Coach Lee, I used your advice and got my ex back. I waited and only responded when she reached out. Most important in the space, I learned to be ok with being alone and seeing that I was the prize, I was focused on becoming the better me and attracting the life and relationship I wanted (not the person I wanted) she came back and was afraid that I moved on due to (no contact) really it was the reset we both needed to work on the areas that made us split ( A lack of us being responsible for our own happiness) and not putting the pressure on each other. Keep no contact, they will miss you, and most importantly if they don't then you never needed them. Hang in there!
The Genius how long were u apart
Elijah Barnett so we took 2 breaks.. the first break happened in December and it only lasted a week or so. Then we rushed back too soon before we could both heal from the wounds we gave each other. So this last break was about 40 days with about 2 (text messages) from my ex before the no contact finally did what it does best. But each time you contact them it really does start the time over. So def don’t reach but keep your own energy good, when you feel good you attract the things you want more than anything. Hope this helps

Corey Bullard Thank you bro, Honestly I know what you’re feeling right now. I can humbly say this, it does help to use this space to reflect on the “real” reason this split happened, if it’s something you did and pushed her away then work on that issue so when she comes back, which she will it won’t lead to another break. Mine reached out a few times to test the water, I always delayed and only answered when I truly felt good about it. Don’t reply with anger or hurt in you, that energy will bleed into the convo. When she reaches out keep it light and short in a way to leave her wanting more convo than text. You were her to miss you to the point she sending you “ I’m sorry I made a mistake, I miss you and can we talk” once we got to phone convo I kept showing off my new improved attitude and body. It attracted her back. Even later found out she lightly explored the waters and couldn’t find anyone like me. Not about them being handsome, or rich, if you have a bond with her.. that’s strong and something she’ll appreciate as you continue to give her space and keep it cool. Hope that helps bro.

But when you know they are happy going out and not wanting to come back.

My ex contacted me after two weeks to test the waters, I was nice and polite and let the conversation fade, she’s not posting happy pics on social media, I heard from mutual friends she’s desperate, depressed and she’s finding the courage to talk to me again. Last week she unblock me from all her social media expecting me to contact her, but I didn’t, this is the 4th week and so far No Contact is working. 35 days into NC, she called after a week and I played it cool when she threw the friendship crumb. The lockdown has made me over focus on the situation but the Coach has helped me in the worst moments. I removed her from social media as she kept posting about how happy she is. Sometimes gone is good. In time you won’t even see what you wanted in this person. That’s how it’s always been for me. “Rejection breeds obsession”. My ex lived like a pig in a house that smelled horrible from her 7cats. Had other issues as well. Needless to say I didn’t see a future with her.. didn’t put a lot of effort into her. But it bothered me a lot when she broke up with me. Would things be different with her? No. She’s still sitting there in a stinking mess today. Let the other guy smell that and put her on a pedestal. I couldn’t.

@@TheCc064 because you can't just judge somebody's mental health from looking at them. It takes time, you need to get to know them for long enough to understand their mental health.
I talk about it to my friends as they don't know my ex (or have only met him a couple of times). A friend in particular has been very helpful as she has never watched or read coaching advice to get your ex back but she gives me the exact same advice as in your or other coaches videos, based on her own experience.
It's been , 2 months and I am moving on now. I don't want him now , I hope I never see him. I hope never.

You have to be willing to let it be and what will happen, will happen. You deserve someone that knows they want to be with you. Post break up, work on a life for yourself.

