Thank you for posting, i was in Oregon 2 times back in '05 around Medford and Grants Pass, 1st thing i realized was the smell, how good it was, like the sweetest mulch, i never smelled anything or place like that, beautiful job on the tree/bore cut friend!
Nice stump Yu cut big timber the right way dame good job!! I've cut nothing over 4 ft at the stump tell ya Yu must sharpen your saw alot i did when I had to cut big timber daily over an over
What about when all them old rock hard Doug firs are gone? Them ol' loggers gonna have to get edumacated and get another job LOL! Maybe you big strong fellers should just clear cut the whole forest and be done with it.
Mike Ravenelle, when people stop living in houses or buy furniture there will still be some rock hard firs, til then the boys will keep cutting them and making a living at it😉
These are timber cutters not forest service “sawyers” they cut cuz they are setting up a landing for yarding operations below it and it was a safety hazard as they say in the video
But most respect to anybody that can step up to a tree like that and cut it but I'm sorry I'm not trying to be a naysayer here but here are the facts it was done in clips so I'm guessing that tree took over 20 minutes to hit the ground from the time you put the saw in it just from the way it looks between switching saws and everything else I've been in the woods a long time soft would you should be able to eat for breakfast with sauce like that actually I know know a tree that caliber in size it was cut where I'm from if it's a walnut if it's a white oak or heck even pallet wood a big Cottonwood you cannot pull strings in the middle of that trunk it popped it should not make a sound until it starts hitting other branches in the ground so all y'all who left comments don't know what you're talkin about that's not first class that's first date crap yet again my utmost respect to anyone who can step up to a tree like that and Get It On The Ground safely but what really counts is when you get it on the ground state with absolutely no strings pulled in a perfect flat stump you don't have to touch the butt of the tree you just walk up to in Topock it's called the to cut one of the bottom one at the top equals to that's first class added with safety I'm going home at the end of the day God bless all
That’s a much taller tree than you’re used too. You’re not going to put a a shallow face, bore it and leave a “trigger”. Not to mention it was dead and rotten so I doubt they’re worried about pulling some fiber.
Danny Fisher I love watching a good timber faller in his element, it's a thing of beauty. I recognized Darrell from the boys' hunting videos and knew he and Trent cut timber, seem like a real good down to earth family. Thanks for sharing that punkin with us
Awesome!!! So wonderful when we utilize our renewable resources instead of letting them burn or rot

Dude we're r your freaking safety glasses
What was the reason for cutting the fir? Do you work for the forest service?
The pop was amazing.

That 390 is way too rich. Blubbering like crazy
That 390 needs tuned so bad it’s killing me to watch and hurts my ears. Too rich on high idle, blubbering instead of 4stroking
That 572 seemed pretty d sporty? Who ported it?
That's a 562xp
That's a 562xp not a 572. Look at the clutch cover.
Michelle Pugh
Thanks, guess I didn’t look close enough. It’s not stock I’m guessing?
@@mikegott3364 I would say definitely not. It pulls that 28" very well. Has a very good port job!

Yea that’s my thinking as well

Don’t let his excellent work offend you. Look at it like this, he stepped up and done it and you only done a lot of talking about it. Have a nice day.
Go to the woods every day lol make a living cutting hardwood owner operator do a little more than talk....

@@HubertofLiege
Tell me what the heck is he doing cutting it then
@@ffejlehman2323 looked like it was above a landing and was going to be a safety hazard while they worked so they eliminated the danger
Was that Darrell on the huskies, Trent and Treavor's ol man?
Yes it is

That's poison oak.
That 395 sounds like a fuckin turd
Using that smaller saw to make "pilot cuts" (side boring )...
Boring should have been the first call
