have quite a stash so I always try to find something first before ordering it.
Hi Helen! It seems as if when I turn on my computer and see a video from you that there is a tornado warning here or a severe thunderstorm! But here in Iowa it has been just about a weekly event for the last 3 or 4 months. Really enjoyed your WIP parade, it kept me sane in this crazy weather event!! 😂 Really love the four elements, the colors and the pattern just lovely!
It was great fun seeing your WIP parade, so many great projects! I don’t think 17 is an unmanageable number, you just have lots of options. 😊 Fly By Night, Four Elements, and Santa Clause is Coming to Town are wonderful finishes. Witches Hallow is going to be spectacular. Thanks for sharing!
I admire anyone who can stitch on multiple projects at a time. I am a monogamous stitcher and have to finish each piece before moving on. Mind you, they are not fully finished!😂 Very nice WIP parade! ❤️🪡
I have abut five or six wips. I started several a few weeks ago. I haven't stitched on Mirabilia's Raven Queen for several weeks and need to get back to it. It's not hard, but I've been more in the mood to work on small projects. My husband does not like me watching wip parades because they are very enabling. He always says "Oh boy", when he sees me watching one.
Oh my love wip parades. 🤔 hmmI like the autumn lane halloween one. And love the towne one. I bought green fabric for it so now may put this on my list when it comes and get some orange fabric. All is great. I have been monogamous with my full coverage since feb 1. Am feeling the omg don’t have any done but this is 3 pages and bit left so not giving up. Then a new grandbaby in nov so hmm stocking how fast canI do a stocking. Not a dimensons gold I hope.
@@helend.flosstube well was for hubbys birthday may 29th nope, so next milestone is our 47th anniversary July 25. I don’t think so my friend does but she also figured his birthday. Well you're in luck, it's all real life over here! 😂
Helen thank you for sharing... beautiful stitching and projects. Have a great week!
Loved your mid-year WIP parade, and that Santa finish really pops on that blue fabric - so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your progress.
Wonderful, wonderful WIP parade! Thank you!
Loved your WIP parade ,you're always stitching fun things, wonderful inspiration 🥰
I love how you think about finishing before or as you stitch and then make decisions accordingly!
You're just as well to bring us along going through your wips, better talking to us than yourself, or am I the only one who does that 😂Finishes are lovely, I don't know what Snow Queen looks like but I imagine it's going to be a stunner on that fabric. You're definitely not the only one! 😂
Thank you for the WIP parade - I love the variety of pieces you have!

Thanks for showing your wip parade. I loved that you showed the seasons again, I really love that one.
This was fun! Beautiful pieces. I try really hard to finish projects before starting a new project. TFS.
Great parade. Thanks for sharong. You kept my 4 month old grandaughter quiet. Thank you
Wow, that's an accomplishment! 😂
This is a great mid year WIP parade! Love the reindeer and your recent starts. I like a stitcher who can just start something. 😂 💜💙
I love your Tree of Magic and I personally hope you complete it. Your Turkey piece is also a fav. You have so many pieces that I like….
I try to keep the "why not" starts to smalls, but sometimes a big piece sneaks in there 😂
Always enjoy a WIP Parade!
Love the “Santa is coming to town!”
Thanks for the WIP parade! Love it all. Laughed when you said “Enough is enough. Let’s bust it out” because I definitely reach that point too 😂
Sometimes I just get tired of a piece taking forever 😂
Enjoyed your parade! I really like those Autumn Lane Halloween pieces. Can’t wait until they’re released this year!
The frame for Fly by night is perfect

I start singing that in my head too! 🍉
Wow! Impressive how many beautiful patterns you’ve been working on. I love seeing your finished projects.
I’m not much of a Halloween person but that chart by Autumn Lane is gorgeous! Thank you so much for continuing to inspire us.
Enjoyed your wip parade so many beautiful 🤩 projects! Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🪡🧵🤗🤩
Thanks so much for showing Turkey Day. I love it and promptly ordered a chart. Thanks for the enabling 🤗

You stitch things I do not. I always enjoy seeing what you’re working on. Love your fabric and color choices.
Helen...I love all the beautiful patterns you stitch...best wishes❤
I always keep my pieces in Q Snaps or hoops. Easier to take out and just start. Beautiful projects. I absolutely LOVE the Santa.
“let’s bust this out” made my day
Hi Helen. Plugging along is the best we can do and enjoy the process and progress as we go along. You have some great WIPS.
It's always fun to see what you're working on! Thank you for taking the time to share your beautiful stitching!
Great WIP parade. It's fun to go through things midyear. I like hearing other's thought processes regarding their WIP's as well.
Thanks for a great WIP parade. Love all your finishes!
Can’t wait to see the Owl Forest pattern finished. Colors look great on that fabric! Joyce

So many great projects! My favorites are Comet and Block Party SNOW. I have the SNOW Block kitted, but haven’t started it yet. Patti
That's probably the piece I have closest to a finish. I'm hoping the next time I pull it out I can get it done. 😊

Hi Helen! I enjoyed your WIP parade-thanks! On Annie Beez 12 Days of Christmas, are you stitching over 1 or over 2 on the black 25 count Lugana?
I am using two strands of floss over two squares of lugana.
Thank you for sharing your wips. Your work is lovely. I love your Halloween projects and hopefully I can start one soon.

I hope you made progress and then got some sleep!
Enjoyed the parade!!
Great parade. I do have a question--do you include the require floss with each project?
Once it's started I usually keep the floss with a project until it's done.
I think a mid year look is great. I kitted up quite a few projects at the beginning of the year. Then I decided I like small seasonal stitches so I haven’t touched many of the ones I kitted up. Thank you!
You just came thru my feed and really enjoyed your video.
Thank you!
I love them all
It was FUN!
I just finished stitching that turkey!
It's such a fantastic design!
Why do u use felt under q snap? I’m sure there’s a reason.
It helps hold the sides a little tighter and also gives a little protection to the stitches underneath. 😊

Thanks for parade. If adoption is still available I would love to continue the Christmas start, I have chart started on floss kit but not fabric.
Which piece are you thinking of? I don't remember showing a Christmas chart that I decided not to continue in this video.
@@helend.flosstube sorry I got it mixed up with another one. Love the chart variety!