Do they think about you? Of course.
I have had 4 exes in my life and all 4 eventually reached out. When they see you doing well, that’s when they’ll reach out. Work on yourself. It’s a bonus if they come back. It’s an even bigger bonus if you get back together

No contact doesn’t work if they found someone else. I just went through a break up and watching all these videos is just bs! What they should be saying is move on. Who cares if your ex is happy without you. 9 out of 10 times they leave for someone else, clearly after watching these videos and reading comments that’s what happens! My advice it to move on and live your best life and don’t sit around waiting on anybody. If they left you in the dust then they aren’t for you. I seen comments of people waiting on their ex for months even yrs and that is such a waste of your precious time. Move on and be happy.
Beautytrends77 that isn’t the end of the story, the honeymoon period of a relationship is an extremely powerful short term emotion. When someone is having an affair they call this limerence.
However I do agree that if someone is pining after an ex and cannot move on for themselves then you are wasting time. Coach Lee explains that no contact is primarily for YOU and not for your ex.
MsJones I see what your saying. My ex just broke up with me and is another relationship already. Yes I know he met her before we broke up but this always seems to be the case. I was with him for 8 months and he acted like I was nothing and discarded me. He lied and said he didn’t want to be with me because he had too many problems, meanwhile he’s in another relationship.
Beautytrends77 I was with my ex (broke up in Jan) for 5 years, owned our house, wedding booked and have 3 year old child. He also discarded me like I was trash.
From what I have learnt, men will distance themselves from a situation when they are not happy, especially if we as women get emotional. They will also get a rebound and go out drinking quicker than women. We tend to obsess and they look like they’ve moved on! However it usually hits them like a ton of bricks at some point when we have moved on
MsJones wow I’m sorry to hear that. Yeh he wasn’t happy with his life. I actually contacted the rebound and what a waste that was. He made me out to be crazy of course but I was just so angry how he discarded me like I was nothing. He tried to break up with me through text. At the end of the day I’ll get over this. I’m just going through the motions now. These videos need to teach people to move on.

Great video, Lee. I drop in to listen to you a lot. It's been years since I've seen him, and I told you he rebounded 2 weeks after our breakup of 5 years, and married her. I'm doing fine, and TIME is a big factor. You're still the BEST! I forgot to add that my friends saw how my ex was USING me, and they were right. I guess there is an exception since they were being objective. I didn't listen at first, but in the end, they were all right...
I see him very happy now, he’s always active on tiktok and he interact to his followers very well. Last week he also said to me, that I should move on.

I had a moment of weakness and watched a livestream that my cousin streamed he was playing with my ex on siege (they dont know i watched it) and i got extremely emotional becuase i could hear my ex and he sound extremely happy. I came here to calm down and come back to my senses. I now realize that maybe hes still in the relief stage (we broke up 3 weeks ago but the stream was a week ago so at the time the stream was happening it was 2 weeks after the breakup) and i now know he was just having fun with his friend (my cousin knew him longer then i did and my cousin is the reason why i met my ex in the first place) ive calmed down and told myself not to do that again as it just hurts me and i shouldnt overthink or assume. :) thanks Lee
I absolutely love your videos and I ordered your Emergency Brake Up Kit. I has helped alot. Although you touch on alot of issues, my issue may be unique. My ex' s mother was very sick from July and passed away on April 4th. We were in a 2 year long distance relationship. He was basically her caregiver for the majority of the time. I was supportive, didn't complain about anything. I went months without seeing him. We live in Louisiana and COVID 19 is rampant. The day after his mother passed, we were talking and i mentioned that I wanted to see him. He told me "No", which hurt but because of the virus, I shouldn't come. I asked again, not wanting to come right then, but to make a plan in the future to see him (I couldn't get that fear in the conversation because he got upset that I asked again). He asked "what purpose would that serve"? I then told him that I felt that he didn't want to see me. He got upset and hung the phone up. A couple of days later I reached out to talk and he texted saying basically that I was being selfish, he couldn't look at me the same way because of all that he was going through. I apologized profusely via text! I called him once, texted him on the morning of his mother's funeral and texted "I miss you" . No response. I started watching your videos and have been using No Contact. I'm afraid that he associates me with the pain of his mother's death, that I "nagged" him when he was most vulnerable and that he is done with us. I told him in the first text that I wanted to be there for him. I didn't get to tell him why I made that statement, which he probably doesn't care about. If you can't help me directly, maybe you can make a video about this. I would appreciate it. There are many other layers to this but I don't know what to do. I want him back!!

