What mirror extenders did you use? Can you give a name or post a link? I only see my shoulders too which sucks when lane splitting and you have other riders moving in from the sides to overtake you. I dont want bar end mirrors because they add to the width of the bars and I am lane splitting pretty much 100% of the time and also don't really like the way they look...
This channel is so cool! It's like i have a motorcycle godfather constantly giving tips and tricks on how to work on my rig! Love it! Subbed and here to stay!
Bar ends are popular because they clean up the look of the handlebars. Especially with a bike that already has tall handlebars, when you add the height of regular mirrors it looks goofy.
I've been watching your videos...I have a 2020 Svart 401 - my first bike - from Vancouver BC. I enjoy watching your videos. Didn't really feel these new mirrors you got. Funny enough I ordered the bar end mirrors you got just to try em out (even though I have factory Husky bar end mirrors) I did not like the Fernir one's either...found them too small - returned them. Anyways The stock Husky bar end mirorrs are awesome...bit on pricey side but REALLY like them..clear view and no vibration at all. Thanks for sharing all you do. Its time for you to slap on a nice LeoVince exhaust now :)
I am staying away from name brand exhausts as I hate the advertisements they put on them with logos... The new mirrors are growing on me with the longer arms of course...
Just my personal opinion but those mirror mounts are bulky and uglier than stock. My first rule is don't do mods that detract from the stock appearance. Bar ends can vary quite a bit in their size and position and therefore effectiveness, but generally improve the bikes looks. That is why they are so popular.
I love them. I can glance over to either one and see what is going on behind me. As for bar ends you are either looking at your legs or your forearm if you glance over and requires body adjustment to see behind you. They might look cool but were a huge safety issue in my book which is why I ditched them.
@@SeanFillner I have had bar end mirrors on a previous bike and found the view to the back as good or better than stock, but they were as large as stock and perhaps the bars were a tad higher than those of the Svartpilen. Could be at 150 by 5'9" I can look around myself a little easier than most. I have a deposit down on the Pilen and look forward to implementing my own custom ideas. Anyway thanks for Vid and taking time to respond.
Mirror extenders on the factory mirrors, did the job for me

I personally think they look like an afterthought when you use bar end mirrors...
Haha, just commented you other video ... But found my answer here .. !
Hello from the Netherlands and thanks for the video .
Sincerely Hollandduck

I will keep the channel updated! Thanks for tuning in!

I liked the look of your small round mirrors with the home made mount. How did they work? Could you see past your body?
They did work but since everyone wanted me to build them a set I had to find another option...
The longer mirror extension is the better way to go as you got more visibility to see around yourself...
I noticed that immediately once I sat on the bike and got them both dialed in nice and wide and low on the bars. They look pretty mean now....
long, the more vista the better
I am leaning that way for sure!
yeah, but what about the bar end mirrors:)
Covered, in depth, in this build series playlist. I will give you a hint: junk, even the oem ones
i think you should mount your mirrors to your helmet
I like where this is going although I don't think the cops would....
Longer arm for sure.
looks like long arm is the same as factory set up??
Not even close. Infinite adjustments which is super rare on a set of mirrors and a lifetime no questions asked warranty...
Use the short ones
I would love to but am running into the same issues as the bar end mirrors with lack of visibility...
Long
YES!!!

@@chawpino8320 I look forward to seeing your build. Keep me in the loop.
Talks crap about bar end mirrors, then places a mirror in the same location most bar end mirrors would be😂😂😂
Posts comment on an old video and fails to watch the newest ones.... :D
