This reminds me of the Chester Bennington memorial show. When they blacked out the stage and put a spotlight on Chester's mic stand with his scarf tied around it and let the crowd sing Numb I cried like a baby.

It doesn't matter how it went down, no one knows for sure except them but one thing is certain: when you learn that there are any kind of complications between you and your brothers of 20 years you don't sue them instantly. You TALK with them and try to find a solution via dialogue. Don't tell me they couldn't have. They've went through way worse things that wouldn't have been possible with lack of communication and understanding between them
@@mindaugasmazrimas4554 who was kicked out that helped create the band?? Donnie left at the beginning of his own will i think; then returned later during the gray chapter but left again. Anders left slipknot early on because his voice didnt match their ideas (pretty sure it was all mutual, besides there is no leader). Josh left for unknown reasons; which are clearly not personal (like beef) because he is still close with them. Joey left because 1. his legs were giving out on him, and 2. They didnt have the same direction for the band. Paul passed away; and Shawn is still in it. So WHO?
You’ve got to watch when Corey gets the memorial tattoo of Paul. That’s the most emotional thing I have ever seen from him. Really awesome to see though. Highly recommended.

That was absolutely heartbreaking to watch. I cried through his segment of the tattoo show when he got it done.
I was at the 2nd ever Knotfest show and remember seeing that bass guitar set up on the stage and them honoring Paul during the concert. After the final performance they played this song as kind of background music as the band showed their appreciation to the crowd. I remember Clown brought his family out on stage. To my surprise this girl that came out on stage was a girl I had met earlier that day. Turned out to be Clowns daughter. She was a total sweetheart by the way. It's beyond sad that he lost her recently. Poor guy has been through so much but keeps on giving. I have nothing but respect and love for this band! Sorry to ramble on. Have a great weekend everyone!

I was at the festival and the morning of the day they played the entire festival had a 2 min silence. Was very strange to hear no bands playing and 100,000 people silent.
Sonisphere Festival. I was there too man. Goosebumps when the 2 min silence happened.

It was the first time I had ever experienced silence so deafening. Nobody made a sound, but you could hear everyone hurting.
Hearing the audience do the "till we die" gives me chills everytime.
The two are reunited once again.. RIP Joey and Grey. At least he's not alone up there anymore...

Go watch the Chester Bennington memorial... Look for the video "Numb - Celebrate life concert (Edited version)"... In the middle of this 3 hour memorial concert, they blacked out the stage and just put one spotlight on Chester's mic stand, played the instrumental track, and just let the crowd sing Chester's part... It was so powerful...

What I think a lot of them are about is that they considered themselves as musical artists, and after gaining super stardom they just find themselves not ready for that status. This is 4th time watching this video and I'm holding up until Joey hugs the Paul memorial and starts crying because right then and there I start crying. I'm even tearing right now as I'm writing this just because it's so emotional. But this is why slipknot is amazing in every way possible. They can hit people in the feels or they can get you amped up and other things too. I love them for that. Thank you Alex for watching this. Thank you Slipknot for making this. Thank you for actually watching this and posting it also. I was there during this at sonisphere 2014...and it was probably the most emotional moment I have witnessed at a festival. It has been a while now, but it still gets to me.

for anyone who doesn't know the guy you see Corey hug at 2:05 is Donnie Steele, who was lead guitarist for slipknot, he came back and played bass but was off stage, slipknot offered him to join the band again but he turn the offer down.

I've been a fan of slipknot since ozfest 99. When I heard of Paul's passing I watched the video of the guys coming out. No masks just themselves in tears. It broke me. Shortly after I see this video and seeing Joey hugging it and crying I still to this day cry everytime. You can just tell this was a loss of his best friend. It reminds us these guys are humans. They're just extremely musically talented humans.

Great job Alex. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul once at a Voliminal dvd screening in NYC and he was the kindest of souls, as is known of him. This young girl had her younger sister on the cell phone and Paul gave his regards and asked kindly: "Did you do your homework?"... man with a huge heart.
That video never gets any easier to watch. I bawled when I first saw it. I had front row seats on his last tour with them. Everything they put into their shows is raw and real as fuck. Thats what makes me love them so fucking much. I just cried again...watching you react to it. Damnit man. RIP Paul

I was thinking, an awesome song for you to react to is Arrowhead by Scardust, it’s not very popular but its a very underrated song and band with fantastic vocals from the singer, i think you would really enjoy it and its a pleasant surprise to see how good it is!
This concert was actually the last one I attended with my best friend. He took his own life, and every time i see footage of the this knotfest it hits pretty hard. Your reaction is real and genuine. Keep being you bro.

I was at this one. This was Sonisphere festival 2011 in Knebworth, England. I actually think its the last Sonisphere in England (still have the shirt). Slipknot killed it that night. And sometime around midday there was an awesome tribute to Paul. 2 minutes silence. All bands stopped and about 80 thousand people fell silent. An absolutely fantastic memory from a great gig. Fun fact: first headline act was the "big 4". Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth and Metallica did the first night and Slipknot wrapped it up with this on Sunday. Amazing weekend. Till we die is very underrated B side from all hope is gone. Love the song. Great reaction bro!

I was there live. It was Slipknots first show in the UK at Sonisphere Festival since Paul passed away. They had a 2 minute silence earlier in the day to which you could hear a pin drop. During this time when the band were hugging each other and Paul's stuff you could see so many people in tears. This is what a brotherhood is.
I was there. Sonisphere 2011, Knebworth. Absolutely insane gig and a super emotional ending. I'll never ever forget that gig as long as I live. ❤2

I was working that fest in security team. i am MASSIVE slipknot fan, when they played this i swear i couldnt see a single person who wasnt brought to tears from it. you could FEEL the love people had for Paul.

My heart still aches 💔 I remember how I listened to their music in secret lol I grew up in a strict catholic house , I taught Sunday School. I fell in love with thier music because of my sister's boyfriend he snuck me there music and merch . I was crushed when paul passed thier music taught me to make my own decisions and stop being a 'good

The last time I saw Slipknot was 2012, at the end of the show, Til We Die started playing, Paul's guitar and suit were brought out onstage, Joey hugged it, Clown did something I can't remember, I think a group photo was taken.
It was an incredibly powerful moment that I certainly didn't expect.
Slipknot put on an amazing show that night, with a clearly non visible bass player.
As the 9 we knew, I saw them once, in 1998, my first Slipknot concert, nothing was the same after that.