He said with all of the virus stuff going on, I shouldn't come down. The parish got hit hard. I didn't add in the above comment that he lives in Houston, his mom lived in Houma and I live in Louisiana as well. Around this time the border in Texas was closed which caused more anxiety because if he went to his home in Texas, there is no telling when I would be able to see him. That's why I reacted like that.
Everyone handles grief differently. My dad passed away AUGUST 31,2019 and I wanted comfort and also space. My ex at the time was my good friend and he didnt text me or anything to check up and I was wondering why. So I texted him and he said because when my grandpa passed away i wanted to be left alone. Honestly you done nothing wrong to ask to see him. Grief and healing comes with mix emotion. Best thing to do is let him text you. Being pushy will probably irritate him since his mom just passed soo he full of emotions
@@DestinyBudgets I feel so guilty, like I ruined it. The timing definitely wasn't right to tell him that but that's what I felt at the time. I felt useless and irrelevant when I thought he would have wanted me there. I think that's the problem, that's what I would have wanted. When my dad died in 2011, I was dating someone who was really a jerk but all I wanted was to talk to him. My expectation of his reaction was sadness and all I got was anger. I understand that they are interchangeable at times. It's just rough. He may have thought I knew he wanted some space during this time, but he didn't say that

Fiamma Groen they did get better , time has helped me heal my anxiety greatly, I no longer feel rushed to get anyone back. I’m focusing on myself and learning new skills and reading all my books I had backlogged. Everything is more or less fine. Thank you and good night.

Hi Coach, I've bought your program, but I fear I am a lost cause. My ex seems elated just two weeks after officially breaking up. A whole weight was lifted off her shoulders and she feels relieved. She's already talking to other guys so I can't have meant that much to her. We entered into a rocky path in January 2020 - I messed up and I went on tinder to check our old messages, she saw and thought I was messaging other women. She said she needed space and I bombarded her with calls and texts to save the relationship. She said she "no longer knew me" and that I had changed. Then came three months of trying again, where, when we saw each other, we were like normal - she even said she felt in love again. But, her excuse was that this just felt like a sticking plaster over the issue. I must confess, I was insecure and needy, for example, I checked her phone like 4-5 times during our year-long relationship for my own peace of mind because I do have OCD and anxiety which shouldn't be an excuse. I know you can't do that, and she said I made her feel guilty for going out with her friends (I was sad I wasn't with her, but I'd never stop her going out). She said we didn't communicate well and that we were incompatible. We had 2 two-hour long phone calls two weeks ago where I apologised and told her the mistakes wouldn't happen again, but that she has totally moved on and doesn't want anything to do with me anymore. I feel heartbroken, she was so cold and appeared completely different from when we were going out. She was so insecure when we were together - each day she'd have something else to hate about herself and I was there to support her all the time. In fact, she mentioned that we felt like friends for the past few months not a couple, and that we didn't have 'banter' anymore. But, my point was the fact that I felt I couldn't have banter with her because she would take it the wrong way, particularly when she felt so low about herself all the time. I began NC two weeks ago but I still feel sick, I feel lost and empty, I feel like someone has died. I miss her so much, but she clearly spent the past three months getting over me whilst I continuously tried to patch things up.

My relationship was 21 years long we had very strong connection best friends best partners best lovers. Of course with children we fallen for the routine we kind of grew apart. Deep inside I believe he still loves me but he has to prove himself God knows what. I’m calm and still. I’m not making important decision about our situation. I hope whatever happens is for the best for both of us.
I think of how each person in a marriage or relationship owes it to the other to find individual happiness, even in a shared life that is the only way to grow together instead of apart.

Yes, I hope he sees this, but he has mentioned in previous videos about this topic. He has basically said that couples in this dynamic more often than not end up staying together for longer. He uses the reference of married couples that have been together for 20 years, saying they would have broken up multiple times if they could. I hope he answers your comment, I would love to see a vid on that.

