Hi Andrew Love all of your WIPS - Great Progress on them. I love Black Swans Patterns - they are just beautiful. I bought some of their Charts long time ago. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🧵🪡🧵✂️❤️
Thank you so much! That's so cool you've got some Black Swan charts in your stash. They really are beautiful patterns and I look forward to starting one. Have you stitched any before?
Andrew, you accomplished a great deal of stitching. Do not stree. Cross-stitch should be a hobby, not a job. Good luck with your marathon training. I have not been able to run lately because of the heat. Too hot!!! But I will run eventually.
Thank you! I did feel like I got a lot accomplished :). You're right it's a hobby and is all about the fun! I do enjoy setting goals though haha. Oh yes, the heat has been brutal lately! I'm definitely taking it slower :). Happy stitching!
With your creepy Christmas, you could always pack away the leftover fabric with the pattern in case you decide later to do the others. If it sits for a year, let it go and be done. That Mira mermaid, those pearls. Oh la la. I think we as stitchers need to redefine SAL as strictly a start along, takes the pressure off. 😊. The saga is still just (no words)... amazing I guess. The fairy is definitely one of my favorites. The background fabric is so perfect. I now have a Nora Corbett on deck. Finishing a stitch today while I watch flosstube. You may see me comment twice, as my device needs charging. I need to learn to cast to my TV.
That's a good idea on the Creepy Christmas ornament! Glad you're enjoying the mermaid, Saga and Lilly of the Woods! You're so right about start alongs. That's all they should ever be haha. Hope you got some stitching done and thanks for stopping by to catch up!
Your Miras are looking beautiful! I don't worry about rolling up the scroll frame unless I was doing beading. That's the only time I might put something in between. I've never had Kreinik catch on threads. And yay for Black Swan!! I stitched Merrick forever ago and have Cymberleah as a WIP.
Thank you so much Liz! Good to know I don't have to worry about using the scrollbar. I will put something in between when I start beading. Oh I'd love to see Merrick all stitched up!! Cymberleah is an amazing WIP! Happy stitching!
Us few candy corn fans need to band together to stand up to those who tease us relentlessly for it!😂 Definetely one of my favorite candies, too! Those and Cadbury creme eggs- I absolutely love the fondant center and would buy it in bulk jars if I could 😂😂 Andrew, ur pieces are so beautiful! Hearing ur enthusiasm about ur designs gives me even more motivation to work on my pieces! All my "stitch alongs" become more start-alongs cuz I've joined so many and just want to do them all, but 1 stitch at a time I guess, right?!? 😉 Love the new patterns u have added to ur collection! 😊 Happy stitching! Great to see u again, and I hope u continue to have an amazing summer!! 🐈⬛🪡❤️
YES to candy corn fans haha. Unnecessary teasing ha. Have you ever tried mixing candy corn and salted peanuts in a bowl? It's my favorite way to eat them because it's the perfect mix of salty/sweet haha. Aww I'm glad I could help motivate you to pick up some of your pieces! One stitch at a time for sure and we can just enjoy the whole process! Happy stitching and thanks for stopping by to catch up with me!
Oh my, your Mira stitches are amazing, Andrew! I know how you feel about all the sALs and keeping up. It’s definitely a thing 😉 Good luck with your training.
Thank you so much! Ooh I've seen the Cymberleah pattern and that looks gorgeous! Glad to know they are fairly easy to stitch up. I definitely look forward to starting one!
thanks for the running inspiration! i used to run so much but have been struggling to get motivated lately. hearing someone else's running experience helps 😁
You're welcome! It is tough to get out there some days and stay motivated! I definitely find having a program to follow helps or a race to entice me ha. Hope you're able to get out even if just for a mile or two!
Great stitching. You have a calming voice as I stitch a little bit with my coffee before I “must” start my day today.( Which I need to get going on) Congrats on your run Sounds so fun. Take care......
Thank you so much! I'm glad I could keep you company in a little coffee time before starting the day. If only our days could be just sipping coffee and stitching ha! Have a good one!
