The kookaburra is seeing his own reflection and thinks it's another bird. It may be territorial with a young bird moving in. Put paper up against the glass - we used to get crows doing it on our windows. Best of luck.
Just love seeing y’all…and the girls! It makes me feel so much better to know there are others out there that have puppies who think they are not to be treated like a common dog!😅. Lay on the floor? Preposterous! Not allowed under the covers with you? Sacrilegious! Go outside in the rain? How could you suggest such a thing!!!

Birds don’t see glass. Put large stickers or even paper pieces onto the window. It will stop them. In the states we even get the small birds doing it. Some have died. I love your show. I have been a fan for years.

Happy birthday! I’m so excited I got into Summer School and will get to meet you in August. Sorry to hear about your accident. I’m in the same boat. I hit a deer in Iowa the night before the Farm Girl Retreat started, so I’m also without a vehicle at the moment. Glad no one was hurt - we weren’t either, so that is a huge blessing. Have fun on your vacation!

The darker one I think will be just buetiful. The dogs are great. Washington in the state is all so having lots of rain. The uk has also been having a lots of wet weather. Have a wonderful time on your next trip.

Karen, great new haircut! I have stitched with Vikki Clayton silks for several years. Leaving them on the bobbins is a pain. I put mine on floss drops.

Learned you can card 100/3 silks, although they’re a bit persnickety when putting the strands through the floss tag hole. I think I had 60 spools and it took me a whole day to card them. Have you thought of bringing a blanket into the studio with you on cold days to keep Lily warm? Love watching you two ❤. BTW Your Dutch Beauty and His Eye Is On The Sparrow both make me want to stitch them immediately, but I know I’d have to re-figure my colors for Dutch Beauty LOL

Brendan thank you for sharing what you were stitching the Peacock, a unicorn, a badger..I searched and found a piece of 36 count linen Seaweed. I will be taking a trip to Phoenix, Arizona this month and so excited that I’ll be able to stop into the Attic in Mesa. I told my husband I wanted to get an entire kit to remember our trip there.

Will you be doing a 2025 SAL?
This year is the last time we will be doing the free SAL in the current format. Unfortunately the negativity and abuse we receive each year has grown as the SAL has grown and it’s reached the point where our mental health is affected. We are looking at ways we can still do a new SAL, but limit the negativity and abuse, as we enjoy watching the samplers come to life.
Can one still join Teresa Koguts patreon still?
You absolutely can. I don’t believe Teresa has any limit on her member numbers.
