I agree, I have had incredible times and I have laughed a lot with Alex, especially when the crowd is huge. Also as a fan of Pantera since the 90s (yes, I am very old), I have enjoyed a lot seeing how someone who comes from another musical culture is able to understand their music so quickly
I'm so happy when the "non metalhead" reaction guys go to their first metal show. You're a metalhead dude, and I love that you embrace it. So happy that you got to have this experience! And got to see some other world class bands too, like Behemoth and Gojira. Hella cool! That said, side stage isn't ideal during a show. You don't get to see most of the production, the sound quality is shit because it's all directed towards the audience, you don't get to feel the vibe of the audience, and end up feeling like you're in the way of the crew. So I hope you get to experience the full spectacle someday :)

Same man. I’ve been a fan since 99 and the first album. Had tickets 2 different times (once in 99 on the first tour for the s/t album and once in 2009) and they cancelled both times without rescheduling. Yet Corey’s been here with stone sour like 5 times :\ shits not fair haha

Yea, I kinda feel like he missed out in a way by watching it from the sidelines rather than out front. You can't see all the showmanship they put into their show from there. Not to mention feeling all the energy from the crowd. Ugh, I'm giving myself goosebumps just thinking about it. Lol But still... so badass he got to go back. 🤘

Dude, that’s fucking awesome. Have to say though- I’m insanely jealous. I’ve been a Maggot since about the year 2000, and every time I’ve tried to get to one of their concerts out here something has gotten in the way. Can’t wait for the day when I finally get to be in one of those mosh pits.

Love when Corey says we're family and we look out for each other. That's how I've always felt with the band and us maggots. A Slipknot concert is the only concert my anxiety and paranoia filled brain would let me head to without a family member, completely on my own because I know maggots got my back if something happens. I'm not alone there, if you know what I mean and that's so awesome.

I’ve met so many music guys from bleeding through, ABR, winds of plague, war of ages, many more and they are all down to earth and super nice. The metal community is a close knit group

I was at their show in noblesville Indiana near me. It was my first ever concert for my 15th birthday with my dad for one of my favorite bands and I loved every second of it

I WAS THERE!!! IT WAS MY FIRST HEAVY METAL/SLIPKNOT CONCERT AND IT WAS A BLAST🔥 at first i was mad cus i got there late asf and i was only able to see slipknot but slipknot definitely made it worth the while. It was a memorable day for me. i totally forgot that i was mad once slipknot started playing. Slipknot was worth driving almost 2hrs and more. Not to mention that it was also jay’s birthday🤘 and i left w my slipknot tour shirt and got home to sip on my no.9 slipknot whiskey 🤣

Knotfest was incredible when they came through Utah in August. Best concert of my life and I can't wait to go again. Thats an amazing experience. So jealous and excited for you!!!
It was my first Knot Fest as well in Houston and it was an amazing show, can't believe you got to be backstage for such a great band!

I went to Knotfest at Austin 360 last Friday and went backstage, but after the show. People dont realize how many 18 wheelers and crew members it takes to tear down and load an elaborate set like theirs. I'm glad you had an awesome time. Keep doing what you do.

I was at the Austin show and this was my third time seeing Slipknot and this wa sby far their best performance from what I've seen. All four bands were incredible!! This was my sister's first time seeing all the bands too and to see her face light with every song played that night (especially during Spit It Out) is a moment I'll never forget. I'm still in awe with great that night was!