Hello Andrew love the ornaments so cute. Do the 4th one for your birthday. Love the lady and her strawberries. I am going to start Saga in July I shall work mine on 18 count Aida and DMC thread shall give you the no. when I start the project. Enjoy stitching your ladies personally they do nothing for me samplers are my bag. Always place a piece of calico over the work prior to scrolling.
Thanks so much! Sounds like a great plan for SAGA. Totally get it. Once I do my first sampler, I'll probably be hooked as well ha. Good to know about placing calico over the stitching!
Hi Hun. Well done on yr 10k. Great medal. The festival afterwards sound fantastic. We don't have that after a race here in the UK. Might get a bottle of water 💦 Good luck with Ur upcoming runs. I've done something at work and have sciatica so have had to stop running while it's healing.... typical. O well hopefully can get back soon. Love all yr beautiful stitching. Lily of the woods is gorgeous. And yr cute dragon sal. Love the long dog. I'm stitching death by cross stitch. Need to get back to it. Love yr channel. Take care. Xxx
Hello! Thank you for the kind words. The festival afterwards was something new this year, but really added so much to the race! I'm so sorry to hear about your sciatica acting up. Take the time to rest and heal and eventually you'll be able to pick it back up again. Oh death by cross stitch is such a great piece, I hope you're enjoying it!
Hi Andrew. Always nice to spend time with you. I was thrilled by your t-shirt. I grew up on Long Island so surely spent time on Fire Island. Wow! Regarding stitching a Chatelaine, do you watch Belushi Stitches? If not, go check her out. She did a series of videos specifically on stitching her Chatelaine. Very good series. Your Spring Mermaid looks stunning with her beads. I haven't jumped into beading yet but am looking forward to it. Do you find you like to secure your beads with a half stitch or a full stitch? I've surely heard differing opinions. Thanks for sharing your time with us, Andrew. I enjoy stitching with you.
Hi Patti! Great to have you stop by here and catch up! That's so cool you know Fire Island! I've only been twice, but would love to go back someday! I didn't know Belushi stitches, but will definitely check her out. Always looking for tips on Chatelaines before I think about starting one. Thank you so much! I really enjoyed beading the spring mermaid! For this one, I just did half stitches (mostly because I wanted the beads to lay at an angle). There's definitely different opinions, but I think it's just about going with what you think will look best for the piece! Happy stitching!
Love all the stitching! Your mermaid and lily are beautiful. Your fancy lady collection is growing. I finished my last ugly sweater ornament. Just have to FFO them 😅 Have a great rest of June. Good luck on your pride race.
Thank you so much! My fancy lady collection is definitely growing, but I really enjoy them so I'm ok with that :). Congrats on finishing the last ornament! I'd love to see how you FFO them! Happy stitching!
Oh that's so awesome! I'd love to see a picture of your finished one if you want to email it to me. I didn't even realize there were beads in it (hadn't looked at the floss list yet). That's so exciting!
Thank you so much! It's a really big piece, but taking it in sections has been nice. And the stories are so fun that go along with it ha. Highly recommend this piece just know it will take a while! :)
Thank you so much for the super sweet shout out! I have enjoyed connecting with you here and on ig too and your new videos are always on my Must Watch list. Those Black Swan pieces are gorgeous, I've never heard of that designer either. I thought the beading on my Wisteria pixie was so fun, I'm glad it went smoothly for you! I finally started my piece for the #StrawberryMoonSAL while I watched your update.🍓❤
You're so welcome. I always enjoy your videos too and was happy to call them out! Glad you enjoyed beading too. It definitely adds such a cool element to the piece. Yay for starting your strawberry piece!! Happy stitching Jen!
That Mermaid is spectacular with all that beading. Love it. Lily of the Woods is also a work of art. You have grown so much in your short time on Flosstube. I enjoy all your videos!!
Thank you so much! I am really enjoying my fancy ladies and how they are coming along. I've learned so much and still am learning each day! Can't believe it's been 16 videos, but having a great time sharing with you all. Thanks for your support!
