I remember my grandfather. How proud he was to be an American. How sad he was that due to his very poor eyesight he couldn't serve in the army. How he used to say if cut, he would bleed red, white and blue. I am glad he did not live to see this. He would have been heartbroken at what happened in January 6, 2021. We have many issues to deal with, but this incident cannot go unpunished. There has to be consequences. Or it will happen again.
My great grandmother could not stand trump and she died after the election but at least she didn't have suffer long which I hate I lost her.
My sister and I say the same thing about our father, who server thirty years in first the army air corps, the air force, and 25 years as government contractor. He flew in combat in two wars and support in three more. He as a gift generation American, parents emigrated from Greece and spite facing language difficulties and bigotry as a child he could not have loved our country more. We will keep the faith and look for ways engage those who have lost their way with the goal of forming a more perfect Union. 🙂👍♥️
