I have the ergo seats and have used both them and the stock seats on longer 500Km rides. I can tell you there is absolutely no difference in comfort. Unless you want the esthetics save your money, you are better off taking the stock seats to a professional motorcycle seat upholstery shop and getting them to put in better, taller foam or the gel pad. Pro tip: if you want the look of the esthetics of the ergo seat and dont want to get gouged by Husqvarna/KTM you can get the one piece Vitpilen ergo sea. It costs about the same as the Svartpilen driver ergo seat but covers both driver and pillion positions. I also think it is a bit more comfortable as well, probably because they are using one bigger single piece of foam.
I got mine included with the bike when I bought it. I heard there were supply problems in some countries because they were made in Europe. There were no problems in Japan and you can buy them from most dealers. I don't know about the situation in your country. Sorry. This site has been mentioned as a good place to get parts. aomc.mx/28107940100.html
I can't say I can recommend a dealer. Alpha3 is in Totsuka and they have been there for a long time (more than 30 years). They have just rebuilt their shop. I got some quotes from a few dealers and they were the most reasonable by far. The mechanic is a friendly guy and is always eager to help. I haven't had any problems so far. alphathree.shop/
@@bikesonabudgetjapan thank you, that's not too far away. I was looking at the husqvarna tomei yokohama as it's closest but the google maps reviews weren't the best. I plan to go to umedia chigisaki soon because they have the most brands in one place so I can sit on some bikes. I still have yet to sit on the svartpilen to see how it feels to me but I'm just 5'8" so I I'm hopeful.
@@WARweezy Umedia is fun to visit. Sooo many bikes but the prices I got for the new husqvarnas were disappointing to say the least. Hope you have better luck.
@@bikesonabudgetjapan oh I don't plan to purchase a bike from Umedia. I had a friend refer me to someone he knows in saitama that can get a bike for me from an auction so going to see if he can find me one in the next week or two that is just barely used for a good price. Just want to stop by the umedia near by to sit on the bike to see how it feels to me.
I just got my svartpilen yesterday and stumbled on your channel today, Great work my good sir!
Welcome aboard! Hope you find some useful stuff here.

does it fit on the svartpilen??
@@TweezyTwin yes, drop in replacement
Great video. Im still trying to decide whether to get these seats or not. They look nice but are expensive.
If you are getting a sore rear, it might be worth it. It will also increase the value of your bike.
Continue car j'aime beaucoup est ca m'aide pour ma svartpilene 2022😁
Where did you ordered them? planning to get a set too

@@bikesonabudgetjapan do you mind saying after all taxes and fees how much you paid?
Да это мопед какой-то, разве это мот , вот например у моего сына КАВАСАКИ H2R вот это мотоцикл
Hopefully your son lives a very long time on that H2 - this is one of the stupidest flexes I have ever heard 🙄