You finished the mermaid just in time. She looks beautiful. Lily is moving along quickly. I've never used anything between layers of fabric when using a scrollbar.
Yayyyyy on a beautifully successful beading experience on your Mermaid! I have yet to venture into beading. I’m definitely having Deadly Aquarium fomo too and perhaps you’re onto something … I needed this nudge to start my fourth Creepy Village ornament! I completed the first three last holiday season and want to do the other three before this season :) Thanks for sharing your art Andrew and until the next stitch
Thank you! Beading wasn't as bad as I had expected and I actually enjoyed it! You should totally get out a Creepy Village ornament even for Christmas in July. It was fun to stitch Lola during this time ha. Happy stitching Jennifer!
Your projects are beautiful. I was working on Saga while watching your video. I'm working on the first arch in each row, working my way to the bottom. I'm currently on the first arch, third row. Since I'm doing a gradient of blues I want to make sure my colors work before I do a whole row. Take care.
Thank you so much! Glad to hear you got some work on SAGA while catching up with me. That's a good plan! It's such a lovely piece and I'm excited to keep getting further! Happy stitching!
I love all the beading on the mermaid, you did a great job Andrew! 😍 And I guess now I want to buy that pink Kreinik and just stare at it all day haha. Thanks for showing all your beautiful projects with us ❤ I admire your stitching on the long dog, that is such a big piece!
Thanks so much! 😊. It's hard to do the beading justice on camera, but I do love how it turned out!! And that pink Kreinik! It's just so pretty haha. Happy to share the stitching with you and thanks for taking the time to stop by and see the updates!
Congratulations on your 10K! It will happen next time. I am currently rehabbing a running injury so I will live vicariously through your races. Good luck with your next training block. Your fancy ladies are gorgeous. Can't wait to see your progress. Which app are you using to keep track of your stitches. Looking into that for my own projects.
Thank you so much! I was very happy with my time even if I was over 6 seconds haha. Sorry to hear about your running injury... happens to all of us at some point. Important thing is to take the time to rest and heal! I use MarkupRxP to track my stitches. It has a big learning curve, but they have a lot of tutorial videos on their youtube channel that help!
Aww thank you so much for the kind words! I was nervous, but I absolutely love how it turned out. Somehow it's even better in person haha. Thanks for the support and happy stitching!
Lily is stunning!! I would definitely protect my stitches when rolling it up. So much work you don’t want to mess up. Loved the Saga story. It must have really resonated with you being a runner and running for charity. I could see you envisioning yourself running along that course. Happy Stitching 🪡
Thank you! 😊. Do you have any suggestions of what to use to protect the fabric? I definitely don't want to mess it up! I totally envisioned myself doing the charity walk in the story ha. So cool how it relates. Happy stitching and thanks for watching!
@@therunnerstitcher I often use a piece of quilt batting with my qsnaps to protect my stitches. You probably don’t have that laying around lol. Any piece of fabric would probably work, you could even double it for extra padding.
When your video popped up on my screen I smiled. I always look forward to your videos. Your spring mermaid is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see your start on the summer mermaid. Seeing your spring mermaid finish makes me want to stitch them. Your Lola Crow Christmas stitches are so cute. I am stitching The Deadly Aquarium and I’m enjoying it a lot. I’m behind on the frame but I’ve also been working on the first 3 releases. Hoping to get caught up. I love your Long Dog Saga stitch it is coming along beautifully. I am so proud of your accomplishment on your race. You did great coming in at 3000 something out of more 20,000, that is so awesome. I always love watching your FlossTube and hearing about your life updates and seeing all your projects you are working on. Been watching you since you posted your very first FlossTube, the time is going by so fast. Have a great week and looking forward to your next video.
Aww thank you so much! I'm glad you've been enjoying the channel and the updates. I'm excited to start summer as well and am so pleased with the spring mermaid! Glad you're enjoying deadly aquarium. I will stitch it one day as I am loving each part that is released! Thank you so much. It was a really lovely race day and I enjoyed it so much. Time is going by so quickly, hard to believe I'm already at Flosstube 16! Thanks for watching and supporting from the beginning!
