Battlefield 3 is a 2011 first-person shooter video game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a direct sequel to 2005's Battlefield 2.
In Battlefield 3's campaign, players take on the personas of several military roles: a U.S. Marine, an F/A-18F Super Hornet weapon systems officer, an M1A2 Abrams tank operator, and a Spetsnaz GRU operative. The campaign takes place in various locations and follows the stories of two characters, Henry Blackburn and Dimitri Mayakovsky.
The game sold 5 million copies in its first week of release, and received mostly positive reviews. The game's sequel, Battlefield 4, was released in 2013. - Ігри

This is a 2011 game… I’m speechless. There’s modern games that don’t compete with this level of detail
developed while holding back to make it work on xbox 360 and ps3 hardware
the whole game is a masterpiece
This game has a choice of colors and lighting effects that are simply impressive, not to mention the overall graphic rendering still impressive today as the textures, as well as the beautiful audio.
When I first saw this mission on a mundane PS3, I was blown away.
Get the old DICE back.
The wonderful Frostbite engine always impresses.

Life size, jet platform cockpit with a rumble feature along VR headset would bring the gameplay experience to life.

damnit. This is why i will always be pissed off that they took away the BF campaigns. These games were the MOST immersive for their time, hands-down, no competition.
DICE will go back to adding campaigns.

Most realistic air combat mission ever?! No. Not even slightly.
Not really the most realistic air combat scene ever though. Many elements of this mission aren't that realistic. The briefing at the beginning wouldn't happen in the corridors, you wouldn't check the flaps and stabs like that, when aiming while using the visor for the cannons, the cannons are in a fixed position built into the frame of the jet so bullets from them wouldn't be firing wherever you look. The list goes on.