This is the kind of question I've been asking myself for a while. Not only wondering if she is happy, but if she thinks about me at all. It will be a year next month (June 22) since we broke up. Not a day goes by that I haven't thought about her. I have made a great deal of progress since going into no contact 7 months ago, but I still love her as much as ever. The past month and a half has been very weird with the Coronavirus and quarantine, giving people much more free time, thus allowing me to think about her more than usual. Trying to stay strong right now is very hard because it's difficult to fill my time when the things I was occupying myself with are closed for the time being (the gym, etc.). I want to be able to move on properly, and I made a decision to do so right before this pandemic hit (which is strange timing in itself). It's not an easy time to be single, especially when I still love her.

Guys please listen to Lee.... It’s been almost a year Since my ex broke up with me For his ex. It nearly killed me...we didn’t get back together but I still kept my dignity intact because I refused to chase him. NOW I’ve heard that he is truly miserable because the person he left me for has put him in a financial crisis...LOL...yeah karma is real...but the point is that if someone chooses to leave you, especially for someone else, then let them go!!! They have to live with the consequences of their actions! In addition, I’ve really learned a lot about myself through all this. Just keep watching these videos..over and over if you have to. It’s almost like quitting an addiction...sometimes it’s one day or even one hour at a time. You can do it...I promise!!

My friend told my ex that I “thought she still wanted me”. That was not the case at all. I had told him that I MAY be able to resolve our issues and get back with her, but he assumed that I meant I thought she wanted me.
Ever since that day, it has NOT been the same. It’s been an AWFUL trek the whole journey, and I’m still not happy with the scenario I am currently in. She doesn’t trust me. She believes she can’t talk to me without giving me hope. She believes I still absolutely long her for soul, even though I’m pretty much content and over it at this point.
Yes I would love another shot with her, but it’s not the end of the world. I would at least like to make a friend out of her, but she is (unfortunately) feeling guilty, and will not talk to me without stepping over landmines that aren’t even there. She doesn’t realise I’m actually okay, and unfortunately that’s my fault for telling my friend.
I now notice small signs, and she has opened up to me since. But there’s usually a lot of pullback, after realising she could have possibly given me hope. Her pullback can often last weeks, and force me to start over again.
The real question is How is Coach Lee getting haircuts in quarantine?

My ex left me (ldr) i bet for someone else. She texted me few days ago and says she takes pills for depression and maybe need sleeping pills. She asked if we could talk and I said talk about what and she said something like a friend, friend who cares about her and she send pictures of us. I told her, u already know im not friends with women and hope u get better and other then that wish u the best and take care. She replied and said maybe she should take sleeping pills. I didnt reply. She left me when i lost my job and efter we broke up i got my job back after 2 days and now working on myself and feeling very good. And I bet the guy she left for dumped her now she is feeling shit now when she is all alone but that karma but hope she feels better, dont wanna hold grudges
I´ve been working on myself and my ex has been reaching out more often. We are still on good terms and I can tell that he misses me, because when we speak, he gets very talkative and shares many things that´s going on in his life, things that we always used to talk about. Of course I´m still very sad about the breakup and very afraid that we´re not gonna end up together, but I´ve been able to keep it to myself and look and be carefree and chill around him. Now he had a birthday and my mom congratulated him on his birthday. Today she showed me what she wrote to him - she told him that I´ve been very sad and withdrawn after the breakup and that I´ve changed very much, that I doesn´t share my feelings with anybody anymore and want to be alone all the time. Did she hurt my chances to fix things with him by making me seem weak and miserable?

My ex broke up with me today and we still live together (moving out soon) and he seems happy right away. I can hear him laugh and have a brilliant time with his friends online and he was joking with me, acting all energetic. Makes me feel like he really couldn't wait to get rid of me. We broke up before and he came back to me after no contact. 6 months later, he decided to dump me again. I feel stupid for even wanting him back still
My ex is a gentle kind hearted person whose dad and other people encouraged him to break up with me. I am partially scared no contact when I see him in person might scare him away or something (or itll make him believe we arent just meant to be). We both made it really clear we want to get married still and love one another, but now I just realized these things and it's made me doubt. I wish you still did coaching calls.