Oh marathon training....I remember those days, good times! Love your Miras, so pretty. I'm enjoying my first fancy lady and hope to have it done for Christmas. 🤞😋
@@therunnerstitcher Butternut Road, the Christmas Visit. Stitched outside today (in the heat but under trees) was lovely and orts are not an issue outside. 🤭
Andrew! I loved the whole video as per usual. The mermaid with the beading is the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen in my life. However, the thing that stood out to me the most is your favorite candy of all time is candy corn?!? What?!?!?!? 🤯
Hi Jess! Aww thanks for the kind words. I am so happy with the mermaid. The beads are even better in person I think ha. Omg yes... candy corn! but a little secret of mine is to mix candy corn and salted peanuts in a bowl... its' dangerous but the perfect combination of salty/sweet haha
Well done with the running, you will improve in time for October. Cup of tea, stitching in hand and listening, but got to you 4 hours after notified of post. Raining here in the UK.😊
The wavy fence, will right itself when you have finished and pressed it up, but do that carefully and watch how the fabric is going. Best I can do using this method and well done with the beads, I know they were concerning you, see, you did it.😎
Thank you for the tip! I'm glad to hear the wavy fence should realign once pressed and finished. I'll be very careful as I iron it. Thanks for your support, I'm happy I did the beads! Great practice for when I bead Lilly :). Happy stitching!
I enjoy your visits so much, your eclectic stitching style, your running stories and your glorious smile. The mermaid is breathtaking, so beautiful. Thanks for idea of bead thread
Aww thank you so much! I really appreciate your support and the kind words :). I am so happy with the mermaid and can't wait to start summer! Happy stitching!
Beautiful Flosstube , what a joy to watch you and enjoy your stitching. That long dog is absolutely stunning and the Miras are just perfect ! Great job and will catch up on the next one xx
Saga gets me every time...I just love the design and love seeing your progress...and hearing the stories too!! Your Miras are looking fabulous 😍 I think the sparkle would look gorgeous for the backstitch although it will be a little thicker than DMC if the backstitch is just 1 strand so worth testing a bit to check it doesn't look too chunky. Can't wait to see you stitching the wizard; he is awesome!!
Thank you Kat! I'm glad you're enjoying SAGA. It is one of my favorites to get out each week! Good point on the backstitch for Lilly... I'll probably go with what's called for after testing. Yes to the Wizard (so many things to start/stitch) ha. Happy stitching!
All your projects are beautiful! I love them all! You are very organized which gives me encouragement to start more than one cross stitch at a time. I usually only work on one project until it is finished. It looks like fun to have a variety going! Thanks for sharing. Keep the videos coming!!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the projects I have going at the moment! It is definitely fun to have a variety of projects and I think it helps to be organized and set goals for them (at least for me). It's nice to be able to switch up what you're working on! But I also get working on one till you finish... that's how I used to be ha. Happy stitching!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Really appreciate that! He does stitch as well :). Not as much as me but he enjoys it! I'll have to get him on a video one of these days :)

Welcome to my channel and I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! I love sharing this hobby with you all :). Appreciate your support and hope you stop back again to see more updates!
You are making so much progress on your WIP's. I am really enjoying seeing your progress on Saga. I am just about ready to start mine, I am just waiting for the linen to arrive. Any tips?
Thank you so much! SAGA has been really fun and it's such a relaxing stitch! There's so many different ways to start SAGA, but I'd say just work it in whatever order will make you happy. For me, I needed to know that it would fit across the top so that was my initial goal ha.

Any piece of fabric would probably work, you could even double it for extra padding.
awesome! thank you for the advice! Appreciate it
🤣about the running.
The ladies boots looks so cute on your strawberry piece. l love how everything is miniature scale.
Both Miras are coming along!
I think that's why I like the strawberry piece is that there's so much detail and yet everything is so tiny! ha. Thanks Yoshi!
haha yes... marathon training sure is a beast! Thank you so much. I'm really enjoying the fancy lady stitches! Which piece are you stitching again?
