    great video of what real timber fallers do for a living...he makes it look easy...one of most dangerous jobs there is...a good faller can handle any situation...never walk away...

    this is more like it! in a lot of these other video's, they make such a song and dance over cutting a tree down. it's like watching paint dry!!

      I've been a "Husky" man, for the most part, but those Stihl 64s and 66's were great saws!

    I am super hoping you are still active on this account. I am producing a video and am looking for video clips of the Timber Industry in Oregon, and these are gorgeous! Would it be ok to use a small clip (3 seconds or so) from your footage?

    What is the end product of all that wood, just wondering. I’m not a tree hugger or owl protector, curious though.

      lumber mostly, but the lower grade trees and small hardwoods are used for paper and such.

      Go to menards or home depot or actually your local lumber yard would be better. They all have a fine selection of forest products.

    Why does ever tree you cut splinter on the butt cutt?

    • @austindenotter19
      @austindenotter19 3 роки тому

      He is leaving hingewood to hold its direction better and also helps it from sliding off the stump.