My ex was horrible to me for weeks leading up to the break up. I finally reacted and he used that as a reason to leave...
About 5 weeks later we had a conversation where he was so unbelievably cruel to me.
I since blocked him everywhere but last night I made the mistake of seeing if he changed his Instagram photo and he had.
It was a real 'im so happy now I'm free and single' kind of photo... It killed me.
He's a very troubled person and I was nothing but good to him. I don't think he will realise that I was the best woman to ever enter his life until he starts dating again

After the break up my ex continued to bar hop and ride the CC for many months. She is happy now settling for a beta male provider. Only a month into the relationship she has a promise/engagement ring. Moving into a house together. He is a married man btw. It is absolutely disgusting the things she has done to me and herself. I will continue to work on myself and not let any of that affect me and what I'm doing. I will wait bc some day I will find the woman of my dreams.

I gotta say, don’t try to find some solace in the comments section. You keep scrolling, wishing you’d find something that may relate you, then you find something someone posted and he said he’s like 7 months in NC, heartbroken, doesn’t know what to do. Well let me STOP you know. I did this, and it ended up hurting so much more. These people have their own relationship issues. Listen, i couldn’t eat for the first 4 days. But i realised i needed to change for my mistakes (if you did) so all i did was go NC, but i spent few days embracing the real breakup, that i wouldn’t get back up - ok now you’re over that. Now, book an activity, even if by yourself, i booked a supercar day out just for me. This helps so much, you’re on your first move out of the previous zone. Next, i’ve realised, i’m going to start “using her” to become better. She said to hit gym, so i’ve got a PT ready for Monday and i’m gonna smash this now, i’m gonna be everything she saw as perfect. BUT WAIT, this is only helping you. Use her as motivation, and when you realise you have become so much better, you’ll be wondering why you wept over that. She will chase you. My point is: use her as motivation to chAnge for the future, but as time goes and you become better, you get to decide!

Coach Lee - help please! It’s a long one. My husband of 16 years and true best friend left me and our son (1.5 years) 2 months ago. He was unhappy with arguing which has been ongoing for a while (bickering). Initially I begged and pleaded for the 1st month and then went to limited contact. Since then, he is friendlier and reaches out to ask how both me and our son are. He came to pick up his son yesterday and we had a very long chat, he isn’t happy and says he loves me and misses me but he’s scared it will go back to the way things were and the arguing made him unwell. He also said that he doesn’t think this is the end for us but is unsure. He spent most of the evening here, he is happy for me to spend time with his family and sees his son regularly. We shared a passionate kiss which I know was not the best move - he initiated. Would now be a good time for me to text him to say that I’m not giving up on us yet - or am I best to continue with limited contact and wait for the emotional connection to continue growing?? How long should I continue with the limited contact if so?

Hey Coach Lee, can you make a video about when you should and shouldn’t apologize to your ex after the break up? My ex broke up with me, we argued a lot and were really stressed. I know it’s a two way street, but 7 months later I realize that I didn’t respect her feelings and didn’t truly listen to her when we argued and create a safe place for her to express her feelings. I want to apologize but should I in this case or just stay in no contact and keep working on myself? I feel if I don’t apologize, this is why she won’t reach out again, because she feels I don’t respect her feelings. She reach out once since the breakup and after two texts, she never responded again. It’s been almost two months since she reached out.

@@noubietube3062 I didn’t apologize. I sent a message and we reconnected via text for about two months with three phone calls. She started pulling away tea it’s the second month and ignored my invitations to meet. I got concerned at one point if something happened to her because she stopped texting. I gave about 5- 7 days without texting in between reaching out and sent her a voice message. Then she responded two days later saying she thought we could be platonic friends but realized now it’s better we don’t speak. I responded by saying, ok. I’ll respect your wishes. Take care. It’s been 3 months since that happened. Don’t know what to do now but I’ve been getting my life together. I can’t figure out how I would reach out again after that last message she sent.