@@therunnerstitcher Butternut Road, the Christmas Visit.
Stitched outside today (in the heat but under trees) was lovely and orts are not an issue outside. 🤭
Ooh yes that is a great piece. I've got that one in my stash :). I do love outside stitching! ha
Spring Mermaid is so stunning!
Thank you so much! I'm really happy with how she turned out and excited to start Summer!
Theresa Little stitcher uses felt in her scroll frames.
Oooh good to know! Thank you for the tip!
Love your finish and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Thank you! 😊. Happy stitching to you as well!
Lily does look so close to a finish. So beautiful. I don’t think you would regret using the extra kreinik you are considering. Fairies are sparkly!
Thank you so much! You're probably right, I wouldn't regret the Kreinik ha. :). Happy stitching!
Great stuff, Andrew ! I don’t put anything on my stitches when rolling them on the rods. Do it if you wish.
Thank you! Ok thank you for sharing what you do. I just wasn't sure how that would work!
The Lola Crow tree finish looks like a snow globe.
It kind of does, you're right!! :)
That is the ONLY way candy corn gets eaten in my house. And even then-it’s wayyyy more peanuts and not much candy corn. 😆
haha! Glad I'm not the only one who does that :).
Well done with the running, you will improve in time for October. Cup of tea, stitching in hand and listening, but got to you 4 hours after notified of post. Raining here in the UK.😊
Thank you! A rainy day is a lovely time for a cup of tea and stitching :). Happy to keep you company!
Great progress on your two Miras!
Thank you so much! It sure was a fun month getting to work on them both!
I love watching!!! Don’t miss a flosstube !!! I think you should keep the wings as stated… the fancy floss may throw off the work and focus
Thank you so much! Yes, that was my concern too that the extra sparkle might throw things off a bit. Thank you!
Beautiful Flosstube , what a joy to watch you and enjoy your stitching. That long dog is absolutely stunning and the Miras are just perfect ! Great job and will catch up on the next one xx
Oh thank you so much! I really appreciate that and I'm glad you enjoyed the updates :). Happy stitching and we will catch up soon!
Your Saga continues to amaze 😍😉
Thank you Alex! It's a great stitch/pattern :)
Can’t believe it’s 16 already! I’ve watched from the beginning. Your stitching is fantastic. 🙂
Thank you so much! Really appreciate your support since the first video and I also can't believe it's the 16th one haha! Happy stitching!
You’ve inspired me to put some work in on my Mirabilias!😊
Yay!! They can be so much fun :). Happy stitching!
Wow the Black Swan designs are gorgeous. Happy stitching Andrew.
I'm glad you enjoyed them too! The designer has so many great patterns I'm sure I'll be collecting ha. Happy stitching!
Beautiful flosstube as always!!!
Your mira 😮😮
I love your black swan little fairy wow
Your boyfriend stitch to?
Thank you Andrew 🦩💖🦩
Thank you so much for the kind words! Really appreciate that! He does stitch as well :). Not as much as me but he enjoys it! I'll have to get him on a video one of these days :)
@@therunnerstitcher it's sincere and yes I'm sure people would love to see your boyfriend's wips!!!
I named you at the end of my last flosstube! My favorites man UA-camrs
I know I speak French but I invite you to come and take a look
Thank you so much for the shout out! That is so kind! I will take a look and see if I can figure out the translation :).
Those black swan patterns are beautiful and your Lilly of the woods is stunning, haven’t taken my Mira out since vacation but you are giving me the bug to start working on it again.
Thank you so much! I am really enjoying Lilly and if it's inspired you to pull out your Mira for a bit, that's great! They sure are great fun!
I just found your flosstube and I’m really enjoying it ……. Good luck with your running …..

Thanks for watching Samantha!! I'll be watching your latest video later today :). Happy stitching!
Which scroll bars do you use? Thanks
I use the Arabeska scroll frames. You can find them on Amazon and I really like them!
Thank you so much
You're welcome!
