I ordered the OEM plastic one, the aluminum is out of stock and too expensive in the UK. After one ride I noticed scratches, used rust oleum plastic paint and looks nice
Just got one same as yours but it wont fit. Brackets wont line up and looks like i will need to squeeze them in but dont wana break the plastic. Did you have to force the brackets in abit?
I bought one off Aliexpress and it was a lot more difficult to fit owing to the thin sheet metal brackets. and i had to put spacers behind the screen and chobble a bit off the bottom so that it fitted the head light properly. still it worked well and for NZD23 delivered it was good. have all the fasteners on your engine started to rust. must be the poor quality Indian plating? I have replaced most of mine with 316 Stainless cap-screws. the chain is also made from 'lead' and stretches in no time at all. paint quality poor especially under the seat on the tank. still it gets the looks and is overall a nice bike. I'm doing a hydraulic clutch. doesn't need one but I did one on a CX500 and SR500 and old Enfield India. just nice feel. have a KTM side cover coming from UK to modify with KTM65 slave.

Using a magnet to check whether something is stainless steel is a quick & easy check! Good tip!

@@SeanFillner 304 stainless is magnetic. only 316 is not so magnetic it is but not as much as mild steel.

I have not had any of the problems you are experiencing at all...
It's a good job, but it seems Amazon is not ever the better option.I prefer the original one fron Husqvarna. Of course, It isn't the same price.

will the aluminum one still fit? I see that the brackets look different from the lexan.
I did not test fit the aluminum one but Willow did on her bike and the brackets between the lexan and the aluminum don't match at all....

Figured it out! had to combine both windscreen hardware to make it work. So it all worked out!
