For flat-footed runners with plantar fasciitis, do you recommend using Arahi7
Very helpful thank you!
Glad it was helpful and thanks for your comment.
I believe mines might be the last shoe. Thank you.
James, the links for the Bondi 8 and Clifton 9 don't work for me here in the States. For the Bondi it leads to a women's only shoe and only size 8. for the Clifton it leads to a Hoka One One shoe. When I search Bondi 8 Men it leads to the One One shoe. Is it possible the One One is now the replacement for both of those? Also, the shoes are very expensive and while my PF pain means I am willing to consider it I want to make sure the specific shoes you recommend for a high arch male I can find. Thanks
Hi David,
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I have amended the links so hopefully, they provide you with more options, but unfortunately, Hoka doesn't stock a huge amount of their footwear on Amazon.
Hoka's full name is Hoka One One, and on Amazon, you usually need to scroll down to the description setting to find which Hoka shoe they are selling.
If someone has a high arch (pes cavus) we often recommend the Hoka Bondi 8, Asics Gel-Cumulus 25 or the New Balance 880.
Shoes alone can help, but they should ideally be combined with activity modification, strengthening exercises and stretches.
I hope that helps to answer your question and best wishes for your recovery.
I suffer with plantar fasciitis in my left foot and recently got achilles tendonitis on my right foot what would be the best hokka for me. Thanks
I think either shoes from this video may be best suited for someone with those conditions: ua-cam.com/video/9LY_pXxsXrs/v-deo.html
Thanks for the review! Don't you think Bondi 4mm heel drop is too less for plantar fasciitis? And between Hoka Bondi 8 and Asics Cumulus 25, which one you find is better for walking with plantar fasciitis?
We are not certain on this but the evidence suggests that focusing on whether you have a compressive plantar fasciitis pain or not, can influence shoe type.
I have moderate peripheral neuropathy in both feet, and PF in ONLY my right foot due to a poorly healed foot break and over-walking outside during the pandemic. My arch is fairly normal in my left foot, but HIGH in the right foot. I also have a slight bunion on my right foot, hammertoes, and the toes on BOTH feet tend to curve outward and are close together. Which HOKA would be my best bet, especially given all the issues with my right foot?
Sorry I can’t provide direct medical advice

Hi, the arahi are the most stable shoe in the video
What do you recommend for someone who has overpronation and PF out of the hokas?
The arahi 6 is one of their most stable shoes
Is Hoka Arahi 7 is a better option than Hoka Arahi 6 ? What do you recommend ?
I haven’t tested it yet but it appears to be very similar
Hello, I have plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis and heel spur. What kind of shoes would you recommend to me? I also have customized orthotics, if i buy a hoka shoes do i still have to wear my orthotics in hoka shoes?
Thanks
We generally recommend our patients to wear orthotics in a neutral shoe
Hi James, how about hoka speedgoat 5 for plantar faciitis?
It’s a very stable trail running shoe
So I have collapsed arches and terrible heel pain. Which of the 3 would be the best for PF
I discuss this in the video
Can you advise which one it is please
are there any shoe rec for men?
Hi, they all come in women’s and men’s versions
What about the project Clifton’s are they good ones? Please ?
Main changes are in the upper so one will get a similar Biomechanical response to the sole unit
Hi , I believe the Arahi 6 are my best option. I currently have the Biondi 8 , which works but I notice my footing is not stable when walking. The 6 are hard to find, it the Arahi 7 similar?
Yes the 6 should provide similar support 👍

Cushioning and a forefoot rocker can be helpful in some cases
Is there anything suitable for tennis?

I have plantar F, I have low arch and need shoe inserts that creates an arch for me. My plantar pain is only on my heel all day long and never the mid inside foot where the plantar band is. Which Hoka model would be good for me for low arch foot amd do I still need the insert if the hoka shoe has an arch in the shoe?
Sorry I can’t provide direct medical advice
Well, you answered everybody else about their foot issues in which shoe would work best I don’t understand why you can’t answer this. I have the same issues.
